My macbook(2008) has been working well until a few hours ago. I tried plugging it in to several outlets but the light stays green no matter what, It will not charge on any outlet. Also it will not start when it is unplugged when my battery is at 50%. It also will shut down immediately if I unplug it from the charger, even though it says it isnt being charged by it. Can anyone help with this problem?
So you have the 13" aluminum notebook that just says "MacBook" on the display, correct?

I personally would go through OWC - they're a highly-recommended third party for these kinds of parts and their batteries work just as well as Apple's.

hi my itunes crashes everytime i try to excess the itunes store,it seems to work fine until that point,ive uninstalled and reinstalled itunes and also tried it with my fire wall off but all to no avail. i am using a new computer which isnt authorized yet if that makes any difference. any help would be greatly appreciated
Windows 8 or Windows RT? iTunes won't run on Windows RT. It should run on Windows 8. Use the appropriate installer from an account with administrator privileges.

But I could not set it up. Cause it kept asking for the previous owner id. And I now don't have the previous owner number. Is there a way that I could set up Without his ID?

They definitely have some bugs with the new web pages. I've had the same flicker screen, actually its caught in on a logon loop in my case, and perhaps yours. CLEAR YOUR BROWSER CACHE, and try logon again.

For a long time, years, the old MacBook pro ceased entering the song titles. This is very time consuming for me, so I finally investigated a bit further.
I discovered how to enter the track titles onto my newer MacBook Pro, and was so pleased! But when I tried to do the same with the other laptop, it failed.
What I did, basically, was what the Apple Help suggested--choose iTunes General Preferences, etc.etc. And yes, I did upgrade the old laptop to the newest iTunes version.
Am I just wasting my time here? Is there some reason why an older Mac Pro will not do what the newer one will, with regard to iTunes?
My older laptop is a 2.6 GHz Core Duo; it has 36 GB of "memory available." The newer one a 2.3 GHz Intel Core i7. It has 284 GB of memory available.
Both are using the same version of Snow Leopard--10.6.8.I have a very old (by computer standards) MacBook Pro, and a newer one. If you're positive the information is correct, ask the issuing bank why the transaction is being rejected.
You're getting this error because the store can not authorize the card with your bank. -

I guess you could try but I don't believe Apple can help with activation lock issues. They may, however, be able to determine if the Apple ID belongs to one of you and reset the password for you if you can prove your identity.
You might want to try calling Apple by going to https://expresslane.apple.com; click 'More Products and Services, then 'Apple ID'. In the next page select 'Other Apple ID Topics' then 'Lost or forgotten Apple ID password'. Perhaps they can help determine if it's your ID and reset the password for you (and they probably have more expertise in doing this than the Apple store). -
I have been using an app cheat with friends with my iPad for a long time. One day it just stopped reading the screen shot. I have tried deleting a few times and starting over. It works on my iPhone perfectly fine. Please help !!!!!!! Thank you

Anyway here's what I did:
I'd wrote an email to Apple America, even if I'd purchased the item in Europe and the US support usually should not be involved in any European case.
They wrote me back that a European office will have call me in 48 hours.
After a couple of days I've received a call and a new iPod is coming from US...
Don't ask me if I can find any kind of logic behind it, but at least I can state that the US support has been decisive.
