  • IPS host blocking not happening in VLAN 1

    Hi
    I have IDSM2 module installed in 6500 core switch and configured in prismouscous mode. i have added interfaces of 6500 in IPS as blocking device and i can see all the vlan interfaces along with Vlan 1,
    When i test the attack, i can see the IPS action as a deny host entry in access-list across all the vlan except native vlan 1.
    Is there any exception for for native vlan? i would appreciate if some one can share experience!

  • Availibility check not happening after credit block is removed for order

    Hi All,
    When  we are removing the credit block on  a sales order through report RVKRED09, the availibility check is not performed again because the qty in sales order is not confirmed.
    As per my understanding when the report RVKRED09 is run, the sales order is called in background and the credit status is changed  and then subsequently, the user exit MV45AFZF is called. In this exit, the values in wa-ybuk-cmgst is compared against wa-xbuk-cmgst. if  i think wa-ybuk-cmgst is A and wa-xbuk-cmgst is B, then it means the credit blocked is removed and the return code is 8 which means availibility check is to be performed.
    However in our case availibility check is not happening since the values of wa-ybuk-cmgst and wa-xbuk-cmgst  are same which is B i..e the credit block is not removed...but however the report RVKRED09 shows that cedit status is changed.
    Something is happening somwhere  which is causing this. could any one guide. Also what is the program name which confirms the availibility check in sales order and also what is the program name  which changes the credit status  for a sales order in VBUK table.
    regards
    sachin

    Hi
    So as per your query , you have gone with the user exit in the program MV45AFZF , so check wheather any subprogram has been included where availability check wont happen.So just take the help of ABAP;er and then check wheather any program has been included related to availability check.

  • I use Safari as my browser. When on a site and I click on a PDF file I get a black screen and a notice that "Adobe Reader blocked for this website". However, this does not happen if I use Firefox.

    I use Safari as my browser. When on a site and I click on a PDF file I get a black screen and a notice that "Adobe Reader blocked for this website". However, this does not happen if I use Firefox.

    Back up all data before making any changes. Please take each of the following steps until the problem is resolved.
    Step 1
    If Adobe Reader or Acrobat is installed, and the problem is just that you can't print PDF's displayed in Safari, you may be able to print by moving the cursor to the the bottom edge of the page, somewhere near the middle. A black toolbar may appear under the cursor. Click the printer icon.
    Step 2
    There should be a setting in its preferences of the Adobe application such as Display PDF in Browser. I don't use those applications myself, so I can't be more precise. Deselect that setting, if it's selected.
    Step 3
    If you get a message such as ""Adobe Reader blocked for this website," then from the Safari menu bar, select
    Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Security
    and check the box marked
    Allow Plug-ins
    Then click
    Manage Website Settings...
    and make any required changes to the security settings for the Adobe PDF plugin.
    Step 4
    Triple-click anywhere in the line of text below on this page to select it, the copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C:
    /Library/Internet Plug-ins
    In the Finder, select
    Go ▹ Go to Folder
    from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-G. Paste into the text box that opens (command-V), then press return.
    From the folder that opens, move to the Trash any items that have "Adobe" or “PDF” in the name. You may be prompted for your login password. Then quit and relaunch Safari.
    Step 5
    The "Silverlight" web plugin distributed by Microsoft can interfere with PDF display in Safari, so you may need to remove it, if it's present. The same goes for a plugin called "iGetter," and perhaps others — I don't have a complete list. Don't remove Silverlight if you use the "Netflix" video-streaming service.
    Step 6
    Do as in Step 3 with this line:
    ~/Library/Internet Plug-ins
    If you don’t like the results of this procedure, restore the items from the backup you made before you started. Relaunch Safari.

