Import filesystem not working?

From what I've read, the fileSystem class (which I need to
write a data file to disk from a projector) works in Flash CS4 as
long as you have the AIR runtime (which I do), according to the
documentation.
I found quite a bit of sample code, but I can't even get the
package to load and all of the types and functions and classes are
undefined.
Here's my code:

When I "test movie" in CS4, it doesn't even make it past the
"import" statement, which is strange since that library is included
in the default implicitImports.xml on my installation.
The errors I get start with:
1172: Definition flash.filesystem could not be found.
And continue with expected errors if the library was not
loaded:
1120: Access of undefined property File.
Anyone have any ideas? I can't find filesystem.as in my
install folders. Perhaps it's somewhere else?
Or perhaps I misunderstand the documentation and you can't
use fileSystem in a flash projector with AIR?
Or is there some setting in Flash I need to adjust to work
with the library and AIR?
Please help. I'm on deadline for this project and I don't
have a clue of any other way of writing a text file to the local
hard disk. Any assistance greatly appreciated.

No, I'm not publishing for AIR. I have the AIR runtime and
the free AIR SDK, but the AIR option on the Publish Dialog is
disabled and AIR settings on File Menu do not appear as an option.
I guess I'm pretty lost on this.

Try a cleaning disc. You can get them at places like Radio Shack.
If nothing helps your optical drive has probably failed. You can replace it or purchase an inexpensive external drive. Don't buy the Apple SuperDrive as it won't work with macs that have a built in drive.

This happened to me today on the iPad; I put in the password 4 or 5 times. I began to think my account had been hacked. I tried again on my iPhone and it worked first time. Then I tried again on the iPad and same thing—worked first time. Maybe just a temporary glitch in the server?

Background-color:transparent !important; is not working in IE

In my sharepoint site i have used "background-color:transparent !important;" css. It is not working in IE but in Mozilla is working fine.
And I am using IE 11. Please let me know is there any thing wrong in the syntax. If that is the case please provide me correct solution for that.

Actually in my sharepoint site the same code "background-color:transparent
!important;" was working fine before installing sharepoint 2010 service pack 2. After installation we got this issue. And if i change "transparent"
with any color, it is applying that color. Only "transparent"
background css is not working in IE.

Import statement not working

i created a package named "pkg1", it contains 4 classes named
1) Base
2) Subclass1 (extends Base)
3) Subclass2 (extends Subclass1)
4) Subclass3 (extends Subclass2)
now when i try to use the package using
import pkg1.*
and in main method, if i write,
Subclass3 obj = new Subclass3();
It does not work, error msg says "makes sure Subclass3 is in the correct sub-directory."
However, when i tried
import pkg1.Subclass3;
It worked fine, Why is then import pkg1.* not working??

I don't think that's going to help.
Try and see.
When the java compiler looks for a class
pkg1.Subclass1 it looks for pkg1\Subclass1.java
relative to the current directory and
pkg1\Subclass1.class relative to each directory on
the classpath.
When the javac compiler (at least version 1.4) looks for a dependent class, it looks in the Classpath directories. It only looks relative to the current directory if the current directory is in the Classpath. When it looks for a dependent class, it looks for both .java and .class files. If it only finds a .java file or the .java file is newer than a .class file, it will try to compile the file.
You need to compile from the directory above
pkg1, in this case (unfortunately) d:\
This makes it sound like it is a requirement to compile from the directory. It isn't required.

I have iMovie '11, and I am unable to access mpeg HD video files that I want to edit. The files are fine (I can open and watch them using VLC), but I cannot seem to import the files into iMovie. File Import does not work. Any suggestions??

More detail: I have a bunch of mpeg HD video files that were shot on a SONY HDR-HC3 Handycam camcorder. I would like to edit these into a single video production. I can access and view the mpeg files using VLC (Quicktime does not work with them). However, I seem to be unable to get the mpeg files to interface with iMovie '11 -- I cannot use the File --> Import command, nor can I drag-and-drop them into iMovie.
Is there something anyone might suggest to get this to work? Or are these files incompatible with iMovie? If so, I assume I must purchase a different video editing software program (e.g. Adobe Premeir Pro). Suggestions???

