"Import contacts" not available?

Hi,
we got a new Exchange 2013-setup running and customers are asking were to find the import contacts function in OWA. We did nothing related to this on the servers, no change in config, nothing. There's an old thread on the forums that tells this function
is available for Office365 only, the online help of OWA 2013 doesn't mention this in any way.

That feature seems available in Office 365 OWA interface only, not on in-premise Exchange 2013 bits...

iphone contacts "not available" to car phonebook after messing around with Outlook.pst files, names and backups, on my ms XP 2003 laptop. I substituted a much smaller new Personal Folder -Contacts File, with a smaller list of phone numbers (4 only as a test) which successfully synced to the iPhone 4. The iPhone connects to the Skoda Octavia HandsFreeSystem OK (Bluetooth works fine), but now iPhone wont load the new Contacts as it did originally. However a family Nokia (never messed with) can connect properly. So must be the iPhone or more likely an Outlook.pst \ Contacts problem. Ideas?

After fiddling a little more, the following fixed my corrupted outlook.pst file:
1) I made a backup
2) In outlook under file, I exported the calendar to excel
3) In outlook under file, I imported the calendar back to outlook
And voila, it worked.

Synchronization-Contacts (not available)

Long-time BB user. Curve 8530. Desktop Software 5.0 Bundle 1596.Have been a successful user of software since release. Sync calendar and contacts from Outlook 2010.Generally, one-way sync from computer to device. Sync calendar and contacts separately. Have about 1,000 contacts in Outlook 2010 Contacts. Tried to sync Contacts last night and today - indicates Contacts(not available) in the Select Organizer Data to Synchronize ("gray'd out, option to select not available).
First time this has happened. How can I get the Contacts option active to sync?
Last time I sychronized each of Calendar and Contacts prior to yesterday, Wednesday, February 20, 2013, was Monday, February 18, 2013.
Appreciate some help, guidance and direction. R, Marathon04

Sorry to hear you're having an issue syncing your Contacts.
Have you recently added an email account, such as Gmail or Yahoo and enabled wireless Contact sync?
If you reboot by pulling the battery then reinsert it, do you get the option to configure the Contacts?
It would be recommended you upgrade your BlackBerry Desktop Software to the latest version. You can download it from www.blackberry.com/desktop and once updated see if you're able to configure your Contacts for sync.

BBM video contact not available

I have a z30 and the wife has my old z10. When I try to connect bbm video to the z10 it says contact not available for bbm video,
What am I doing wrong? I'm new to bbm as it is

Join to contact, then press the Button All
Here choose BBM Video
The contacts shown in BBM list are the ones you can make video calls to those who go online connected
Enter the contact's profile and choose BBM Video.

Imported tracks not available in playlists until download from cloud

Sometimes, playlists made of tracks imported from my CDs are not available to sync with iPhones or iPads. When I look at the tracks in My Music, they all have the cloud symbol by them. I can't get a playlist that includes them to sync to phone until I download from the cloud. Any idea why I have to do that? The tracks started out as imports on my PC in the first place. (If anyone can point me to good complete description oh how iTunes on PC works with the cloud, that would be very helpful.)

To sync your music you iphone, the music needs to be physically in you iTunes library on your computer. So you will need to download then. Where do you keep the originals of the tracks as they would have had to be on your computer when you subscribed to match?
Your alternative is to turn on match so that all your music will be available from the cloud. You have the option to download tracks for use when you have no wifi connection.

"Available" contacts NOT available

Why is it that my contacts that say are available are actually NOT available? Whenever I log in it's the same set of people that are said to be available.

Your apps are contained in an iTunes backup. They should be in your iTunes library and can be transferred to your new phone by syncing with iTunes. If they aren't, connect your old phone to iTunes, click on the name of your phone, then go to File>Devices>Transfer Purchases to add them. If you don't have your old phone, you'll have to redownload them http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519.
As for your contacts, if you don't have them backed up anywhere else your only option is to try restoring to your backup again or sync them from your old phone to a supported program on your computer (such as Outlook, Windows Contacts or Mac Address Book/Contacts).

Q10 contacts not available to BMW Bluetooth system..............

I have a (roughly) four month old Q10. When I originally paired it to my MINI Bluetooth system, it worked fine and my contacts were available in the MINI's display dialog.
A couple weeks ago, I added a Microsoft Hosted Exchange Server email account to the Q10's account list. From that point forward (give or take) the only data displayed in the MINI's phone book display was the corresponding phone number for the contact. No other data.
A couple days ago, I acquired a new BMW X5. The MINI and BMW Bluetooth systems are very similar (both BMW systems) and I'm still experiencing the same problems. Nothing but the phone number is displayed in the X5 dialog.

