Importation PDF avec liens dans Indesign CS4

Bonjour,
Je n'arrive pas à importer certains liens d'un PDF dans Indesign.
Dans le PDF, tout fonctionne bien.
Mais lors de l’importation dans Indesign :
les liens faisant référence à un site ou une adresse mail fonctionnent bien,
ceux qui ont été créés dans le document (ayant généré le PDF) avec des signets ne fonctionnent pas.
Je ne comprends pas pourquoi.

Je vais fermer la discussion, car j'ai contourné le problème...
J'ai beaucoup cherché sur internet parce que je voulais savoir pourquoi ces liens ne voulaient pas fonctionner.
J'ai contrôlé au travers de ma palette liens si tout était correct.
Voyant que c'était le cas, et n'ayant plus d'autres solutions, j'ai donc créé mes Hyperliens dans Indesign.

Bonsoir,
Alors voila j'aimerais transférer un fichier excel qui contient des formules assez complexes dans Indesign. Le tableau sera ensuite exporté en PDF balisé et contiendra une multitude de champs à remplir.
L'importation d'un excel n'est pas compliqué, et bon nombre de tutoriels existent dores-et-déjà sur la toile. Par contre je ne trouve pas d'information (ou j'effectue mal ma recherche) qui explique comment garder les formules dans Indesign pendant l'importation.
Actuellement je sais que Adobe Acrobat intègre des fonctionnalités avancés de formulaire où l'on peut faire du javascript et même du Excel. Cependant j'aimerais si possible éviter de faire deux fois le travail, et tout importer depuis Excel dans Indesign pour modifier l'aspect graphique et exporter le tout en PDF balisé.
Pour ceux ou celles qui se posent la question du pourquoi Indesign ? C'est simplement parce qu'il offre plus d'outils graphiques que Excel.
J’espère avoir été suffisamment clair, auquel cas n'hésitez pas !
PS: Indesign n'est pas une nécessité, si je peux passer par un autre logiciel Adobe pour parfaire mon tableau excel, ça me va parfaitement.

Bien évidemment, aucune intervention sur le tableau dans InDesign : il est brut d'import !
En cas d'éventuelle modification du tableau dans Excel (cellule A1, avec incidence sur les cellules "à formule" C1, A6 et C6) :

Mais, entre nous, mon tableau ne sera jamais aussi célèbre et ne restera connu que des quelques personnes ici présentes !

Importation de PDF trop lourd dans Indesign CC

Bonjour. Je travaille sur un Mac. Je dois importer plusieurs fichiers PDF dans mon document Indesign. Ce sont des plans d'architectes avec des images et du texte (beaucoup de dessins vectoriels, le "flux de contenu" du PDF est ce qui prend le plus de volume, et pas les images). Les fichiers font entre 3 Mo et 50 Mo (pour une page en PDF).
Certain sont importés sans difficultés et d'autres mettent environ 2 heures à être importés par Indesign ! Ce n'est pas toujours proportionnel au poids du fichier. Si je transforme le fichier PDF en une image TIFF, même avec une poids identique, l'image ne mets jamais 2 heures à être importée, mais je perds toute la qualité de mon fichier vectorielle...
Ces fichiers ont déjà été réduits à l'aide d'Acrobat avec "fichier PDF de taille réduite". Je n'arrive pas à les réduire plus avec Acrobat.
Quelqu'un a-t-il un conseil à me donner ? Merci !

Merci pour le commentaire. J'opte finalement pour l'option de transformer les PDF en images TIF... 1 ou 2 sec pour les importer dans Indesign, et c'est bien plus pratique pour travailler.
En effet il semble que si j'importe les PDF de plans d'architectes (dessinés avec beaucoup de petits détails) Indesign va essayer de tout lire ligne par ligne, et si il y a des milliers de petites lignes cela devient trop laborieux.
Donc pour un document final au format A4 qui doit montrer des réductions de plans A1, cela ne vaut peut être pas la peine!

Problème de mise à l'échelle (non voulue) à l'importation d'images JPEG dans InDesign.

