Import / export of an Org to a New LMS site

Hi
Was wondering if anyone could shine some light on an issue I have with the import of an organisation.
The xml files are created in a Zip no problem but when I import back into new org on a new site it does not create any of the accounts.
"e-LfH Org" Organization (ID: 35328) will be updated
     0 users will be created
     262 users will be updated
     0 users will be deleted
"test" Organization (ID: 65737) will be updated
     0 users will be created
     13 users will be updated
     0 users will be deleted
I assume that I need to make some edits to the XML files but I'm unsure what those should be.
Thanks
Stephen

It looks like the persons which OLM data you are exporting are not found in the new system. The persons which OLM data you want to import, have to be present in the new system before you import them.

  • Can I import Muse-created html files into a new Muse site file?

Due to a crash, I lost my most recent Muse site with many new changes. I do have my latest html files, which were created in Muse... is there a way to import the html into the old Muse site so that I don't lose my recent updates? Please advise. (I do have a time machine backup, but unfortunately, it only has the old Muse file.)

Unfortunately there is no way to create a muse file from the HTML files.

  • Unexpected Quits in multiple applications at Save or Import/Export window

    Hello,
For several months I have Apple and Adobe applications as well as Firefox, randomly quit when bringing up the Save, or Import/Export window. (I have copies of the error logs.)
I thought I had it fixed since I haven't had any issues for some time after running Disk Utility and Onyx. But, I posted the same issue a couple of months ago and the solution (at the time) was to keep the desktop clean (see "Crashing at Save" by katorama) . So, after I cleaned up my desktop and only had two aliases to my folders I needed, all went very well until now.
However, what didn't help is that yesterday we had three power outages and my iMac did an auto-restart after each. Since then, the problem returned and nothing seems to fix it.
I feel like this issue is haunting me! I was a tech for many years and normally can fix the issue. But, I can't seem to figure out the reason behind these crazy unexpected quits. Seems I've run out of tools in my toolbag.
    TROUBLESHOOTING ATTEMPTS:
    – I have run Disk Utility to verify and repair disk and Onyx to clean out caches. After this, it seems to run fine, then a different application will have the same problem.
    – When I create a new user account, there is no response when I double click the hard drive (it does not open) and when testing an application for the quit issue, it happens again.
    – Also, when I restart into Safe Boot the problem appears to stop initially, but can appear intermittently again.
I suspect it may be a RAM or even a Quartz issue? But, honestly, I have no idea.

    Hi.
This is about a question you posted to the Firefox Support forum three months ago (I'm sorry you never got an answer).
Did you ever fix the problem where Firefox freezes or hangs, when clicking a download link or using (File menu) "save as" or "open file"? Or when going to the Firefox (Tools) menu and clicking Options ? Or trying to Import or Export bookmarks?
I found this thread searching for a solution for someone on MozillaZine's support forum who's having a similar issue. See this thread: (maybe something he's tried that didn't work for him will work for you?)

  • Questions on Subviews and Import/Export in Data Modeler v3 EA1.

I have a few questions about the capabilities of Data Modeler v3 EA1:
    1) Is it possible to rename subviews? Would like more meaningful names then Relational_x - Subview_x.
    2) Is it possible to save documents at subview level?
    3) Is it possible to import/export subsets of data?
    4) Having problems importing Erwin 7 .xml file, is there known problems with this import?
    Judy

    Hi Judy,
    1) To rename a subview just right click on it in the browser tree and select "Properties". In the properties dialog change the name and click OK button.
    2) You can save a subview as new Data Modeler design - from the File menu select Export -> To Data Modeling Design. In the newly opened dialog select the subview you want to export and click OK button.
    3) After saving a subview as new design (see answer #2) it can be imported in some other design (File -> Import -> Data Modeler Design).
    4) What kind of problems do you have with import of Erwin 7.* xml file?

  • Application import/export failing, hopefully a simple one though

    hi all,
i'm very new to oracle and am trying to get going with xe. i'm working between work and home and want to be able to transport wherever i'm at to work/home - so i thought the application import/export function would be the best way? first of all, is it?
if so - i keep getting the
    failed to parse SQL query:
ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
    error
i'm running the same versions of oracle, on the same platforms (Application Express 2.1.0.00.39, winXPpro all service packed up). both my users have dba roles and the apps work fine on the machines i created them on. the import and install processes claim to be successful and the error only comes up when i try to log in to the application. any ideas?
btw - the apps are just simple tests, dependences etc with a couple rows in each table]
any help be much appreciated even if its "go read this!" as i've googled away & got not much....
    cheers!

