(Illustrator CS6) Spacebar stops working seemingly randomly
This is an infrequent issue I've had, but it has happened more than once in the last few weeks that I've been using CS6 on a regular basis:
On occasion, my spacebar will just stop working in Illustrator CS6, so I can't use the hand tool or zoom or… you know, type, basically making Illustrator unuseable. Now, I'm PRETTY sure it has nothing to do with my actual keyboard, because the spacebar will continue to work just fine in every other application even after it does this.
The only fix is restarting the computer. Just restarting the application doesn't do it. Deleting the preferences file and restarting doesn't fix it. It's really perplexing.
Now, I'm NOT certain about this, but I think it might occur after waking from sleep (but not immediately, so perhaps it's unrelated). If/when it happens next, I will attempt to see if I can reproduce the issue, but so far I have no idea why it happens; it just seems random.
I'm using a late 2008 MacBook Pro with 8GB of RAM, running Mac OSX 10.7.4 and Illustrator CS6 (16.0.0, in case people see this after an update has been released).
I am having this problem as well, but happening quite frequently.
Also having Illustrator crashing a lot randomly as well.
Tried 32bit as well - same issue.
I've deleted settings as well - same issue.
I've tried this with multiple files, old and newly created in CS6. Same problem.
No issues with CS5.

Does it contain text? Which font?
Do you use font management?
Only one particular file?

Adobe Illustrator CS6 has stopped working on Windows 7
I've seen a few posts about this and I stall haven't seen it stop or a fix that works.
I use Illustrator any length of time (up and running just a few minutes till up for weeks on end) and as soon as I quit (either by File -> Exit, the X in the corner or Alt -> F4) it closes panels and after a bit pops up that "Adobe Illustrator CS6 has stoppped working. Microsoft is looking for a solution to this problem."
It saves the recently opened files. All settings seem to save as I don't need to reset them. But of course its worrisome.
Note:
Everything has been unisnstalled and reinstalled 3 times.
All permissions have always looked okay.
I have tried running it as Administrator and still have had it happen
Illustrator has been the only program of all the ones installed to have this issue.
Are there any fixes I've missed? I'm a cloud client so have expected a patch for a while now to come out fixing this, as I've updated Illustrator a few times since starting using CS6.

Adobe Illustrator CS6 has stopped working (random)
I have a problem with Adobe CS6 Illustrator both 32 and 64 bit has this error. It keeps crashing randomly and i get the message Adobe Illustrator has stopped working.
All updates are installed for illustrator.
System specs:
Core i5 2500K
8GB DDR3
Radeon HD6450 512MB
Windows 7 Professional SP1 + all updates
I already reinstalled the whole system but it wont help.
Does anyone know what to do?

Illustrator CS6 Workspace Stops Working within a day or 2
Hi,
I'm starting to get very aggravated with Illustrator CS6 (Mac) -- every day or 2, it stops working after opening 1 file. I clear the prefs, cache, etc. and it will work again for another day or 2.
It seems to be the Workspace I've created, but that's just a guess.
As of today, I won't create another workspace and see if that really is the issue -- everything was working well up until about a week ago and then nothing but problems -- and I have been using the same Workspace for at least a year.
Anyone else have any other suggestions?
Oh, and I've also re-installed Illustrator CS6, which didn't help.

1) File > Open = nothing happens. No file opens and no error message.
2) Dragging a fle to the AI icon = same as above.
3) Files are local.
4) I haven't tried booting into Safe Mode because that would mean I'd have to work in Safe Mode for days on end. This weird problem occurs either same day or, when using Essentials now, 5 days later. It would be impossible to get any work done in Safe Mode.
5) I'm logged in as admin and will certainly try logging out the next time it happens.
I really don't want to trash my prefs every day or clear the cache so frequently -- it will take me three times as long to work on any files as you can hopefully appreciate.
I also tried removing the internet connection which seemed to work as well, or it was a coincidence -- I am a fully registered customer and have been since Aldus! I'll have to try it again the next time. But again, doing this every time I need to work on files is going to get old very quickly.

Illustrator CS6 has stopped working on Exit....
Everytime I go to close Illustrator down, no matter the method. I get a message that Illustrator has stopped working and has to be forcefully closed. This happens any time I close Illustrator. I even uninstalled the entire CS6 package, cleared the registry settings, and erased all the files, and did a complete reinstall of Illustrator CS6 only, and I still get the same error. No plug-ins running or anything... Help...
Running Windows 7 64-bit Ultimate, AMD Athlon FX 8 Core, 3.96ghz. 16GB DDR3 1600 ram, 6 1TB drives, 3 virtual drive ( each drive is mirrored). Everything else runs rock solid without any issues at all. Just Illustrator acts oddly on shutdown.This worked for me!

After Effects CS5 stopped working, seemingly randomly.
So, I was working on a project one night (nothing new there) and the following morning I came to open After Effects and the thing loads but just sits not responding. This is after all the all the modules and plugins have loaded and you are left at the workspace.
I know I was playing with some services the night before, but I can't think for the life of me how any of the alterations would have affected ae. I have backtracked and reset some but to no avail.
Since the problem I have tried updating AE as well as my graphics drivers (ati 4870). This is on win7 64bit btw.
Appreciate any comments, I'm tearing my hair out. Also to note; no other CS5 apps are affected and I have yet to attempt a reinstall.Thanks alot for your reply.
Trashing the prefs did not do anything unfortunately.
I do not recall touching those services, but that does not mean I did not I guess. But not only that, I could not find them in the services list nor in startup. Baffled..
I'm not sure why my firewall might suddenly kick in and be blocking this, no changes were made in this respect. -
Photoshop CS6 stops working during random operations

At random times during working in Photoshop, pop up screen just says "Adobe Photoshop CS6 has stopped working". Then offers to try find solution or to close program. ThanksLook at the OS Event Viewer. See if you can find the line Faulting Module. That will be where problem is.

My legally licensed CS6 has stopped working and reverted to trial mode. I paid a bundle for this and don't care to pay more to keep the software I legally own. There seems to be no customer support for this anymore, what do I do?

My Illustrator CS3 & CS6 are stop working. The AI file which I created by Illustrator CS3. My Illustrator CS3 used to work fine, but recently it is stop working when I tried to save the AI file. The AI file is a package design which contain text and images. It can be opened and edited on my colleague's compute but not mine. Adobe Media Core CS6 has stopped working (Premiere Pro Family CS6)
I have recently upgraded my computer to better run Premiere and Encore but have now encountered the error "Adobe Media Core CS6 has stopped working". The program will then boot even after I choose either of the two options that say they should close the program. They both seem to run fine after getting past the error but I would rather not have to see it everytime and know that something is amis. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Quicktime like some other users have suggested but I think my problem may lie elsewhere. Can anyone help me out?