Bonjour, lorsque j'importe un image JPEG (sans création de bloc image au préalable) celle-ci se voit appliquer une mise à l'échelle qui la réduit, alors qu'elle devrait être importée à 100% de sa taille. Comment éviter cette réduction à l'importation sachant que j'ai ce problème uniquement sur l'import des JPEG ? Merci.
Voici un exemple du problème : je crée un carré bleu (pour faire simple) sur Photoshop, de 800 pixels de côté, j'aplatie mes calques, j'enregistre en JPEG.
Lorsque j'importe ce carré bleu dans mon document InDesign (sans avoir créé de bloc image), celui-ci est importé en subissant une mise à l'échelle de 50%
et il ne fait donc plus que 400 pixels de côté au lieu des 800 pixels. J'ai ce souci qu'avec l'import des JPEG (j'ai re-enregistré ce même carré bleu, en Tiff, en PNG
ou même en PSD et il est correctement importé à 100 % de sa taille dans InDesign). Pourquoi l'import des JPEG pose t-elle problème avec cette réduction de taille ?
Y a t-il quelque chose à paramétrer, une option, une préférence ?

Même pour le résolution le conseil était quand même bien venu car parfois
on peut passer à côté de choses évidentes^^, mais là j'ai cherché partout,
j'ai regardé dans les préférences InDesign, j'ai regardé dans les options
d'importation, j'ai fouillé partout et rien. Je n'avais pas non plus ce problème
d'import auparavant. Je me dis que c'est peut-être un bug qui est apparu
soudainement vu que ça fait longtemps que je n'ai pas formaté l'ordi et que
ça doit être un sacré bazar dans les fichiers systèmes ou dans la base de registre^^.
En attendant oui je vais utiliser ta solution de créer un bloc image et d'y importer
l'image puis faire "ajuster le bloc au contenu", c'est ce qu'il me reste de mieux à faire.

Importing Word Docs(2007) into InDesign CS4 problem

Well, I am creating a users guide in CS4 InDesgin, and I have a Word 2007 doc with tables in it, about 6 pages total, when I try to import that file, the whole InDesign freezes up and does not respond. When I have imported docs before, I had no issue? Is there something I am not doing? or is there a bug that I don't know about?

Well, I just accidently figured it out.. in Word 2007, if you save it as .docx is when I have the issue of InDesign freezing up and having to shut it down and restart InDesign. However, if I saved Word file as 97-2003 file .doc then no problem importing.. Thanks anyhow.. I hope this helps other folks..

Importing xml with xslt in InDesign CS4

i need someone's help who's an expert at xml and xslt features of InDesign CS4.
i work in publication, besides our magazines we produce yearbooks with lots of repetative information fields in them. we get the data in xml fromat which we flow in to InDesign. the xml files are very simple, here's an example:

the problem is we don't want <Company_Code> and <Job_code> elements displayed in the InDesign file.
so we created an xslt file that shoud get rid of these two unwanted elements (obviously the xml file above was pointed to this xslt file)

Problem with Buttons/Form Fields in Acrobat PDF when created in InDesign CS4

So I have been working for quite some time on an interactive form for an internal client at my job. It has two major components, one is the side bar navigation, which I created using buttons in InDesign which link to bookmarks in the document. The second aspect is that I also created "check boxes" accoring to this video: http://www.adobe.com/designcenter/cs4/articles/lrvid4434_ds.html
I have two major issues:
1. Whenever I try to convert my boxes to form fields in Acrobat it will not recognize them unless I save out 4 pages at a time (rather than the whole document).
2. I then have to combine the document and get multiple sets of bookmarks, and some bookamrks are corrupted (not working properly). Even when I try to convert the whole document some of the buttons are corrupted.
UGH tired of this project, I am really bastardizing the whole thing to get it done, but want to figure out the problem as this is an ongoing document that we will be using over and over again in future years.
I am attaching the pdf file--this is a pieced together one (saved out 4 pages at a time) (which I did do some fixes to to get buttons to go to proper locations) and the original indesign file (partial file due to size).

Acrobat's Form Wizard is good but not perfect when creating form data from a PDF. I have never encountered Acrobat not able to finish the process of creating all form fields, but have encountered very slugish performance afterwards when there was a lot of forms, buttons, and other elements within the pages. And I would say, from your attached PDF, it is pretty heavy with content. I am going to suggest an idea, but I have not tested this to see if it would work.
In InDesign, create a layer for your navigation tabs, and a layer for your text with the check boxes. Create two PDFs from ID, one PDF with just your-nav tabs, the second with just your text with check boxes. In Acrobat, perform the Form Wizard on the second PDF and see if this will finish, the idea here is to reduce the cllutter for the Form Wizard to finish. If it does, you can merge the first PDF as a layer with the second to have a completed document. Again, I have not tested this theory.