  • Auto Source determination not happening

    Hi Guruz,
    I have a material assigned to a quota arrangement usage in material master - MRP 2 View.
    Source list maintained for the material/plant with 2 vendor codes and both releveant for MRP '1'
    Quota arrangement maintained with proper validity periods.
    But when i generate purchase requisitions via MRP, the source assignemnt is not happening. MRO generates PRs but the source of supply is blank. I have to assign the source either by ME57 or via 'assign source' tab in PR item details.
    I have maintained EVO parameter in my user id also.
    Not sure what I have missed. Please help!
    Regards
    Greg

    Hi,
    Please check following also -
    1) Whether the vendor is not blocked for purchasing
    2) If QM is activated & Delivery Release is required for the material, then check whether the Quality Info Record is maintained & the vendor is released for puruchase.
    3) The scheduled delivery dates are lying inside the validity period of the Quota Arrangement & Source List

  • Ever since upgrading to Mountain Lion, my AOL messages sometimes, but not always open with a blank page. If I open AOL in Firefox, the messages open fine.  This does not happen with any messages by any means, and it is not any type of certain message

    Ever since upgrading to Mountain Lion, my AOL messages sometimes, but not always open with a blank page. If I open AOL in Firefox, the messages open fine.  This does not happen with any messages by any means, and it is not any type of certain message. In fact, in the same screen I can often open an email from the same sender with email intact. This is weird. Sometimes I close the page and open a new page. Sometimes that works and sometimes it does not. It is a very annoying thing.

    Hi,
    When you start Messages fro the first time you are asked for an Apple ID
    When this is verified and entered it appears in Messages Menu > Preference > Accounts and is Enabled.
    The App should have also picked on on those iChat Accounst you had before.
    These should be Enabled if they were when you last used iChat.
    Exactly which "Accounts" are logged in can be seen in Message Menu > Accounts and will include the iMessage "Account" and Bonjour.
    In the Window menu you will see CMD +0 for the Messages window and CMD+1 for the "Buddies" window which is a combined list at this stage.
    Go to the Preferences > General Section and Untick the "Collect all accounts into one list".
    This will give you separate iChat type Buddy lists.
    You can check if that account/Buddy list is set to Invisible or if in the Preferences > Accounts > Security you have settings that will block some people from seeing you as On line.
    You are saying Buddies can see you as On Line which implies they are still sending to your AIM based Names (@Mac.com is a valid AIM Screen Name)
    I am not sure from your post if you are trying to iMessage their email IDs thinking they are Apple IDs and that they are using Messages as well.
    There is no Buddy list for iMessages side
    No-one can tell you are "On Line" until they have your details in the "To" spot in Messages with the correct iMessaged contact info (iPhone Number or Apple ID)
    Obviously an Apple ID can be an email or look like one.
    In some cases they are also valid AIM Screen Names as well.
    In the case or the @mac.com name you may have linked this Apple ID to iMessages as well.

  • When on facebook or sites with pictures, the pctures almost look like a negative except that it's green. this does NOT happen in IE

    while on facebook pictures look like negatives but green. almost as if they were ifrared but bright green. eyes, hair, items most of the picture is this bright green. this does not happen if i go to facebook using Internet Explorer. i have deleted firefox and reinstalled over and over but it keeps reoccurring. very frustrating!!

    That's strange, I haven't heard of that one! A standard diagnostic step is to try Firefox's Safe Mode to see whether it is caused by a custom setting or add-on.
    First, I recommend backing up your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Backing+up+your+information Backing up your information]. (You can copy your entire Firefox profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.)
    Next, restart Firefox in [http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode Safe Mode] using
    Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
    In the Safe Mode dialog, do not check any boxes, just click "Continue in Safe Mode."
    If the photos look right, the problem most likely is an add-on or custom setting. Do you have any add-ons that modify or block images, ads, or Flash?

  • Traceroute not happening to ACE from Oracle Server

    Hi,
    Our ACE is configured in One-ARM Mode. I have Oracle Serverfarm been loadbalanced by ACE from where traceroute to ACE is not happening.
    Oracle Server in VLAN 10 with Gateway configured at Core Switch: 10.10.10.21
    VLAN 60: 10.10.60.21 in Core switch & ACE ip: 10.10.60.1
    If from ACE i doa traceroute at one of the Oracle DB servers (10.10.10.5 & 10.10.10.6) it's going nicely. But sitting at Oracle DB servers if i do trace to ACE IP: 10.10.60.1 it gets dropped at Core switch: 10.10.10.21
    This probem is not happening from any other Windows machines....
    Can someone highlight....
    Attached the ACE config...

    some machine use icmp to do traceroute and others use udp.
    Your oracle machine might be using udp and your core switch as a security acl to block this udp traffic.

