Imessage is buggy, i can login to it but does discontinues to verify and goes back to the login page,
The problem with imessage with me and same thing too for my facetime, i can login but discontinues to verify and goes back to the login page. This is the second time where imessage is not working, the first time was "Unable to verify email" error, but i manage to solve it by just restarting my ipod. The second time, restart doesn't solve the issue, i wonder the iMessage app is pretty buggy, or servers are busy etc. I need help on this, does anyone has the same problem?

My MacBook was acting weird like sometimes I would log on and I wouldn't be able to type my password for a couple seconds,but it usually logged in after that. Then I left my computer open after installing the recent update after that all my applications were not responding. So I shut it down, when I turned it back on about an hour later it went to this loading screen and then to the login like usual. After I tried logging in a white screen flashed and it went back to the login/ password screen like nothing happened. Any ideas on what happened and what I can do to fix it?

Reinstalling Lion/Mountain Lion Without Erasing the Drive
Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion: Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion and click on the Continue button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless. -
When I get to the login page on my macbook, I type in my password and it starts to load, but then the screen turns blue and it goes back to the login.
Iv tryed this numerious times still keeps going back to pasword. Can not get any further. Tried restart holding shift key.. still nothing. What do i do?Thank you for your help.
I couldnt get to the hard drive/ desktop. Soft login not even working. So i could not do any of that.
In the end i took it to Apple and its actually the hard drive on its way out. A common issue with that series of Mac. Funny seeing i dont use this mac much. However being 2.5 years old and out of warrently, Apple have recognise this issue with this series/ Model and installing a new hard drive at no cost.
Very luck and greatful. And not feeling so dumb that it was something i did or could troubleshoot myself.

It's so annoying!! I have created a new Apple ID but after I click verify it just goes back to the previous page!!! It''s really frustrating I have tried for more than 4H, and the problem is not about the apple ID. I can download apps with the apple ID, which means IMessage is the problem! I restarted my iPad, I logged in and out of the apple ID in the store, AND YET IT STILL WON'T WORK, PLEASE HELP!

After updating to 10.10.3, now my Macbook Pro 15" (mid-2014) will not stay logged in. I log in after restarting, and it will stay logged in for 3-5 seconds then immediately log off and go back to the login screen. Any help?
By the way, I also updated my Macbook Pro 17" (mid-2009) and it seems to be running fine, though I haven't tried to restart it and log in. I'm afraid I won't be able to get this one to work either if I do.Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or earlier, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test. -
Hello there, am new here and very stressed, i have an Imac core i3 which is logging off itself after a few seconds of login, it goes back to the login menu where i put the password. I have tried to repair the os but my pioneer rom is not reading the disk. I press the :c" button on startup but its not picking up the disk in the rom, i have tried to put the disk in an external rom but same answer, am starting to think that my os disk is bad. My Mac Book Pro was really slow at everything and would kick me out of my photos every time i got on them. now it won't even allow me to log on. i put my password in and the screen will flash white and go back to the login page. HELP please...
There is nothing wrong with your Dell, it will work fine with any MacbookPro. I have been using Dell displays for over 12 years with many different Mac models. I have two 21" Ultra Sharp displays working side by side to design a Keynote presentation right now.
The issue your having is with the way Keynote takes control of the video output to both displays, it sends the presentation signal to one and the presenter display to the other, this is set up in;
Keynote preferences > Presenter display.
If you want to show a wesite or another app on either display, use application switcher:
press the the command key on the keyboard, then the tab key; a row of applications will show what applications are running, choose which one you want to show. Use command > tab to return to Keynote. -
I am having a problem. When I click on the Mobile Facebook icon it acts like it is going to start opening then it quits and goes back to the icon. So I can't use Facebook on my iPhone 4
Force quit the application and try again.

I am trying to personal hotspot but each time I go into it and tune it on the screen goes back to the Settings page and personal hotspot has disappeared and can not be found. I have tried restarting the phone and also a factory restore to no avail. HELP

I recently bought the new Iphone 4S on the Bell network. I subscribe to visual voicemail, and when I get a voicemail I can listen to them but when I go to delete them it freezes the screen for a second or two and goes back to the homescreen. Anyone else having this problem? I've called Belland they're clueless about this, and Apple support doesnt seem to know much about it either.
I was mislead as well. It turns out that visual voicemail is only partially supported by Bell. You can only playback voicemail. It doesn't show the caller ID either. You still have to call your VM in order to delete messages (which kinda defeats the purpose). According to Bell tech support they're "working on it" but I wouldn't hold my breath.

I was having some problems with my mac, safari and itunes was freezing alot. I have to force shutdown and when I tried to start up again i get to the login page, type in my password and it starts to load, but then the screen turns blue for a few seconds and it goes back to the log in screen. What should I do?

Put in the password, hit enter, the screen goes blue for half a second, then goes back to login screen and carries on logging in as usual. Drives me mad. It doesn't happen with a fresh Lion installation, nor if booted into safe mode. On the machine in question it also happens to new user accounts.
I've removed all login items, including Startup Items and Launch Demons (pun intended) and Agents, I've compared system login plists with a fresh Lion installation - can't see differences. I've removed Little Snitch and PeerGuardian (no more third party kexts).
@Carolyn: I've done disk maintenance with DiskUtility and fsck and even DiskWarrior, cleaned caches, etc. etc.
Any ideas would be gratefully received.

"itunes could not connect to the ipod becasue it is locked with a passcode. You must enter your passcose on the ipod before it can be used" BUT i cant unlock it and i dont have the original itunes that is was hooked up with before either. HELP!