PDF printing errors with InDesign CS4 docs

I've discovered somewhat belatedly that since upgrading from CS3 to CS4, every pdf I have created in InDesign (a dozen or more) won't print. After a general error message, "the document could not be printed," I get one or both of these messages: "there were no pages selected to print" or "a drawing error occurred." I have variously tried every page selection option to no avail. I have also tried recreating the pdfs from the original ID files with different export settings, again with no success. PDFs exported from other programs are not a problem, nor is printing from InDesign. I'm on a Mac. Any thoughts?

My (admittedly Clonescript) HP prints this without error messages but prints in Courier anything done in Optima ExtraBlack, which claims to be embedded, but seems not to be. My PCL printer prints this without errors or problems.
If I bring this back into CS4 and export back to PDF, it prints properly in Optima ExtraBlack.
If I edit it in Acrobat 7, I can change Optima Extrablack (not on system) to Optima Extrablack (on system) and it prints properly.
I would want to look into your Optima Extrablack font. First try substituting different fonts, something generic like Helvetica (not as a solution, just as a test). If that fixes it, try substituting something generic only for Optima Extrablack (the "A House of BRIC" head and the drop folio). If that fixes it, make a document that uses only Optima Extrablack. If that fails, look into uninstalling and reinstalling Optima Black.
BTW, you don't have Reader 8 and Acrobat Pro 9 installed on the same machine, do you? This is not recommended, although I don't know what particular problems it causes.

Liste déroulante avec lien dans epub ne fonctionne pas sur Ipad

Bonjour je suis sous mac 10.8.4 et je viens de faire epub.
Maintenant je rajoute quelques enrichissement sous Dremawever.
Je souhaite rajouter une liste déroulante avec des liens vers des ancres nommées qui se trouve dans le chapître.
Quand je fait mes essais sous safari ou firefox ça fonctionne, mais quand je test l'Epub sur Ipad, la liste déroulante se déroule mais les liens ne se font pas.

Finding ligature text in PDF when produced from InDesign CS4

When searching the PDF, some words are not found. If I search the word "final", I find 19 occurences of the word "finally", but none whatsoever of "final". The word "final" is only found if I search for "fi nal" with a space between the "i" and "n". I previously suspected a ligature problem. Please provide me a solution and it will be greatly appreciated.

I'll repeat what we (Adobe) have advised users about since release 1.0 of InDesign.
The print function of InDesign is exactly what it claims to be. In the case of printing to PostScript printers, InDesign and the underlying Adobe graphics subsystems generate PostScript that is optimized for direct and efficient printing without any consideration whatsoever for any other purpose such as creation of PDF via distillation of PostScript.
The PDF export function generates PDF directly without any intermediate PostScript. This allows PDF to be created that retains live transparency, color management, layers, and accessibility if desired or specified. Such PDF is also generated in a manner such that it may be properly searched in Reader or Acrobat via inclusion of information that compensates for common ligatures and the actual encoding of the text and fonts in the PDF file; this is not possible with PDF generated by distillation of PostScript produced from InDesign because simply stated, such capabilities are not possible with PostScript! By the way, the inclusion of such information and support for PDF functionality one normally expects to find in Reader or Acrobat (including searchability, object metadata, etc.) is one of the major reasons why PDF files created by PDF export (and save as PDF in Illustrator) are larger than those brain-dead PDF files created by distillation of PostScript.

Impossibilité d'ouvrir camera raw avec bridge dans photoshop cs4

Bonsoir,
Je viens de changer de PC et de réinstaller photoshop cs4. Mon PC est sous Windows 7, l'ancien était sous XP.
Gros problème, je n'arrive plus à ouvrir camera raw dans bridge et mes fichiers raw sont de ce fait inaccessibles.
J'ai essayé de (re)télécharger camera raw 5.7 mais il ne se passe rien.
Pourriez vous me dire si vous avez une solution à ce type de problème car je ne peux plus travailler.

