I want to be able to place my cursor over an image in my Dreamweaver website and have a text box appear. Is this possible?

How do I view captcha/image verification images/text boxes, since I can't even though java/javascript is enabled

I've been using the latest version of FireFox since it was last updated. The captcha/image verification thing that I have been unable to view is one located on FanFiction.Net's login page under the query 'Are you human?'. Its become quite a bother and has been hindering myself from completing my daily routine.
I have enabled my java/javascript in the tools>options as well as in the add-ons. I also have the latest version java/javascript, yet nothing happened. I have yet to find a solution in the online forums or blogs for my problem.
I use Windows XP with its latest service pack (3).
Even the version before the latest one has the same problem for me.

I just came across a captcha on text.vzw.com that wouldn't work, even after trying all the various suggestions that I've come across.
What finally worked for me (I'm using FireFox 6.0.2 on top of Windows XP Professional), was allowing popups on that site and allowing session cookies. I think it's the session cookie that finally did it. If you keep your security tight, you can remove the session cookie after you finish what you're doing.

Lagging when rolling over objects, text boxes, images in indesign CS5

I just installed CS5 suite onto my new upgraded machine. In InDesign, whenever I roll the cursor over and object, image, text box, there is about a 1-2 second lag in the cursor, almost like my system freezes as Indesign differentiates between the bounding boxes. My system is brand new and exceeds all system requiremnts for running CS5. Photoshop renders 3D lightning fast and I have encountered no other issues in any of the other Apps so far. Indesing itself runs fine until there are multiple frames on a page at which point just moving the pointer from one side of the screen to the other results in choppin movements and lag. Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Set your Live Screen Drawing preference to delayed. Does that help?

When converting word doc to pdf, my images with text only show the background color of the text box.

I have a word doc that I am trying to conver to pdf. I have jpegs with text boxes on top of them on one page. It looks great on the screen but after I convert to pdf, the text boxes only have half the text, the first half of the text box is just white - the background color. If I take the background color out of the text box, the text converts over fine but I need the background color.
I have tried many things here on the print settings, standard, high quality print, unchecking the compression on the images. Any help?

Rich text box used in Infopath Form not displaying option to get images from Computer

Hello,
We have used "Rich text box" in Infopath Form which is not displaying option to get images from Computer.
Options available are : From Address, From SharePoint
But if we Rich text box in list, then it works fine with "From Computer" option.
can you please help me out to get this option.

Hi,
From your description, there is no “From Computer” option to get images with rich text box in InfoPath form.
Per my knowledge, by design there are “From Address” and “From SharePoint” options without “From Computer” option in rich text box in InfoPath form. As a workaround, you can develop a custom InfoPath Rich Text box to do it.
About developing a custom InfoPath control, I suggest you create a new thread on the forum “Visual Studio Tools for Office”, more experts will assist you with InfoPath development.

The curser includes a text box from a previous image or link when the curser is positioned on the side of the page. i click and it goes away but only to return again on the next launched page. how do i get rid of this?

A number of extensions can cause that problem, you'll need to do a little troubleshooting to find out which extension is causing that to happen for you.

Is there a way to set an image as a background after i've already gotten my text boxes perfected?

Sorry, I know the title question is a little confusing so I'll try to better explain. I am brand new to adobe programs, so there may or may not be a very simple solution/way to do this that I don't know about because to be honest I don't know much.
I'm using indesign to create a poster presentation for a research symposium, because quite frankly I think all of the power point templates really suck. At first I was just going to work with a basic color scheme, so when I started creating my document the background is just plain white with many grey text boxes as shown below.
Im obviously still tinkering, but I found an image that I'd like to set as the back ground basically under all of these grey text boxes, so that I can make some semi transparent that way you can see this image. How do I go about doing this? Do I have to just start over with the image laid down first and then put my text boxes back over it? If so, is there a simple way to do this? Because it took me AGES to manually configure the text to wrap around my little pig friend there and I would be so bummed if I had to do it again

Next time, you can use the Text Wrap function, so you don't need to manually wrap the text.

How do I drag an image or text box to the "workspace" off of my working file but where I can still see the image and text box for future use?

When I drag the item off of the trifold that I am creating, it just disappears but I still want to use it. I just need to move it out of the way to modify other portions of the document.

Add another page below the current one to use as a storage area. You can't use the grey area around the page for storing items you want to use later.
Go to the Pages Menu>Provide Pages Feedback if you would like to request this feature be added in future versions.

is it possible to add a text box/caption to an image in Aperture? (I do NOT have photoshop)

Do you want to write it directly onto the image? Then install and use the free BorderFX plug-in for Aperture. It will let you write text annotations directly onto the image or onto a border.

How can I add an image to my pop up text box built in Fireworks?

I have already built my page (a map) with all the pop up text boxes in Fireworks and imported them into my Dreamweaver page, but I would like to add an image in that same pop up box as well as the text. I tried going back to Fireworks and editing the pop up box, but there is no option for adding an image alongside the text. Is there a way I can go into the code and add the image? This is a line of code for one of the pop up boxes:

If you have more than one of these, then I would add a class rule to your css style sheet
.fltleft     {
     float:left;
}.fltright     {
     float:right;
Then add this rule to your image.

This will position your image to the left in the container. You can then add the fltright in the same way.

Text Boxes and Lines on Full Screen Images?

In iBooks Author I'm trying to create images with text boxes and lines overlayed on top of the images (I don't like the interactive image widget, I want just text with no gray box and a single line of text, no need for title and description, also don't need the zoom capability on each label). I can do this fine in a basic, two column layout but when I tap on an image within a figure to see it full screen on the iPad I want the text and lines to also come full screen. Any ideas? I seemed to have a solution by enabling placeholder text authoring but that's proven inconsistent.

How do you select an image that is in a text box?

Hi There, I am trying to select the image which is inside of the text box. Since I upgraded to Yosemite, I cannot figure out how to do this. If I click and drag the mouse over it, I can select both the text box and the image, but I only want to select the image. Thank you so much!

Pages v5.2.2 on Mavericks, and v5.5.1 on Yosemite do not give you keyboard or pointer access to the image in a Text Box. There is no alignment or distribution control on the image either. No notion of background/foreground. The Text Box really just acts as a viewport for the image. If the image is in the correct aspect ratio, you can fill the Text Box with the image, otherwise it will clip the image.

Image on top of text box issue

I'm attempting to create my own message window that will appear when a text box is full. I have script in the "full" section of the text box that makes the presence of the image and a few text boxes visible when full. In design view, I have placed the image on top of the text box. However, during testing, when the text box is full, the image appears but the text from the text box below also appears on top of the image. I have tried to setFocus to the image as well, but this didn't help.
What's odd is that if I navigate to a different page and then navigate back, the image appears correctly.

I am importing an image without a background and when it prints, you can see where the image has been placed over the text box. How can I prevent this to allow it to look natural?
I am submitting a quote in a grey box. When I insert the speech mark image, the PDF looks ok but when I print the addition on top has appeared.
