I was downloading $15 worth of iTunes songs from a gift card when my iPod died. Now, no credit & no songs on my iPod. Where did either my $$ go or my songs that I paid for disappear? How do I get one or the other? I have 2 of the same iPod's and logged onto both with the same as well as different apple ID's and passwords to each respective iPod and the completion of my downloaded songs has disappeared into thin air. I am Streaming audio from my IPAD to my Apple TV from Rhapsody application. when Apple TV go into Screen Saver mode, about 5 minutes after that it stops playing the Audio Stream and goes into Sleep mode. I am using the Optical Out from the Apple TV to my receiver, the Apple TV is hard Wired to the Network, the IPAD is Wirelessly attached to the network (it continues to play the Audio Stream). When the Apple TV is turned back on it resumes playing once I manual select it for output from the IPAD. All device are on current releases of software. I have no Video hooked up to the Apple TV. How do I correct this?
Intermittent problems are often a result of interference. Interference can be caused by other networks in the neighbourhood or from household electrical items.
You can download and install iStumbler (NetStumbler for windows users) to help you see which channels are used by neighbouring networks so that you can avoid them, but iStumbler will not see household items.
Refer to your router manual for instructions on changing your wifi channel or adjusting your multicast rate.
There are other types of problems that can affect networks, but this is by far the most common, hence worth mentioning first. Networks that have inherent issues can be seen to work differently with different versions of the same software. You might also try moving the Apple TV away from other electrical equipment. -

I had a very similar problem, error 4251. (look in your log you will see that error) Since I finally fixed my problem, I thought I would see if I can help someone else.
What I found is that I lost burn ability in both iTunes AND Windows. Like you did. I did some digging and found that this wasn't hardware related at all. In fact, this boils down to a registry key getting messed up. (sigh) Yeah. It causes the system to get a bad 'handle'.
OK, here's what to try. Go to this Microsoft KB article. Scroll down and find the *manual* instructions for Vista. Delete the registry key that it specifies. Reboot. Now verify that you can burn in Windows. (If you have a RW disc, do a disc erase, or just try and burn from Windows Media Player.) If that is working now, you're on the right track.
Now the issue is that iTunes will still be broken. Go and install the latest Gear driver. (I know you may have done it, but do it again.) Now follow the intructions in this Apple KB article to verify the "GEARAspiWDM" info is back there in the registry. Now reboot. Try and burn in iTunes.

It is usually given as a communication error between Apple, iTunes (your computer), iPhone. Somewhere they are not communicating, so the iOS you are trying to install cannot be approved by Apple. Trouble shooting steps include, making sure you have Current iTunes installed, make sure your Hosts file of computer is not blocking Apple. Try restoring on another computer.

Your question has been answered. Jailbreaking cannot be discussed here. If you buy a phone locked to a carrier, it would be down to them to unlock it, and that's very unlikely if you've only just got the phone. Locked phones are "cheap" for a reason - you're signing up for a contract and that subsidises the cost of the phone.

Safari's website says that its browser is for PC & Mac. When ever i'm on the bookmarks site of safari or searching the web it has been freezing up since yesterday when i upgraded it the the newer version 5.1. and when i tried to reinstall or uninstall it it tells me there is already an installation in progress when actually there is no installation in progress. And i can't reinstall it or uninstall it sucessfully. Please help i like Safari. i've made it my default browser, but since i uploaded it to the newer version it has been acting very weird.
I'd like to know what the problem is cause all the prior versions of Safari have worked with no problems. Version 5.1 is the only version that seems to be having a problem with Winndows 7 even though Safari's browser says its for PC & Mac also when i go to the installation page of Safari it even lists Windows 7 has a operating system that Safari can be on.Agree with you but Apple people do not hear our claims...
