Importing/Exporting - I am no man of international business - Blerg

When I import photos from my camera (Canon Power Shot S5) into iPhoto they automatically turn to .jpegs. This is no problem when I view them on the Mac, however, they remain such when I export them to a flash drive. When I take the flash drive to the drug store to use the instant photo printer the photos are all bleary. I know that I need to increase the pixel size but I don't know how to do this.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

HOw are you exporting?
If you select the photos in iPhoto and export (file menu ==> export) as kind = current you should have great photos to print at our local photo store
If you use the finder to go get them you (not recommended for many reasons) you may well get the wrong version and have bad photos

  • Import & Export of Internal table

    Hello All,
In my requirement I need to call the MB5B program RM07MLBD. I used the code like this.
    SUBMIT rm07mlbd AND RETURN
                WITH matnr   IN  so_matnr
                WITH werks   IN  so_werks
                WITH datum   IN  so_budat.
Now from the RM07MLBD program I need the get the values of the table * g_t_totals_flat * to my zprogram.
Is it possible to import & export the Internal table from one program to other.
    Regards,
    Anil.

    Hi,
You can export the internal table ot memory id and can access the (Import) in the called program.
Consider this small code from ABAPDOCU.
DATA text1(10) TYPE c VALUE 'Exporting'.
DATA: itab TYPE TABLE OF sbook,
          wa_itab LIKE LINE OF itab.
    DO 5 TIMES.
      wa_itab-bookid = 100 + sy-index.
      APPEND wa_itab TO itab.
    ENDDO.
    EXPORT text1
           text2 = 'Literal'
      TO MEMORY ID 'text'.
    EXPORT itab
      TO MEMORY ID 'table'.

  • Import export internal table

    Hi.
How can i make an import export of an internal table but with the sap memory.
    Thanks.
    Regards
    Miguel

If the number of entries in table is less following logic could be used..
Suppose wa_tab is the work area and lit_tab is the table that you need to import and export into lit_new.
    DATA : lv_count_char TYPE CHAR3,
                lv_field TYPE char6.
    DESCRIBE TBALE lit_tab LINES lv_lines.
SET PARAMETER ID 'LINES' FIELD lv_lines.
    ---> Setting the value
    LOOP at lit_tab INTo wa_tab.
    MOVE sy-tabix TO lv_count_char.
    CONCATENATE 'FLD' lv_count_char INTO lv_field.
SET PARAMETER ID lv_field FIELD wa_tab.
    ENDLOOP.
    ---> Rerieving the value
GET PARAMETER ID 'LINES' FIELD lv_lines.
    DO.
    lv_count = lv_count + 1.
    MOVE lv_count TO lv_count_char.
    CONCATENATE 'FLD' lv_count_char INTO lv_field.
GET PARAMETER ID lv_field FIELD wa_tab.
    APPEND wa_tab TO lit_new.
    IF lv_count GE lv_lines.
    EXIT.
    ENDIF.
    ENDDO.

  • When I try to import, I receive the following message: "An internal error has occurred: not enough memory".  I always download my photos onto an external hard drive.

Yesterday,I downloaded an update for Lightroom 5.  Now when I try to import, I receive the following message: "An internal error has occurred: not enough memory".  The message comes up right after I click import, before I choose a file to upload. Here is the information I can think of that might be needed to answer this question:
    - I always download my photos onto an external hard drive. It is about 10 % full.
    - It says I have Lightroom 5.6  64 bit
    - I am working from a newer laptop (Windows).  The internal drive on the laptop has 289 gb and I am using 61 gb total memory.
    - I have edited 2794 photos in Lightroom and it is all in one catalog.
    - I did not have this problem until I made the update.  I did have my first "bug" earlier this week when one of my photos had a line show up through the middle of it when I exported it. I was able to export it a second time without the line.
If there is more info. needed, let me know.  I do photography as a hobby and know enough about Lightroom to edit out blemishes and adjust color balance, but not too much more, so forgive my ignorance if this is an obvious fix.
    Sincerely,
    Adrianne

Not Enough Memory typically refers to RAM.  How much RAM do you have on your 64-bit OS computer?  Do you have other programs running that may be using most of the memory?