Yes, I tried that.   The files were ordered by their original numbers as imported from the camera, but I batched them through Phocoshop to downsize all of them into a more manageable file size.   I opened that destination folder from quick time from where it said select image sequence.   I clicked on the first one and opened it.   The result was a large image with an arrow indicating a movie was ready to go.   When I pressed the arrow, though, I realized it had only imported that one frame so there was no movie.   The files are Jpgs and are about 450 KB each.
    To your knowledge are there any links to iMovie tutorials or quick time tutorials that may address this situation? Maybe there will be one I haven't looked at yet.

Import button not working - moving shared music to library

My import button is showing, but I can't click it (it's faded, not as bright as operating buttons). I have shared my old computer's library and am trying to import the shared music to my library. I currently appears on the new computer, but I can't get the import button to work. Yes, I do have both accounts and passwords matched up.

You can't load shared music into the iPod. You can play the songs on your computer, but you can't copy them to your own personal library nor to the iPod. The only thing I could suggest you do is move all of the shared music to your own computer and/or copy the songs from the original CD's to your computer.

Import Server not working

I have a scenario where PI is sending data to MDM inbound port which is automaticaly getting imported to MDM .
Now problem is PI is succesfully sending data but file is not coming to Inbond port.
PI side all the configuration is fine .
Through Import amanger its working fine.

Hi Neethu,
it seems problem at PI level because as you said file not coming in MDM inbound port.
To check MDM import server working or not just put file in MDM inbound port manually and check wether file processing automatically or not.
if PI sending file to to inbound port then you need to check port in MDM console and configuration parameter such as remote system, map , file format, processing time, file aggregation count etc.
Kindly check and revert back.

Import Project not working... Help?

I cannot for the life of me figure this out. Running two macs. I have an assistant now who rates/edits photos on one mac running Aperture. When she finished, I exported the project (without checking 'consolidate images') and then imported them on my computer. When I did this, I got the following:

So I thought - maybe I should have checked the checkbox on the export. So I went back, checked the box and exported. Sure enough, on the import, I got the same. No files anywhere to be seen, but several folders.
Any ideas? The files are stored in the aperture library (not referenced).

How are you transferring the exported project between computers? If you are using the Windows drive sharing feature, that will not work and probably give you what you see. It could be something else as well.
That would be my best guess as to what is happening. You could double-check the exported project contents when you receive it, use Finder to right-click on the project and select "Show Package Contents" - then you are looking at what files are inside that project. Compare what is in the original exported project on the computer it normally lives on with the copy, and see if there are any differences.

Do not import duplicates not working

How can I import only new photos from memory card? the do not import duplicates checkmark does not work anymore.

I reset the import settings to defaults, thinking I might have changed something inadvertently ( I am new at this), and now the checkmark for do not import duplicates cannot be checked ( for the past two weeks it could but it would still import all the duplicates)
This looks like there may be a problem with broken user preferences in your user account.
Test, if you can set the "Do not import duplicates" flag, if you sign in as a different user. Enable another user account for testing in the "System Preferences > Users& Groups", e.g. the "Guest" account, if you do not have a test account. If the "Do not import Duplicates" is working well in this account, we'll know, that broken preferences files or other setings in your current account are probably causing this.
Then try to remove your user preferences as described in this document : the Apple Aperture trouble-shooting page.
You user library may still be hidden, as is the default in Mavericks: To open your hidden user library:
Select the "Home" folder icon (the little house) in the Finder's sidebar and press the key combination ⌘J to open the "view options".
Enable "Show Library Folder".
Then open the Home folder and open the Library folder inside and navigate to ~/Library/Preferences
These files and folders need removing:
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Aperture.plist
~/Library/Containers/com.apple.Aperture
After removing the Preferences files it is essential to log off and on again, or to restart the computer, before you launch Aperture again. Otherwise it may not take effect.

DB Adapter Re Import Table Not working (JDev 11.1.1.6.0)

I am trying to refresh the DB adapter tables after a few columns were added. Here is what I did.
Adapter configuration wizard --> Import Tables --> Query table --> Move the same table from Available section to Selected Section --> Click OK.
A message pops up to confirm 'Re-Import Table'. Click Yes.
At this point it is suppose to refresh the table and add the new columns. But when I click next, it says there are new columns available in the table. The new columns are not added to the DB adapter query.
Has any one faced this issue? Please suggest any ideas or work around to add the columns.

Re-Import table did not work for me even after lot of struggle. I tried tampering with jca, wsdl etc, re-installed the JDeveloper, tried on multiple machines but nothing worked. I finally gave up and recreated the DB adapter with 'pure sql query' option instead of tables. Re did the mappings etc. It was hard but I seem to have no other options. I will never use the table option again.