    Hi, I got the xws-security/samples/simple application
    working successfully with my own keystores. I have 2
    questions regarding this sample application.
    1) When running the application with the
    encrypt-server.xml and encrypt-client.xml
    configuration, why is it necessary to import the
    client's certificate into the server's truststore and
    the server's certificate into client's truststore when
    their certificates have already been signed by a
    trusted root CA (e.g. Verisign), whose certificate is
    in both truststores? Shouldn't their certificates
    containing their public keys get automatically
    exchanged during the connection request? It's a pain
    to publish a web service and expect a manual public
    certificate import for each client wanting to use the
    service.Certificates are sent only when the keyReferenceType is "Direct" which is the default. It's possible that our code is checking the certificate sent with one found in the KeyStore, but a quick scan of the code doesn't show it. If that's what's happening it's a bug. All of the other key reference strategies send only a referece to the sender's certificate in which case the reciever must have a copy of that certificate in its keystore.
    2) I use Tomcat to run the sample application and did
    set up the SSL connector to point to the keystores.
    When the client connects to the server, it uses a
    http endpoint not https. I'm aware that htpps is
    needed for SSL support but not clear on where does
    https come into play during the client's
    request/server's response process.We share the SSL keystore so that certificates don't have to be stored in more than one place. The functionality of XWS-Security and SSL is logically the same so it make sense to use the same keystore. XWS-Security operates completely separately from the transport and never knows whether HTTPS is in use or not.

    for every encrypted data there will be an corresponding decrypted data.........even with the different key.....it shud produce some decrypted bytes.(even diff from plain text)......naa.....i.e it should produce the wrong plain text.......The encyption process -
    cleartext (adding padding) padded cleartext (encrypting) ciphertext.
    The decryption process -
    ciphertext (decrypting) padded cleartext (remove padding) cleartext.
    Even though it would be gibberish when the wrong key is used, you seem to want access to the 'padded cleartext' but using your code you do not have access to it. You could emulate the PBE process and get access to the 'padded cleartext' but what would be the point. You would just have gibberish when using the wrong key.
    but y the exception......
    ok ......and also tell me y this BPE is actually happens and how to avoid that when we use some padding.....
    plz tell me the reason.............Start by reading "Applied Cryptography"by Bruce Schneier and then "Practical Cryptography" by Ferguson and Schneier.

    so finally .........
    u r saying that i need to catch the BPE and should inform client that he entered wrong password........
    so i have to end up in the second step itself.....
    is there any other way to perfom this one?......if there, plz let me know....if any alternative.....As I said earlier, the alternative is to emulate the PBE process yourself but what would be the point. You would just end up with gibberish if you use the wrong password.
    P.S. You won't always get a bad padding exception if you use the wrong password. About 1in 256 you will just get gibberish as the result without the exception.
    P.P.S. Your keyboard seems to have a problem with it's '.' key. In your place I would get it fixed because the perpetual '......' annoys the hell out of many people who respond to these forums.
    P.P.P.S. Your 'caps' key seems to be intermittently broken. Please get if fixed.
    P.P.P.P.S. You should turn off your computer's SMS mode. Using 'u' instead of 'you' makes your posts very difficult to read and it annoys the hell out of many people who respond to these forums.

  • Given final block not properly padded

    I am working on an application that sends encrypted data over the network using Blowfish. I developed a simple server and client to test and I getting this error when I try to decrypt the cypher in the server. Here is what I do:
    This happens on the client side:
    I encrypt my message with this method
    public byte[] encryptedMessage() throws Exception{
            KeyGenerator keyGenerator = KeyGenerator.getInstance("Blowfish");
            keyGenerator.init(128);
            Key key = keyGenerator.generateKey();
            Cipher cipher = Cipher.getInstance("Blowfish/ECB/PKCS5Padding");
            cipher.init(Cipher.ENCRYPT_MODE, key);
            byte[] plaintext = getMessage().getBytes("UTF8");
            byte[] ciphertext = cipher.doFinal(plaintext);
            return ciphertext;
        }Then send it to the server like this:
    //get my cypher from the method shown before
    cipher = mc.encryptedMessage();
    //put the cypher in this simple object
    InformationShared cipherToSend = new InformationShared(cipher.length);
    cipherToSend.setMessage(cipher);
    //Send it accross through the network
    Socket socket =  new Socket("127.0.0.1",8085);
    ObjectOutputStream out = new ObjectOutputStream(socket.getOutputStream());
    out.writeObject(cipherToSend);This is what happens in the server side:
    //Get the incoming object
    ObjectInputStream in = new ObjectInputStream( incoming.getInputStream() );
    //downcast the object
    InformationShared cipherIn = (InformationShared)in.readObject();
    //decypher the message  in the decypher method
    String result = decypher(cipherIn.getMessage());
    //This is the decipher method
    public String decypher(byte cipherIn[]) throws Exception{
               KeyGenerator keyGenerator = KeyGenerator.getInstance("Blowfish");
               keyGenerator.init(128);     // need to initialize with the keysize