  • Custom HTML importer/exporter, how to preserve HTML id, class, style

I need to implement a custom XHTML importer/exporter and CSSFormatResolver.
    If I for example have a p-element: <p id="p1" class="xyz" style="margin:0.7em; color:#3300FF">lorem ipsum</p>
How do I map the HTML attributes: id, class and style in order to preserve them in the ParagraphElement in order to use them during the custom CSS cascade process and for custom HTML export purposes (the exporter needs to spit out <p id="p1" class="xyz" style="margin:0.7em;  color:#3300FF">lorem ipsum</p> again.
    1. is this mapping correct or will this interfere with internal TLF formatting:
    HTML attribute
    ParagraphElement property
    id
    id
    class
    styleName
    style
    userStyles
    2. What is the purpose of FlowElement.coreStyles (where are those styles applied)?
    3. What is the actual purpose of FlowElement.userStyles, are those styles just for non TLF (end developer custom) purposes or does TLF use them at any point to set the element format properties?
    4. Any other pointers or related (non flex framwork) examples are welcome
    Thanks.
    Cheers, Benny

Your mapping looks correct to me for id and styleName.
I think what you are saying about style mapping to userStyles is correct.  Yes userStyles is an object of key value pairs holding all the non-TLF styles for a FlowElement.  coreStyles holds all the TLF styles for a FlowElement. TLF does use userStyles itself for the linkHoverFormat, linkActiveFormat and linkNormalFormat styles.
Setting FlowElement.userStyles TLF will replace the current set of userStyles with those in the supplied Object.  That Object will be treated as a dictionary of stylenames and values.
Normally I'd expect you'd use the FlowElement.setStyle API which figures out if a particular style belongs to coreStyles or userStyles and then sets the new style appropriately without changing the others.

  • Import/Export in Background submission

    Hi experts.,
I am passing two internal tables to another program using Submit statement via Job. Then i am importing those two tables in another program. However i think the tables are not populated. What could be the reason for this. Also how can you debug the background job submission?
    Thanks.
    Warm regards,
    Harshad.

    Hi
For tables , in your import export statement , just see have you used [ ] , if not the please use this.
If does not work then as well , then see to use EXPORT TO datbase as follows
EXPORT obj1 ... objn TO DATABASE dbtab(ar) ID key.
    Refer this link
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_45b/helpdata/en/34/8e73a36df74873e10000009b38f9b8/content.htm
b> after executing your program (first get the job name in debugging mode) , go to sp01 ,  check tyhe checkbox against your job name ,  just write JDBG (transaction code area) and press enter , it will take you in debudding your job. First it will execute some sap standard program , just get it done and then it will jump top your code.
    Hope it is helpful.

    Hi,
In ECC 6 for import from memory you need the import structure will be flat , character-type data
    The following is from documentation.
    +
If MEMORY is specified, the data cluster that was written to the ABAP Memory under the identification specified in id with the statement EXPORT is imported. For id, a flat , character-type data object is expected. This object contains the identification of the data cluster.
    +
    otherwise use this way
    TYPES:
      BEGIN OF tab,
        col1 TYPE i,
        col2 TYPE i,
      END OF tab.
    DATA:
      wa_indx TYPE indx,
      wa_itab TYPE tab,
      cl      TYPE mandt VALUE '100',
itab    TYPE STANDARD TABLE OF tab.
    IMPORT tab = itab
      FROM DATABASE indx(xy)
      TO   wa_indx
      CLIENT cl
      ID 'TABLE'.
    WRITE: wa_indx-aedat, wa_indx-usera, wa_indx-pgmid.
    ULINE.
    LOOP AT itab INTO wa_itab.
      WRITE: / wa_itab-col1, wa_itab-col2.
    ENDLOOP.

  • Memory Limit for "IMPORT/EXPORT from MEMORY ID" statement

    Hi All,
Can anyone tell me whether there is any memory limit exists for "IMPORT/EXPORT from MEMORY ID" statement.
Like may be we can transfer xx MB of data via this......or it is open, we can transfer any amount of data to ABAP memory via this.
    Regards
    Munish Garg

    1. Each user sessions have external sessions and each external sessions have internal sessions.
    2. The programs being executed in the internal sessions can access ABAP memory
3.ABAP memory is a storage area for internal program variables like fields, structures, internal tables,,They can be passed  between internal sessions of an external session.
    4. you can transfer data through ABAp memory using IMPORT and EXPORT statements
    5. after IMPORT FROM MEMORY ID <id> , you can use sy-subrc to check the existance of the cluster ID. here sy-subrc is not used to check whether the Import was successful or not.

  • Import -Export Utility in Shared Services

    Hi,
Can anyone help me to get through the import-export utility of Shared Services?
    I need to know
1)How to export security file information stored in shared services using xml file( I need to run it in weekly basis)
2)How to import it back if ever the security file gets corrupted?
Please help me with th same.

