Im getting tired of this (Audigy LS Probl

I recently bought an Audigy LS for my computer, as I needed a 5. sound card for the speakers I bought the day before. Anyways, I get everything installed and set up, and go to play Doom III, and.... it freezes. along with Colin McRae Rally 4. And Far Cry. And unreal Tournament. And just about ANYTHING I do game-related. So I got the updated drivers that CLAIM to fix this, and.... they do nothing. Same games, same freezing problem. Mind you this NEVER happened with any game ever before on this computer, until I installed the sound card. The problem seems to only happen with games that feature EAX as well, as The Sims 2 is about the only game I can play that will not freeze either, as it has no surround support, AFAIK. So, in desperation, last week I sent an e-mail to the creative support team about the matter, and they told me it might be a IRQ conflict, and to try and move the card to another PCI slot. So I move my card to the last PCI slot (A move recommened by alot of people I have seen in various other forums) and.... still Freezing. I know the problem lies with the sound card, and the only two things I haven't tried are:
.) Setting the Assign IRQ to VGA in the BIOS (recommended in the e-mail); my mobo BIOS doesn't have this option, I have looked.
2.) Setting sound acceleration to the last bar on the left (I've done it with the other three spots, and it still freezes). The reason I dont want to do this is simple: it would defeat the purpose of having the card in the first place!
I am getting tired of all the problems I have been having with this card, and would appriciate ANY help at all in solving this problem. I would greatly appriciate it. (maybe.... some updated drivers....too?)

That would be because ypour problem seems to be something else then what the drivers fix. You have problems in every game or anything game related as you said. This means it is rather a problem with DirectSound3D acceleration. I would suggest you reinstall DirectX. The best would be to get DirectX9.0c to be on the latest, but if you only have 9.0b that`s fine as well.
Also, if your onboard sound is disabled, that`s fine. Just make sure you boot up Windows in Safe Mode and uninstall the drivers for onboard sound if you stil have them there.

After updating to iOS6, I lost all sound for apps like YouTube, Netflix, games, and even notifications. The only time sound worked was during a phone call or when the head set was plugged in.
I did a full back up and restore- sound restored but only for a day before the problem returned.
Called Apple Support and was advised to do another restore, but this time restore it as NEW first, then do the restore from back up.
Seemed to do the trick.
Here are the instructions of what I was given- hopefully this will help you too:

Once you back up your device you will want to restore it.
You will need to have iTunes open on your computer screen.
Please turn your iPhone off.

Please follow the prompts and restore device as NEW.
once the restore is done you will have to set up the device and test the sound.
If it works you will then need to restore the device from the back up to restore your user settings.

Ideadpad Y410P losing memory as left on, getting tired of this

So, back about a year ago I bought an ideapad y410P after reading good reviews about it. All was going well until about, oh, 7 months ago. My laptop almost seems to...lose memory as it's left on, if that's possible.
What I mean by this is like this, 160 MB is a very small percent of my memory directly after I turn on my computer. But 6 hours later, 160 MB is 10% of my memory. And it just gets higher as my computer is left on.
I've already determined it's not a virus, and I've tried everything that I know how to do.
I'm getting sick of tired of not being able to run a game that's "ideal specs" are an i5 and 4GB ram, when I have an i7 and 8 GB ram.
I have screenshots of the problems in action that I can attach, but they don't show much. They just show programs that use very small amounts of 8GB, but for some reason, take up 10% of my CPU after being left on for 6 hours. They take up nothing directly after startup.
I'm very unhappy with having to restart my computer every 6 hours or hit a blue screen and I need some assitance. Thank you

Which processes in particular? Usually it's some poorly written application (or addon to some application) that has a memory leak or what not.

Im realy getting tired of this.Apple tv2 keeps loosing my password.

About every 3 or 4 days I have to re-enter my password because apple tv2 keeps forgetting it even after I tell it to remember it.This is becoming very annoying as my password is quite long.Ever since version 4.3 this has happened,never before.All of my other devices have no problem remembering passwords just this little black box.Thanks apple.My logitec keyboard used to work with itunes but after the latest update that dont work anymore either,once again thanks apple.I would rather wait longer for an update that works than get one fast that dont work right.To sum things up I have let apple know about this but have received no responce back what so ever.I have also re-downloaded the new software version 4.3 because the movie section went missing all on its own,nice and still have problems.Funny thing is I own a Thomas Edison gramaphone that is over 100 years old and it still works just like it was new,I think the folks at apple could learn a thing or two from him.So my question is has anybody had this problem and is there a fix for it.Like I said I contacted apple and got no responce so that option is out for me.Having spent thousands of dollars on apple products over the years I am rapidly loosing faith in the company,theyre happy to take my money then leave me high and dry.Thanks apple.

Thanks for the reply vazandrew,the password is my itunes store one.Im not sure how it could be a network issue because it only started after the latest update.Also my son has the exact same router and setup as me and he has not had any issues,he lives next door and we are on the same internet provider.His password is always rememberd and mine is only rememberd for a few days then it looses it.I have also downloaded the latest firmware update for my mouse and keyboard and that has not helped either.I wish apple would do more testing before releasing theyre updates.I guess its time to change my password to something with as few characters as possable since I have to keep entering it.Thanks again .......Mike

I have a problem ...... My problem is when I install Oracle 9 Enterprise edition On this machine everything is fine but sometimes after couple times rebooting when i want to open database system give me the Following Error :

To resolve this problem i did this . I update the latest firmware for all controllers and even firmware for hardrives . i tested system with different diagnostics programs , everything is fine i never get crashed even one time in windows . I really don't know what to do . Is there any problem with RAID 1 and Oracle 9 on windows ? or is there any patch which i should download and install ? some times it work fine and then after couple times of shut down and restart this happen .