Your problem is likely that in your office you do not have the tables required by your program. The export does not include your tables. You have to create them yourselves

  • Custom HTML importer/exporter, how to preserve HTML id, class, style

I need to implement a custom XHTML importer/exporter and CSSFormatResolver.
    If I for example have a p-element: <p id="p1" class="xyz" style="margin:0.7em; color:#3300FF">lorem ipsum</p>
How do I map the HTML attributes: id, class and style in order to preserve them in the ParagraphElement in order to use them during the custom CSS cascade process and for custom HTML export purposes (the exporter needs to spit out <p id="p1" class="xyz" style="margin:0.7em;  color:#3300FF">lorem ipsum</p> again.
    1. is this mapping correct or will this interfere with internal TLF formatting:
    HTML attribute
    ParagraphElement property
    id
    id
    class
    styleName
    style
    userStyles
    2. What is the purpose of FlowElement.coreStyles (where are those styles applied)?
    3. What is the actual purpose of FlowElement.userStyles, are those styles just for non TLF (end developer custom) purposes or does TLF use them at any point to set the element format properties?
    4. Any other pointers or related (non flex framwork) examples are welcome
    Thanks.
    Cheers, Benny

Your mapping looks correct to me for id and styleName.
I think what you are saying about style mapping to userStyles is correct.  Yes userStyles is an object of key value pairs holding all the non-TLF styles for a FlowElement.  coreStyles holds all the TLF styles for a FlowElement. TLF does use userStyles itself for the linkHoverFormat, linkActiveFormat and linkNormalFormat styles.
Setting FlowElement.userStyles TLF will replace the current set of userStyles with those in the supplied Object.  That Object will be treated as a dictionary of stylenames and values.
Normally I'd expect you'd use the FlowElement.setStyle API which figures out if a particular style belongs to coreStyles or userStyles and then sets the new style appropriately without changing the others.

  • Incremental import / export in oracle -- for a table

    Hi all,
I got dump which has data for all the tables for a particular user as below
    user= xx
    dumps has the following tables
    table1
    table2
    table3.....
Now i want to import on a daily basis, only the new data of table2 into different database db2.
    How to do this?
eg. on day1 the table2 has (----when i import the table2 into the different data all the 3 will go(x,y,z))
    name age
    z 20
    y 22
    x 20
    on day2 the table2 has
    name age
    z 20
    y 22
    x 20
    a 25
when import here only the record 'a 25' of table2 has to be appended to the other database db2
    Thnks and regards
    S. Djeanthi

Incremental Imports are no longer supported.
You could use fast refreshable materialized views if you can use a db-link.
Do you know Oracle Streams ?
    Just ideas.
But probably you will be stuck with traditional table exports.

  • Import/Export in back stage view

What is the use of import/Export in back stage view of customize ribbon and Quick access toolbar

    Shiv --
Pardon me for bumping into this thread.  Here is a scenario that might answer your question:
You create a customized ribbon and Quick Access Toolbar.  Your ribbon has a new tab called Initiate which contains the commands you use to initiate a new project, such as setting the Start date of the project, setting the Project and Nonworking Time
calendars, etc.  Your customized Quick Access Toolbar contains the buttons you most frequently use, such as Zoom In, Zoom, Out, Scroll to Task, etc.
A fellow PM sees how you have customized the ribbon and Quick Access Toolbar in your copy of Microsoft Project and asks if you would give him/her the customizations.
You navigate to the Backstage and export your ribbon and Quick Access Toolbar customizations to an *.exportedUI file and you e-mail the customization file to your fellow PM.
Your fellow PM launches Microsoft Project, navigates to the Backstage, walks through the import process, and imports the ribbon and Quick Access Toolbar customizations from the customization file you sent him/her.
As Guillaume correctly points out, this is how to transfer ribbon and Quick Access Toolbar customizations from one computer to another, or from one user to another.  One of the things I have done since Microsoft released the 2010 version Microsoft Project
is to give my students a customization file that has customizations they can use in the real world with their ribbon and Quick Access Toolbar.  The export/import process is very easy, and very useful.  Hope this extra helps.

  • Import/Export code using Memory ID in BO Method

    Hi experts,
I am having a approver name and other relevant data in my report. I don't want to write the entire code I want to bring it into my BO method by using import/export memory id. Pl. guide me what should I do ? Is it possible or not?
    Thank you,
    Saquib

I am a bit confused that what you are trying to achieve. In any case I think you can forget any export/import memory ID related solutions - they will not work!
The workflow (or its step/task) is executing your BO method, right? You want this method to have some data when it gets executed? Normally you would want to populate the data to the workflow (or task) container, for example with function SAP_WAPI_WRITE_CONTAINER (you just need the work item ID). Then when this data is in the container, you can use it in your method (binding required).
Somehow I feel that you looking a difficult solution for a simple problem. If you need some relevant data in your workflow, let the workflow to find it (add a new step to the workflow, and copy/paste the relevant part of the code of your report to this step). (Or try to give the data to the workflow already when it gets started, if possible). Don't try to mix things with some separate report, unless it is completely necessary, and if it is, then writing into the container is most likely the best approach.

