IMovie will not open after ram upgrade. How can I fix this?

I updated the ram on my computer by myself from 2gb to 4gb. Everything seemed to work fine, yet when I go to open imovie, it will not open after endlessly bouncing on my dock. I have verified disk permissions. Repaired disk Permissions. Tried replacing iMovie with the iMovie backup from my time machine. Cleared the system cache. Tried reinstalling it using the ilife 11 disk. Tried installing the previous ilife 09 version. Reinstalled snow leopard and did a time machine back up. Placed the old ram back in the computer. All this things done with no success.
DOES SOMEBODY HAVE ANY IDEA ON WHAT I COULD DO?

My first two thoughts
• Faulty RAM - There are programs that can test this as Tech-tools (buy or in Apple Care pac)
• Wrongly inserted RAM - Can be tricky and sometime not obvious - everything's looks OK but in certain situations it just randomly don't work.
Take out the new RAM and try Your Mac without it to see that it's still OK to start with and then very carefully re-install RAM and now be very careful to see that it snaps in exactly as it's intended to.

Seems that you have to update Logic to the latest version (9.0.15) to get it to work in Lion.

HT4623 I have the updated ios6 but my I tunes will not open at all. How can I fix this?

I don't know how to fix my I tunes I can log onto it on throw the Internet so I know it's the right password. I have the updated ios6 software and have tried everything I can think of. Logging out and turning off the IPad and starting it back up trying to login under the settings/iTunes/login. Still nothing. It states it can't connect when I'm connected to wifi. Do you have a mouse you can use to go to System Preferences and check the TrackPad and see that it is pairing and that the replacement batteries are good? There have been a few users who have had problems with suppossedly new batteries, turned out they actually were not strong enough to pair. If you cannot use a mouse, try a different set of batteries and see if that resolves the issue.
If that does not resolve it, take the TrackPad to an Apple store genius bar and have the techs test it to see that it is not defective.

Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer. 
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. 
All these programs have free versions.

The answer depends on a number of factors, such as the following:
If you have more than one email account, does this problem affect one, some, or all of your accounts?
Where did you last see this mail -- in your Inbox(es)? in some other folder(s) outside your Inbox(es)? somewhere else?
How old is the missing email -- yesterday? just before you got the new computer? over a week? over a month? over a year?
How are you reading email -- with the builtin Mail application? with some other mail-reading application? with a web browser?
How do you access your email on the server -- IMAP? POP? Exchange? web browser? other?
What version of OS X is on your new computer -- Mavericks (10.9.x)? Mountain Lion (10.8.x)?
Did you migrate your data and applications from your old computer when you set up your new computer?
For example, if the missing mail is the mail that was in your Inbox before you got the new computer, you are reading it with the builtin Mail via POP, and you failed to migrate data, then the mail was left behind on the old computer. The same would be true if the mail was in "On My Mac" mailboxes and you failed to migrate data.

Is your device recognized by your computer? If yes, copy the pictures and videos as shown in this article:
Copying personal photos and videos from iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your computer
If it is not recognized, try this first: iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows
Disable autosync in iTunes, right click on it in the device list and choose "transfer purchases" to copy apps and other media bought in iTunes to your new library.
Do the same again and choose "backup", to create a manual backup without syncing.
Since your device will be erased due to the new iTunes library during the first sync, you can use this backup afterwards to restore your settings and data.
Set up at least one contact and event on your computer before you start, to be able to merge calendars and contacts.

It sounds like VoiceOver is partially on. First try triple pushing the Home button. This may turn VoiceOver off. If that doesn't work going to Settings/General/Accessibility and make sure VoiceOver is Off. Note you may have to use 3 fingers on the screen to scroll.

Your sequence settings and clip settings are not matching. To make them match, right click on a clip and choose New Sequence from Clip and a new sequence will be created based on your clip settings.

I noticed you have a viewer plugin from that site. Could you check whether it is set to "click to play"? If so, you could try having it always activated.

I was able to download FF beta 4 after trying to install 3.? Both were able to download, but neither of them will come up with the launch wizard to complete the download.

Save the file to the desktop and start the installation with a double-click on that icon after the download has finished. 
If you keep having problems then temporarily disable your anti-virus software during the download and installation in case it is causing problems.

Recently I upgraded to Firefox 4. I frequent various forums where I post advise on various subjects. I am finding that version 4 is showing the threads in the forums, allowing me to log in and to post. i have done this twice in two other posts..
here is my problem.. i started off trying to update itunes, it failed twice and said i needed to install manually via tools.
the only place to get to tools is the pop up box that appears when you click check for updates.. if there is an available update then the pop up shows up with the quick time and itunes files to download. so i finally figured that out. i clicked on tools and manual update, four files were saved to a file. Apple mobile device support, another one similar, itunes, and another one i cant remember. I only downloaded the itunes file seeing as though thats all i needed to accomplish in the first place.
so then i restarted my computer bc you need to reboot and then reopen itunes for update to take effect. once i have itunes back open i plugged in my new 5s which i am trying to sync to my computer to get all my stuff back bc i lost my previous phone over the weekend.. once i plugged the phone in an error stating i needed to unistall the apple mobile device support and itunes and then reinstall. well i dont know where those files were originally stored on my computer AND since my itunes was updated, just not the other 3 associated files, when i click check for updates it says its up to date and then pop up containing the quick time and itunes does not pop up thus i cant get back to the tools tab to manually save the 4 files again.
so i was just going to uninstall itunes all together and then i thought well what happens if it erases all my photos apps songs etc... which would defeat the whole purpose in the first place of me trying to sync my new phone to get all my stuff back.
so i literally have no idea what to do at this point.. if you have read this you are probably just as confused as me...

My icloud email and exchange email will not download to ipad. How can I fix this?

I got my ipad for Christmas and my husband set it up before he gave it to me (on 12-22-12). Everything was working fine until around Christmas day, I haven't gotten an email since 4:00 on that day. He has checked all of the settings, they are fine. When I open my Mail, I see a refresh circle in the top left corner, then it will come up with an alert saying "cannot connect to server". All other apps work with our internet connection; Safari, Youtube, etc. We are new to the apple world.

Also try this - Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