If you go with the csv format (yes, I know, you wrote xml) you don't need an internal id field.
Here's a snippet of a file I used to build a group in Shared Services 11.1.1.3:
    #group_children,,,,
    id,group_id,group_provider,user_id,user_provider
    XXXXPlan_All_Users,,,HoldenW,XXXXDC
    XXXXPlan_All_Users,,,CooperG,XXXXDC
XXXXPlan_All_Users,,,WayneJ,XXXXDCI'm sure I got the format by first manually creating the group in SS, then exporting it, then modifying it. Yes, I did actually delete that native group in SS before I reimported from this file.

  • How to import/export value for ekko-netwr

    Hi friends,
amount value 'ekko-netwr'  from incude LV61AA43 should pass to include LV61AA43 for this iam using import/export paramters but there is no parameter id for netwr . How can i pass this amout to this rountine.
    Thank u ,
    prasad.

    hi,
A simple example of ABAP memory is using the EXPORT/IMPORT statements.
Here in this program, I get the data, export it to memory,
clear out the internal table in my progam, then reimport the data into it and write out the data.
You probably wounldn't do this in a normal program,
but this is how you can pass data from program a to program b when A Submits program B.
    report zxy_0002 .
data: it001 type table of t001 with header line.
    select * into table it001 from t001.
    export it001 = it001 to memory id 'ZXY_TEST'.
    clear it001. refresh it001.
    import it001 = it001 from memory id 'ZXY_TEST'.
    loop at it001.
    write:/ it001-bukrs, it001-butxt.
    endloop.
    SAP Memory
SAP memory is a memory area to which all main sessions within a SAPgui have access.
You can use SAP memory either to pass data from one program to another within a session,
or to pass data from one session to another.
Application programs that use SAP memory must do so using SPA/GPA parameters (also known as SET/GET parameters).
These parameters can be set either for a particular user
or for a particular program using the SET PARAMETER statement.
Other ABAP programs can then retrieve the set parameters using the GET PARAMETER statement.
The most frequent use of SPA/GPA parameters is to fill input fields on screens
    ABAP/4 Memory
ABAP memory is a memory area that all ABAP programs within the same internal session can access
using the EXPORT and IMPORT statements.
Data within this area remains intact during a whole sequence of program calls. To pass data
to a program which you are calling,
the data needs to be placed in ABAP memory before the call is made.
The internal session of the called program then replaces that of the calling program.
The program called can then read from the ABAP memory.
If control is then returned to the program which made the initial call, the same process operates in reverse.
    SAP memory
The SAP memory, otherwise known as the global memory,
is available to a user during the entire duration of a terminal session.
Its contents are retained across transaction boundaries as well as external and internal sessions.
The SET PARAMETER and GET PARAMETER statements allow you to write to, or read from, the SAP memory.
    ABAP/4 memory
The contents of the ABAP/4 memory are retained only during the lifetime of an external session
(see also Organization of Modularization Units).
You can retain or pass data across internal sessions.
The EXPORT TO MEMORY and IMPORT FROM MEMORY statements allow you to write data to, or read data from, the ABAP memory.

  • Import/Export publishable packages using WLPI APIs

    Hi,
I have been trying to create a utility to perform import/export of publishable
packages. Here is the problem that I encountered:
When creating the PackageEntry, I need to have a map of all references that a
publishable object has, however, the method to retrieve the referenced publishables
is no longer in the Publishable interface
    public java.util.List getReferencedPublishables( java.util.Map publishables)
If I pass a null for the referenced publishables, then the export will work, but
when I tried to import the package, I got the following error. Any workaround
to the problem or is there something that I missed?

There may be options to your process, but as I have mentioned in other strings, the Journals in the BPC for Microsoft version are sequenced.  That means that there is a system generated sequence ID for each journal.  Any individual selection of journals would possibly cause an issue for the sequence. I have not seen any past work in SSIS to detach the records for export or import.  It may be possible, but I would assume it will take some core SQL coding.
Regarding your error, you may need to verify that you have the security set correctly to use Journals and use the Data Manager capabilities.  Typically, when security tasks are not correct, you will get an error similar to your HRRESULTX.... error.
An option for loading the details is to build a worksheet in EVDRE, aggregate the data and send it to the cube at a level that is easy to save the file and submit consolidated results.  Just make sure you send all "like" records at an aggregated to a base member, and send to a datasrc to identify the extra details. Then store the excel file with the input values.
    Hope this helps.