  • "Given final block not properly padded" when using wrong secretKey

    Hello guys, I browsed the questions in this forum regarding my problem, but somehow couldn't find a solution to this.
    I generated two SecretKey key1 and key2. Now I'm using the Cipher class to encrypt a message to key1. If I try to decrypt it with key1, everything works fine. But if I try key2 I get the "Given final block not properly padded"-message in my exception backtrace instead of just unreadable stuff, which I excepted (using the wrong key). This happens regardless of the symetric algorithm I use.
    Can you help me?
    Thanks,
    Sebastian

    Most symmetric algorithms work on data of a given block-size. If your data isn't a multiple of that size, it's padded. This removes a clue that a cryptanalyst can use to try and break your encryption. At decrypt time, the Cipher expects to see padding-related bits at the end of the stream, so it knows how many pad-bits were stuck on to begin with. When the end of the stream doesn't match the expected padding-protocol, you get the exception noted.
    Now - if you decode with the wrong key, you get junk. The chances of that junk ending with a valid padding-indicator is...small. So you're more likely to see "BadPadding" than a valid (if incorrect) plaintext.
    You could use "NoPadding" on both ends, and do your own manipulation of the bit-stream to make the Cipher happy. Then, you wouldn't get BadPadding exceptions. But you'd have to write some pretty fiddly code on each end.
    Anybody else want to double-check me on this? I'm away from my books at the moment. Floersh? Euxx?
    Good luck,
    Grant

  • Restart fixes BadPaddingException: Given final block not properly padded ??

    (I have seen quite a few posts on this and other forums regarding BadPaddingExceptions, however all of them seem to be easily reproducible. This one is random and has been impossible for us to reproduce in a test environment.)
    Anyone have any idea why we might encounter this problem during decryption (e.g cipher.doFinal(<base64 encoded byte[]>) ) , but restarting the JVM clears it up?
    Once it starts happening, all decryption fails with "BadPaddingException: Given final block not properly padded"
    and once we restart the JVM, all is well again.
    We are currently running j2sdk1.4.2_04 and are using PBEWithMD5AndDES.
    Any help is much appreciated,
    -Marc

    I have plenty of ideas for what is wrong but why should I enumerate them. It would be much quicker if you posted (using [code] tags) your encryption and decryption code.

  • Facebook photo albums display fine but when I click on an individual picture in the album only the caption displays. (does not happen when I use AOL as my browser)

    In Facebook, when I click on any individual photo it will not display. Everything, including the caption, displays fine but not the picture itself. If I use AOL as my browser this does not happen, only on Firefox.

    Check the image exceptions: Tools > Options > Content: Load Images: Exceptions - See [[Options window - Content panel]]
    A way to see which images are blocked is to click the favicon (<i>Site Identification</i> icon) on the left side of the location bar.<br />
    A click on the "More Information" button will open the Security tab of the "Page Info" window (also accessible via "Tools > Page Info").<br />
    Open the <i>Media</i> tab of the "Page Info" window.<br />
    Select the first image and scroll down though the list with the Down arrow key.<br />
    If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "<i>Block Images from...</i>" then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.<br />

  • Dunning not happening

    Hi,
    My document details is like this :-
    Doc date : 17 Jan 2009
    Payment terms : Not maintained
    Due Date : Due immediate since there is no payment term
    Dunning interval : 30 Days
    Dunning date : 17 Jan 2009
    However the dunning list is not including the above document. May i know why?

    Hi Raja,
    There are n number of reasons, ensure that dunning procedure is assigned to customer master, you can check the current dunning level from customer master may be dunning you are carrying already done.see there is no dunning block. also there could be minimum amount set for dunning in the case invoice is of lower amount dunning will not happen. The holiday calander should also be checked.
    Afrer dunning check the spool, it may carry the reason.
    Hope this helps you.
    Regards
    Bharat