I have made progress on my original issue, but it took some time to figure things out.
The problem on my Q10 started while it was still connected to the MINI that I was driving at the time. After the software update that was downloaded to the device, around early September sometime, the MINI Bluetooth display began showing only numbers, no associated names. Since I was about to trade the car, I ignored the problem.
I did try syncing the phone with BB Link on two different computers (one office, one home office), but only wound up with two duplicate contact lists on the device.
When I acquired the X5 on October 1st and paired the phone, same display issues. So I contacted RIM tech support and spent about an hour sitting in the vehicle, trying different actions, to no avail.
Being kind of fed up with the problem, and all the time it was using up, I responded with the usual email message to the open case log with my usual "since you can't fix the problem, thanks for the brick" dialog.
RIM responded with a detailed message advising me to do a security wipe (after backing up of course) on the Q10, then add back my Microsoft Hosted Exchange email account credentials.
This fixed the problem. I have not reentered some of my other email accounts, which I thought might have a negative effect. Since most of my correspondence and calendar are on the Hosted Exchange account, I'm in pretty good shape and don't want to do anything to screw it up again.

"Import Mailbox" not available after installing Leopard - no email

The first time I opened Mail after installing Leopard. It found my accounts and folders but nothing was in them. Everything I've read says to "Import Mailboxes" from the Library, however that option isn't available to me. (it is in shadow). Should I re-install Leopard? Is there a way to re-install just the "mail" rather than the whole operating system?

Restarting the MBPr a second time after the update resolved the issue for me. I was updating from 10.10.2.
Prior to resolving this, the symptoms I experienced were a loss of the Bluetooth icon in System Preferences, and no option to search for Bluetooth devices in both the Mouse and Keyboard menus. The Bluetooth icon in the top menu bar also had a squiggly line going through it, and when clicked reported Bluetooth not available.

TS3367 Contact not available

I own an iphone 5. The facetime on my phone is not working. Every time I try to make a video call it just shows that 'the person is not available for facetime' even though she actually is. I wasn't having this problem before, been having it only for the last week. What should I do to rectify this problem? Thank you.

Try a reset: Hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until you see the apple, then let go. If this doesn't work, try Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings

Importing parameters not available in Production system

Hi Experts,
I am facing an issue after moving my objects into Production system.
I have created a calss and which contains five methods. Each method contains itsown importing parameter. There is one method to send mail, which contains three importing Parameters. I have captured this class and the methods in a TR and basis team moved this TR into production system.
The TR has moved successfully into the production system. But when I checked the Parameters of the class SEND_EMAIL has only one importing parameter insted of three.
Again I created a new TR and captured all the objects related to Class, which contains class definition, methods etc.
I have moved it to quality system successfuly. When I checked in quality i can see the three importing parametrs in SEND_EMAIL method.
This TR has moved to Production successfully. When I checked in production I can see only one importing parameter in SEND_EMAIL method.
But it is showing same active version in Quality and Production.
Please suggest me how can I resolve this issue?

First you check the parameter which u are sending that are already in prd server exist or not
some there are some thing we can see which are available in qua those are not seen in production
see in se06 and try to modify the exact component to modifaible state
check sp pack of qua and prd are one and the same
check kernal rel level in both
check chmod and chown are same in both

CallConnector public contacts not available

Hi All,
I have a query regarding Cisco Call Connector version: 2.01.012, file version: 1.1.56.12203. My request is in relation to Outlook and its contact management.
Personal contacts are detected and used perfectly, however we have a public contacts group located under “other contacts” this contains 4 thousand contacts used by our employees and regularly updated by multiple different users. Is there any way for CallConnector to see these contacts?
I’ve checked all the menus many times without any luck. Is this something which can be synced with CallConnector without the drastic and messy task of merging the public file with my own?

I spoke to TAC about this. It looks like its not possible in the current release.
There is a method to import the public contacts into your private directory however as this contains 4k + entries its not really a feasible option.

Imported emails not available...

I just purchsed a new MacBook Pro. I imported all my emails from my G4 tower (from Mail.app 2.1) into Mail on the laptop. Some (but not all) of the messages show up. When I click on some messages this is what I see:
"The message from SENDER concerning 'SUBJECT LINE' has not been downloaded from the server. You need to take this account online in order to download it."
The messages all show up in Mail on my old computer. This is happening with messages from a variety of senders (i.e. they're not all sending from the same place).
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Please, clarify what exactly did you do to set up Mail on the new computer and to import your mail from the old one.

Hi! So I updated my mother's iPhone 4 from ios 4.2.1 to ios 6.1.3 and it went out smoothly until I found out everything got erased. My Kim's important contacts,notes and photos were there. Help me recover them please!

Um actually i know the back up password. The only problem is i cant restore my back up on to my iphone since the bak up is crrupted. And im wondering if the photos and stuff will still be seen in the back up folder if it is corrupted. My mom says its fine if the data in our iphone got erased. But did the photos save in the itunes? Can we view it even though the files are corrupted? If i cant how can i repair it? What if the back up file is erased becoz of the new dates? How can i retrieve them? Can iexplorer open a corrupted file? Latly can someone give me an application to retrieve all the files? Without purchasing it?! Plssssss answer! Im doomed!