You can do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer. 
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. 
All these programs have free versions.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

I am getting tired of this

When I try and use my apple TV, half of the time, it won't connect to my iTunes. I get the menus, but no content. If I quit and re-enter iTunes, it works again. Home sharing is enabled, and my network is functioning properly for internet and E-mail and Airport. What could be wrong?

Is your computer set to sleep or eco-friendly power settings set to spin down hard drives? If so try with both disabled to see if it is the cause.
If AppleTV requests a media list from itunes it may well be talking to AppleTV but if hard drives are spun down there may be a several second lag - this might have a 'timeout' effect on AppleTV which could assume there's no media list available at this time. When you try again the drives have spun up or the computer has woken from sleep.
Airport Extreme routers can keep the 'communication' alive even if the computer is sleeping so AppleTV thinks computer is awake when it isn't (though it should wake the computer).

I'm getting tired of this

This has been happening CONSTANTLY and nothing has helped. When listening to my Nano it will just randomly pause. This -really- seems to be somehow connected to the headphone jack, and the iPod's ability to pause when the headphones get disconnected because any slight movement in the right way seems to make it pause.
I returned this to the store I bought it from to see if they could fix it, but they were too stupid to even recreate my problem. What can I do?!

Yea, I figured I'd get flamed for that (btw, that four letter word isn't the reall bad one ). Sorry, it's just frustrating trying to get something fixed that I cannot fix myself.
I'm using the original headphones that came with the iPod. I'm also using a Belkin flip-open case with it, but the case doesn't ever touch the scroll wheel when I have it closed (also this problem occurs when the case is open and there is NOTHING touching the scroll wheel).
I've tried using other headphones just in case but the problem would still happen. If it matters, the base of the headphones are a little tweaked from wrapping them around the case.
I hope any of this info helps, i du want my iPod to be sick all the time

I've had this mp3 player for somewhat under a year {Got it June 5, 2007}, and it's been pretty decent, handling drops, and even having foreign objects inside of it. However, it's had the same problem since I got it, when it was in pristine, just-out-of-the-box condition. It locks up.
Normally, this wouldn't be a problem. I'd just hit the reset button and get on with my life. However, a few months ago I accidentally punched out the reset button {due to the player having not turned on and me starting to freak out} and wound up getting some pencil lead stuck in the player. {The button and lead are still in it, yet it's worked flawlessly. Amazing.}
However, today I tried to transfer some songs from my computer to my player. I had it hooked up to my laptop via a USB hub {I know, it's not recommended, but I did this exact same thing with the exact same setup yesterday, and it worked perfectly fine without a problem}. I removed it after transferring, only to find that the screen was dark and the two buttons on the front were lit up, and the player was unresponsi've. Typical symptoms of it being locked up.
Like I said, I'd normally just hit the reset button and get on with my life. But the reset button has passed to tech heaven, and now I must let the player battery drain and recharge it, which would take an exorbitant amout of time, seeing as I don't even have the backlight of the screen to help drain. So I appeal to you of the forum. Does anyone have any help, or is my player a hopeless brick for the next few hours?

To update the situation:
I let the battery drain, then gave it a full charge with the desktop. I then hooked it up to my laptop again, to transfer more songs. It locked up again, and this time there are no lights at all, therefore the battery cannot drain.
I need an immediate solution. I'm afraid sending it to Creative to have it serviced would take too much time. My dad suggested opening up the case and removing the battery to reset it, but I'm lost as to how to do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. ?

Do you have either Roboform (version 7.6.1 or older ?) or Trusteer Rapport extension?. As both have been known to cause crashes upon Firefox startup.
Also you could try Firefox 8.0.1 from mozilla.com (8.0 to 8.0.1 only being served to Mac users).

OMG I'm getting sick of this Java disk permission problem!

I have Snow Leopard in my 2006 Intel 2.0 Duo Mac. I see many people writing about the same problem for months now. On my computer I totally reinstalled eveything a couple months ago. Many times I can not shut down and then tonight I couldn't get to my iMovies or into Photoshop. Every time this happens I use disk utilities and repair permissions. It comes up with lots of Java stuff needing repairs. After the repair permissions is over it works okay again until a couple of daysfrom and and here we go again. geeeeeeeeze! I'm getting tired of this. I have read many a posts regarding this and I'm wondering will this problem ever be fixed?
I wish I had the money to buy a new computer but I don't. If it's because of my old computer then I wish Apple would just let me know that fact. Anyone know of any fixes?

Repairing permissions won't solve this problem. The information you see when you verify or repair permissions aren't errors that need repairing, they're just messages.
If you see anything SUID related when verifying permissions, that can be ignored > Mac OS X: Disk Utility's Repair Disk Permissions messages that you can safely ignore
If you can't shut down your Mac, you may have one or more apps still running. If necessary, you can "force quit" apps. Open the Activity Monitor app located in /Applications/Utilities. How much free space on the startup disk? Right or control click the MacintoshHD icon. Click Get Info. In the Get Info window you will see Capacity and Available. Make sure there's a minimum of 15% free disk space.

This issue can be caused by the presence of leftover files in the Firefox program folder (defaults\pref) like a file firefox.js that overrides the update URL with a wrong link.
Do a clean reinstall and be sure to remove the Firefox program folder.

Firefox now always stores the old session, and you can access it by going to the History menu and selecting "Restore Previous Session"
If you want Firefox to display the message to save the session, it can be turned back on by changing some preferences.