  • Import/Export wizard auto-generates all columns as DATE

    Hi
I'm trying to use the Import/Export Wizard as I used to, as a handy tool to figure out what a series of T-SQL statements (in an SSIS package) is doing - or, if I'm lucky, what on earth the original dev
    intended them to do.
    Version: SQL 2014 64-bit running on Win 7 64-bit
    The code is pretty dreadful:
SELECT DISTINCT on one set of column names,
join this set to another table but not on exactly the same set of column names,
embedded (SELECT MAX(bla) FROM SameTable WHERE [match to outer set on another set of columns] GROUP BY [hey, yet another set of columns!]) inside the SELECT column list...
and it all goes to a nasty #Tmp, which is then abused with further bad code further down.
Imp/Exp is always handy to quickly get the intermediate results into an auto-created real table, so I can figure out exactly what the effect of this is.  I use it to export from the database back to the same database, but to a persisted table.
This time (first time with SQL2014) it's not working.  The source is "write a query" (paste the actual query).  The destination I set to a new table.  The auto-generation of the new table creates every column as type
date.  Not surprisingly, this doesn't work, as the original data is mostly not of
    date time.
Looks like a bug.  Any idea of a workaround or fix?
    thanks!

Sorry, but I think you're still not getting what I'm saying.
This is not a production SSIS package design, but a quick'n'nasty diagnosis technique I'm used to using:
    - Find some SQL in an existing query/script that I'm trying to debug
    - Paste it into Import/Export wizard as a source
    - Wizard creates a new table for the result - I then have the results persisted for examination, comparison with the results from refactored code, etc.
And I can't even put suitable CAST/CONVERT statements in, because the wizard is mis-identifying the
input column data types, with no way to change them.   It's somehow thinking that every column in the input (the SQL query) is of type
date(500), when the columns are obviously not of this type.

  • Questions on import/export

    Hello Everybody,
I am learing the import/export feature of the portal.
    I have couple questions
    1. Can I import the portal desktop and all the related framework page and theme. Will it be intact after the import?
2.I have a folder in KM with various documents, How shuould I import this folder and after the  import are links going break withing the documents?
    Thank you
    -Suresh

    Hi Suresh,
Yes you can do it using the following procedure.
Go to System Administration > Portal Dispaly > Theme Archive and you can import new theme files.
u will find the new theme listed Under My Themes.
You can use the theme editor to customize the theme too.
if you want to Create ur new theme or personalize the exsisting theme use the following link

  • Stupid question about import/export

    Hi All,
i'm banging my head against the wall :) :)
i have one database (oracle 10g) , the database is called ORAPD
in this database lives a user called WFAT
    ORAPD -- WFAT
now i create 3 another users: WFATG , WFAUTOG, WFPATG
Now i want to import all data, objects, index, sequences etc from WFAT to each one of the other 3 users
    ORAPD -- WFAT
-- WFATG (new user with objects from wfat)
-- WFAUTOG (new user with objects from wfat)
-- WFPATG (new user with objects from wfat)
    this is want i've done.
export wfat objects, connected with user system with expdp
import wfaobjects to each one of the new 3 users with impdp , remapping schemas and tablespaces
    f:\impdp system/passwordXXX schemas=wfat remap_schema=wfat:wfautog remap_ta
    blespace=tbs_wfatg_tab:tbs_wfautog_tab remap_tablespace=tbs_wfatg_idx:tbs_wfauto
    g_idx remap_tablespace=tbs_wfatg_xml:tbs_wfautog_xml status=60 dumpfile=exp_wfat
    g_20100421.dmp parallel=2 directory=dumpdirdd
    The problem:
i have WFAT tables with triggers that belong to WFATG , WFPATG and WFAUTOG users !!!
    why ???
    Best regards
    Rui Madaleno

    Hi Paul,
    thanks for you reply
I have followed your suggestion and removed the shemas=wfat option from the impdp command.
    Here are the steps:
    1) create the user wfautog
Note that , before the import i've created the tablespaces and the wfautog user:
    CREATE USER WFAUTOG
    IDENTIFIED BY xxxxxx
    DEFAULT TABLESPACE TBS_WFAUTOG_TAB
    TEMPORARY TABLESPACE TEMP
    PROFILE DEFAULT
    ACCOUNT UNLOCK;
    -- 2 Roles for WFAUTOG
    GRANT CONNECT TO WFAUTOG;
    GRANT RESOURCE TO WFAUTOG;
    ALTER USER WFAUTOG DEFAULT ROLE ALL;
-- 1 System Privilege for WFAUTOG
    GRANT UNLIMITED TABLESPACE TO WFAUTOG;
    2) import data:
    f:\impdp system/passwordXXX remap_schema=wfat:wfautog remap_ta
    blespace=tbs_wfatg_tab:tbs_wfautog_tab remap_tablespace=tbs_wfatg_idx:tbs_wfauto
    g_idx remap_tablespace=tbs_wfatg_xml:tbs_wfautog_xml status=60 dumpfile=exp_wfat
    g_20100421.dmp parallel=2 directory=dumpdirdd
After that i detect the following problems :( :(
    1) There are no sequences in the wfautog schema
    2) There are triggers owned by wfautog "pointing" to wfat tables
    Can you help me ?

  • Another question about import/export to excel file?

Hi, I need to know urgently if it's possible to import/export excel files from/to JSP with unpredicted number of fields each row. For example, row 1 in the excel file can have 5 columns of data, row 2 has 3 columns of data, etc...
Does reading from excel file in JSP require that we know beforehand how many columns there are and what each column represent?

    go read http://jakarta.apache.org/poi !!!!!!
No it doesnt. the POI api provide method to determine the number of cells in a row.
