IMac won't recognize 2nd installation disc for Creative Suite 5.5 Prod Premium

Can someone help me? I bought Adobe Creative Suites 5.5 ProductionPremuim and I'm having trouble. I entered the serial number and product code and all that. It starts to install, and the first Application 1 disc installs just fine, but when it spits it out and asks for the Application 2 disc, it doesn't recognize it and keeps asking me to put in the Application 2 disc.
I know it is not a hardware iMac issue because the drive was just replaced last month, and other CDs work just fine. Does anyone know what the problem might be? Do I need a new Application 2 disc, or am I doing something wrong? Or should I just bypass it altogether and try to download it using the same serial number?

Did you ever install Acrobat? It is not installed automatically with CS, but requires an extra installation step.

Need replacement disc for Creative Suite CS3 Design Standard

My hard drive on my MacBook Pro is crapping out on me and refuses to let me make a full bootable backup so I can replace the disk. Problem is that I've foolishly managed to lose my physical disks for Creative Suite CS3 Design Standard so I can't do a reinstall. Can anyone on the forum help? Thanks in advance.

If you still have your serial number somewhere, you may call Adobe Tech Support and provide them with the details that you have. If you are really nice to them, they may send you a replacement disc. Good Luck.

Step 3: Insert CS5 disc and copy its contents to the desktop.
Step 4: Go To “Desktop\<<CS5 Folder Name>>\payloads\” and then Go To each folder that starts from “Microsoft_VC80” and install them one by one.
Step 5: Right click on the setup.exe and "Run as Administrator"

i tried all the thinks listed and uninstalled then reinstalled creative suite 5.5 design premium and yet again this showed up at the end please help it mean nothing to me help!

I want to obtain my serial number for Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium. I have the product code but have lost other documentation.

A few months ago i was in the same position, having to re-install Creative Suite on a new laptop. For some reason it was very easy, but I can't remember how it was done. I don't want to have to contact my institution for proof of status again, and wait several days to get a response. I am on a deadline for something before then. Any advice gratefully received.

Imac won't recognize windows 7 disc during bootcamp assistant

The disc is brand new out of the box (Real version not a burned ISO). It runs for a second or not at all then ejects the disc. The optical drive works fine, there was another disc in there that it attached to just fine before. Everything else checks out. What else can I try.

Update: I've successfully installed Windows by re-burning my Windows .iso image at 4x. The install went smoothly, but Windows is now unable to boot. After installing and going through its series of reboots, then fails to boot after restarting (after given the option to select what method of updating you want Windows to use).
This is some of the stuff Windows says, on a black screen with white text, when the boot fails:

I've dug through various archived forum postings in the programming bowels of the internet. Apparently there was/has been/is a known issue in which Macs refuse to boot Windows when the Mac in question has a 2TB hard drive. This is due to some GRUB issue or something.
I have no idea what to do. I need Windows, and I'm quite sure no Genius appointment will help me solve this problem. So much for a Mac seamlessly running Windows via Boot Camp.

Can I change the Installation disc for Creative Cloud - SSD drive is full

I have got a new imac with a 255GB SSD drive and a 2TB Data drive - I have half downloaded my Creative Cloud apps, and the SSD drive is full.
Can and how do I change the target drive to my empty Data drive to complete the installation

Yes you can solve this issue by placing the applications on a other drive by selecting a custom installation location.
Click at the right top in the Adobe Application Manager after your user name, and select preferences
Select a alternate installation location.
Better: make some space on your SSD, performance of the application / loading time is increased when placing on a SSD.
Data storage / scratchdisks can be configured on the 2TD data drive.

Installation issues for Creative Suite 5

I have a new laptop and I am re-installing my software. For some reason, when it asks me to type in my serial number, it won't let me type in any letters. It only accepts numbers.

CS5 serial number is not alphanumeric. It consists only numbers.
Please make sure you are using the correct serial number meant for the product.

