Import tab in a purchase order

Hi Friends,
We have one requirement. How to make commodity code, import procedure and country of origin fields as required fileds in import tab of a purchase order?
Help appreciated and rewarded. It is urgent

Instead of the PO you can already make the commodity code and country of origin  in the material master mandatory.
The import procedure should default from info record.
Accurate maintenance of master data avoids problems in transactional data.
For the PO you can customize incompletness schemes that makes the fields required.
No an option for parameter is not available

  • Stats Tab in Header ( Purchase order Display )

    Warm greetings,
    In Purchase order display Stats Tab in Header ( Purchase order Display )
    Purchase order consists of K & A (Account assignment category) K Stands for Cost center & A stands for asset
    4 Qty for 500 = 2000
    1Qty of Asset 5000/=
    Here the total Value of the PO is 7000/=
    Once the purchase order is created in status tab
    Still to deliv : shows whole quantity of the PO Example 5Qty
    in which 4qty to k( cost center) & 1qty to A( Asset)
    But amount value  shows only 2000/=
    instead of 7000/=
    Generally it should show as 7000/=
    Help me out to fix this issue pleas,

    Hi,
    pls check that the item which you are procuring for Asset is Non-Valuated.
    Thats why it is showing amount as 2000 only.

    Here in Is-oil we have invoice cyles. Provisional invoice, Final invoice, interested invoice, settlement invoice etc..
    So in sales at first provisional invoice has been created than the final invoice based on the Provisional invoice.. and further invoices like  interest invoice & settlement invoice ..
    So here we are using 4 invoice cycle.. hence you have to define in the Spro-->industry solution -->oil & gas  > cross component application>maintain the invoice cycle numbers... 4
    And this data has to be used in Condition type
    Spro--> industry solution -->oil & gas  > cross component application> MM split invoice -->Enter the data in additional invoice .
    These is the function of Material invoice cycle field...

  • New Tab in PO (Purchase Order)

    Dear all.
       I need to create a new Tab in the Purchase Order to put a new field. At the moment i have implemented 2 BADIS
    ZME_PROCESS_PO_CUST and ZME_GUI_PO_CUST. At this moment i have 2 main problens:
         1 -  a can only saw this new tab when using the transaction ME23N.
         2 - This new tab, and the field in this tab don't have any data.

  • Importing a list into Purchase order

    Hi,
    I have a list on purchase order entries (Lines) in EXCEL. I would create PO in EBS and import line data from my excel. Is this possible?.
    Alternatively, I a have another PO in system that have similar lines as the one I want to create . I was wondering if import is not possible then is it possible I can copy a PO and edit the new one.
    I am new to EBS; I will appreciate if you can give me navigation details too. Thanks for your help in advance

    Hi,
    If you are using R12 then this is possible through buyer's work center...
    E.g. You create a BPA Header.. and you want to upload the lines of this BPA by using source file in excel or text format.
    Under Buyer work center :
    1) click on the agreement tab .. click on the search button.. search for the BPA number you have just created with header info only
    2) Query will fetch your BPA... In Select Agreement option, select "Update" option..and press GO
    3) It will take you to a page : Update Blanket Purchase Agreement XXXXXXXXX
    4) Click on Lines tab of this page
    5) In this page you will see Add Line (fields) : select Via Upload from the LOV. Press GO
    6) Sytem will prompt you for File Type : Tab-Delimited text, XML. CXML etc...you selct your file ...
    7) If you are not sure about file format.. CLICK on DOWNLOAD Resources Button in this page...
    8) Now system will take you to Download Resource page... press Download.. save the template in your local m/c..
    8) Use (texttemplate.txt) the template, build you flat file for BPA lines... and upload it..
    It's easy.. :)

  • Default tab in Process Purchase order

    Hi All,
    We are in SRM 4.0 and we recently we upgraded our system to SP12.
    After the upgrade, while entering into Process Purchase order transaction "Find" tab is showing by default. But before the upgrade it was showing Worklist as the default tab where we can see all the open work items in that tab.
    Is there a way to set "Worklist" as the default tab?
    Please advise.

    Once the PO is published, you cannot delete it. If you have created a change version for the published PO, you can delete the change version but not already published PO.

    It is not possible to add extra tab by configuration .you have to use user exit/BADI to get this .