Je me permets de vous répéter que je viens d'installer CS4 sur un PC étant
sous Windows 7 et que lorsque je suis dans bridge, et dans Photoshop, Camera
Raw est inaccessible. En fait, c'est comme si Camera Raw n'était pas
installé sur mon PC alors que je l'ai (re)téléchargé et installé.

FindChangeList dans Indesign Cs4

D'Après le site Abracadabrapdf, la version de FindChangeList fournie par Adobe, ne convient pas aux usages typographiques français.
Depuis la création d'Indesign, on se demande pourquoi, Adobe n'a-t-il rien fait, pour combler cette lacune.
La version txt FindChangeList que fournie Abracadabra gratuitement, fonctionne très bien mais malheureusement elle crée un espace avec les nombres à virgule, après la virgule.
Exemple : le nombre 132,67 devient après le script 132, 67
Je ne sais pas comment modifier le fichier txt FindChangeList.
Connaissez-vous la solution pour rectifier se problème, c'est vraiment dommage, je suis obligé de vérifier tout le texte avant la relecture. Il laisse aussi un espace avant le dernier point de l'article.

J'utilise la nouvelle version txt FindChangeList (Version 2013-07-03) à mon boulot.
Malheureusement, je rencontre un problème qui ne se trouvait pas sur la version 2010.
Le script fonctionne très bien pour du texte avant l'application des styles Indesign
mais si je l'applique à du texte déjà formaté il détruit à certains endroits, la mise en page.
Ce phénomème se produit aussi si j'oublie de sélectionner le texte à nettoyer.
Mon avis, le risque que je prends sur un document d'une centaine de pages, rend ce script inutilisable.
Existe-t-il un moyen de réparer ce problème.

Button issue in InDesign CS4

I need to add text using interactive --> button option in InDesign CS4. This particular text has to appear when I mouse the text in PDF after generating from InDesign CS4. I don't want to add those text in PDF itself.
Indesign CS3 has button options to add text but InDesign CS4 does have that option to add text. Please guide me how to add text using Button in ID CS4.
What I did was: I have created a button and add text using button option and save it. When exporting PDF from ID CS3, I have enabled the option Interactive elements. After generating PDF from ID CS3 I have mouse over the text, whatever text I was inserted in button it appeared in PDF well.
But this option is not available in InDesign CS4. I hope you understand it clear now.
I have taken the screenshot below from InDesign CS3 and attached the same for your reference. This option does have in InDesign CS4. Please help me out in this regard.

Hyperlinks on master pages not working after distilling (InDesign CS4)

We have started using weblinks in the PDF versions of my print magazine.
As PDFs exported in InDesign are bloated, we use this workflow for creating the PDF issues:
Export print-ready PDFs of layouts in InDesign CS4 (Mac)
Combine PDFs into a single file in Acrobat 9.5.1
Crop pages and export combined PDF as PostScript file
Distill PostScript file in Distiller 9.5.1 using default "Smallest File Size" (with Page Thumbnails) setting
We hyperlink all web addresses in the body copy.
We also hyperlink the magazine's website address on the primary master page (A). All of the other master pages in the magazine are based on A-Master.
We create hyperlinks by selecting the link, using the New Hyperlink command in the Hyperlink panel, and uncheck the Shared Hyperlink option.
When we export the layouts using InDesign – either using our printer's settings or InDesign's Smallest File Size setting – the links contained on the master page work.
But these links disappear when our PostScript file is distilled into a PDF.
I know there is a bug in CS5.5 that can cause this problem. But is there any workaround or solution for this in CS4?

But I still didn't see any Composit Fonts folder. Do you have any suggestions on where I can look for this folder?

Script for soft kinsoku override in InDesign CS4?

I have a javascript for the soft kinsoku override for IDCS5.5 but not for ID4. Can someone please post the .jsx? Thanks!

I've should have been more specific...I've imported text from Word to InDesign CS4. I didn't realize the paragraph style had the Kinsoku: Soft kinsoku attached to it until I'd already formatted much of the 400 page book (there's a plus sign next to my TXT paragraph style because of this). I have character styling within the paragraphs and don't want to option click the style to remove the Kinsoku. Isn't there a java script available that I can run on the whole InDesign CS4 document that will clear this out. I found one online for InDesign CS5 but not for CS4. I do not know how to write scripts. Thanks!