Activation Failure for Creative Suite 5.5 Web Premium Subscription

Hi,
Signed up for the subscription model a week ago and worked fine without issue; came in to work on Monday and was asked to activate photoshop; it failed but let me continue. Tried loading up photoshop again today but now it says can't continue without activating.
Contacted customer support who took all of my details only to come to the conclusion that it was a technical issue and I had to ring technical support.
Rung technical support and after a long conversation explaining the issue; them taking over and sharing my sceren came to the conclusion that even though I can't "ping activate.adobe.com" that I should re install the entire suite.
I uninstalled the suite using the built in uninstaller. restarted. and then re installed. First use works fine; second use presents the activation error. Giving me the same error code before "194:104".
I downloaded the Adobe support application which appears to have just read a bunch of log files and shows the same 194:104 error appearing throughout; trying to click on further details for any of these items just gives a 404 error.
I uninstalled a further time (again using the proper uninstaller), restarted and re installed and fired up flash; let me in the first time and I went through to Help and clicked "Deactivate" and deactivated the entire suite; restarted flash and this time selected the 30 day trial. Yay. finally somthing that works!! After testing all the apps fire up again; I closed them all down and opened flash again this time entering my serial number.
Again I got the activation failed (194:104) error and now I can't open anything again -- not even to de activate it;
Still pinging "activate.adobe.com" or the "activate.wip4.adobe.com" results in a request timed out.
I've tried turning off the firewall in OSX and disabling other network filtering tools, no change.
I've tried logging in as a fresh user and still the same issue.
Also tried booting into Safe mode to ensure nothing else was running and still get the same activation error and still no reply from activate.adobe.com
So far; my only course of action is to uninstall again and select 30 day trial to avoid losing a full days work...
Doncha just love DRM...

After 3 weeks I find it hilarious that something as simple as activation has taken this long to get to the point where _somebody_ is actually looking at it; The countless hours I've wasted talking to support asking me to uninstall, re install, re download, re dowload again, uninstall, reinstall, on hold etc etc has been absoltely rediculous. I said right from the first conversation "I've tried this on two completely seperate machine and it does the same thing, I think there's a problem with your server" and nobody listened until now; And even then the log files went missing, another week passed, then nothing again... not impressed with support at all!
I just hope this can be resolved within the next couple of days as my trial period is now coming to an end and I'll not only be left with something I can't use but also paying for something I can't use either. Apparently I can't even cancel my subscription or else I won't be able to sign up again for the discounted yearly rate! Talk about holding me over a barrel...
Very disapointed I couldn't have just gotten a new serial number or new account like I'd asked for when I first reported this and each and every time I was on the support calls; Not sure why I have to be the "guinnie pig" in sorting out this issue... an issue regarding basic activation; and companies wonder why we hate DRM; this is why. because when there's an issue the customer ends up being the one who loses out.
Not trying to make this personal in any way; just a bit disgraced at a company as big as Adobe can fail so mierably at such a simple issue and take soooo long to fix it.

A little more description would help. What exactly do you mean by Rejects the disc? Does the DVD drive eject the disc shortly after inserting it?
Does the Office installer say something, like can't install on this Mac?
If the Office disc is ejected shortly after insertion try cleaning the disc. Try another DVD disc of any type to see if it is the Office DVD or if the drive ejects all discs.
If it ejects all DVD or CD discs then the drive is bad and you ned to Return your new Mac fro a Full Refund and then buy another NEW unit.

Nothing shows up in Finder as far as a Device, and I have a message telling me to "Insert a blank disc to begin" and that I will need a disc with at least "47.6 MB"--it's only 18 photos, and I need to burn them for a parent of a student (I'm a teacher). I have tried several different discs, so it's not the actual CD or DVD.

Create a new folder. Place the photos in that.
From the Finder File menu choose New Burn Folder. That will appear on your desktop. Place the folder of photos you created into that.
Now open Disk Utility and you will see that Burn Folder listed. Choose Burn from the menu.