    Hi,
    If you dont maintain Purchase Info Record for a Particular Material, System will automatically create one Purchase Info Record in Background with Vendor and Price Detail only.
    For this,in OMFI the Purchase order Update Indicator should be B and in Po item Detail tab Info Update Indicator will be Checked. If you want you can change the PIR which was created in background.
    The Configuration settings for Autoupdate Inforecord is in OMFI trxn code.
    Go to OMFI and in Info record update tab keep Blank value agianst purchase order and save.
    From next time when you create Po you can see the item detail tab for Inforecord update is unchecked.
    Define default values for buyers
    Transaction OMFI
    Double click on the default values you want to change.
    Save it.
    Next, you've got to associate via SU01
    Click Parameters, insert a new parameter id EVO to the authorization code.
    Type in Parameters value you want e.g. 01
    You have to assign the control for ALL the SAP buyers via thier SAP users id.
    Logoff and login again. Then try to create a Purchase Order and check the default values.
    In the Fast Processing button :-
    you can choose whether to adopt automatically all the line items fields in the Purchaes Requisitions.

    Activate the return delivery in below config.
    SPRO>MM>Purchasing>Confirmations>Define Internal Confirmations cateories.
    Select the return delivery visible.

  • Services tab in Service Purchase Order for Limit SC is not filled in

    Hello All
    As per the standard behaviour if a Free text SC is created for Services , the PO is created with one line item having description as " service item " and under the Services tab we can see the line items.
    But when we create a SC from Limit for Services ( if we select Confirmation and Invoice ), The PO is created just like normal PO with item category as "D" and we do not see any line item in the Services tab in the PO.
    Could you please let us know why this difference between Free text SC and for Limit SC.

    What you describe is standard.
    1- Limit SC
    A limit item in SRM can give two kinds of R/3 PO items:
    b- If you set "Invoice and confirmation" during Limit SC item creation, this means you will confirm your item, so R/3 PO item for service can only be created as category item "D",
    Nevertheless, for your R3 PO item, you have populated an expected value (and you can fill in also an overall limit if check box "Unlimited" was not set at SC item creation).
    That's why "Service" tab is empty. The "Limit" tab is populated in this case: confirmation will be done according to PO item expected value and not according to PO item quantity
    a- If you set "Invoice only"during Limit SC item creation, this means confirmation is not allowed for you item, so R/3 PO item can only be created as item "B" (blanket). Blanket PO cannot be confirmed.
    2- Free text SC
    For a free text SC item with product type "Service", R/3 PO item will be a "D" category item.
    "Service" tab is filled in with quantity and net price: confirmation will be done according PO item quantity.
    So, main difference between Free text SC and Limit SC is quantity or expected value based confirmation.

    We are now testing PO creation (ME21n) for a ED material, but this tab folder is nowhere to find now 
    Any idea how to resolve this?  I can't find a OSS note.

    check your Tax procedure has your cdn type JMOP .
    in FV 11 maintain cdn records for both set off and  %.

    1 Call up import data screens for every import
    2 Never call up import data screens

  • Wrong CHA Charges in Imports Purchase Order

    We are in the Process of creating the Imports Purchase Order.
    The scenario is as follows:
    The Exchange Rate = 49
    We are entering CHA Charge = 2000 INR; the system converts the Condition Value as  40.82 USD in the Line Item of the Condition Tab of the Purchase Order
    I am creaing the PO, doing the GR & MIRO on the same current date.
    While doing the Goods Receipt, the following entry is passed:
    In USD:
    50100040     GR/IR ACCOUNT     1000.00-     USD
    50100300     Custom chg clg a/c     40.82-     USD
    20100020     000021000031 0000     1040.82     USD
    In INR:
    50100040     GR/IR ACCOUNT     49000.00-     INR
    50100300     Custom chg clg a/c     2000.18-     INR
    20100020     000021000031 0000     51000.18     INR
    While doing the Invoice Verification, the following entry is passed:
    400000     247 Learning Solutions P. Ltd.     2000-     INR
    20100020     000021000031 0000     0.18-     INR
    50100300     Custom chg clg a/c     2000.18     INR
    My Question is: While entering CHA charges we are entering 2000 INR, but in MIGO, it is showing 2000.18. & in MIRO is passing a difference entry of .18 INR.
    Why the system is behaving like this? Is the System passing correct FI Entries or do I need to change somewhere in the Configuration in MM / FI.
    I have maintained the condition Type for CHA as follows:
    In Control Data 1
    Cond. class A Discount or surcharge
    Calculat.type B Fixed amount
    Cond.category B Delivery costs
    In Group Condition Tab
    Group Condition - Checked
    RoundDiffComp - Checked
    GrpCond.routine 1 Overall Document
    Note: I have posted the same Query earlier also on SDN.

    Remember,
    1. Exchange rates are maintained till 5 decimals in FI. (T code OB08 - OB ZERO 8)
    2. You are keying in CHA carges in INR in PO & Clearing in INR in MIRO - Locically 1X1 formula applies.
    3. in GR, the system uses the exchange rate and arrives at USD value.
    Take the exchange rate and calculated this 2000 INR to USD, even in the calculator you will have small decimal differences.
    Normally, these differences are posted to small difference account.
    This case is SAP Std. Nothing to change in config.