  • IMPORT/EXPORT through classes

    Hi,
I have to export dynamic internal tables to another program, but client has asked not to use import/export.
Searched on google and SDN, got to know that it may be acheived through classes.
Please help me if someone has worked on that, also if some has sample code for that, please let me know.
    Thanks and Regards
    Manu

You can use the Shared Objects instead of the IMPORT/EXPORT to shared buffer. But, the Shared Objects is not the ultimate solution to replace the IMPORT/EXPORT to memory ID.
Check this WIKI on Shared Objects: http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/ABAP/ABAPObjectsShareMemoryEnable+%28SHMA%29

  • Acessing BSEG by import/export method

    hi !
anyone please gexpalin me or give me links to how to access the BSEG TABLE  by IMPORT EXPORT OR macros method! o
reward points will be given to best answer

    IMPORT - Get data
    Variants
    1. IMPORT f itab FROM MEMORY.
    2. IMPORT f itab FROM DATABASE dbtab(ar) ID key.
    3. IMPORT DIRECTORY INTO itab FROM DATABASE dbtab(ar) ID key.
    4. IMPORT f itab FROM DATASET dsn(ar) ID key.
    Variant 1
    IMPORT f itab FROM MEMORY.
    Additions
    1. ... TO g (for each field f to be imported)
    2. ... ID key
    Effect
Imports data objects (fields or tables) from the ABAP/4 memory (see EXPORT ). Reads in all data without an ID that was exported to memory with "EXPORT ... TO MEMORY." . In contrast to the variant IMPORT FROM DATABASE , it does not check that the structure matches in EXPORT and IMPORT .
The return code value is set as follows:
SY-SUBRC = 0 The data objects were successfully imported.
SY_SUBRC = 4 The data objects could not be imported, probably
because the ABAP/4 memory was empty.
The contents of all objects remain unchanged.
    Addition 1
... TO g (for each field f to be imported)
    Effect
Takes the field contents stored under f from the global ABAP/4 memory and places them in the field g .
    Addition 2
    ... ID key
    Effect
Imports only data stored in ABAP/4 memory under the ID key .
The return code value is set as follows:
SY-SUBRC = 0 The data objects were successfully imported.
SY_SUBRC = 4 The data objects could not be imported, probably
because an incorrect ID was used.
The contents of all objects remain unchanged.
    Variant 2
IMPORT f itab FROM DATABASE dbtab(ar) ID key.
    Additions
    1. ... TO g (for each field f to be imported)
    2. ... MAJOR-ID maid (instead of ID key )
    3. ... MINOR-ID miid (together with MAJOR-ID maid )
    4. ... CLIENT h (after dbtab(ar) )
    5. ... USING form
    Effect
Imports data objects (fields, field strings or internal tables) with the ID key from the area ar of the database dbtab (see also EXPORT )
The return code value is set as follows:
SY-SUBRC = 0 The data objects were successfully imported.
SY_SUBRC = 4 The data objects could not be imported, probably
because an incorrect ID was used.
The contents of all objects remain unchanged.
    Example
Import two fields and an internal table:
    TABLES INDX.
    DATA: INDXKEY LIKE INDX-SRTFD,
          F1(4), F2 TYPE P,
          BEGIN OF TAB3 OCCURS 10,
            CONT(4),
          END OF TAB3.
    INDXKEY = 'INDXKEY'.
    IMPORT F1 F2 TAB3 FROM DATABASE INDX(ST) ID INDXKEY.
    Notes
The structure of fields, field strings and internal tables to be imported must match the structure of the objects exported to the dataset. In addition, the objects must be imported under the same name used to export them. If this is not the case, either a runtime error occurs or no import takes place.
Exception: You can lengthen or shorten the last field if it is of type CHAR , or add/omit CHAR fields at the end of the structure.
    Addition 1
... TO g (for each field f to be imported)
    Effect
Takes the field contents stored under the name f from the database and places them in g .
    Addition 2
... MAJOR-ID maid (instead of ID key )
    Addition 3
    ... MINOR-ID miid (together with MAJOR-ID maid )
    Effect
Searches for a record with an ID that matches maid in the first part (length of maid ) and - if MINOR-ID miid is also specified - is greater than or equal to miid in the second part.
    Addition 4
    ... CLIENT h (after dbtab(ar) )
    Effect
Takes the data from the client h (only with client-specific import/export databases).
    Example
    TABLES INDX.
    DATA F1.
IMPORT F1 FROM DATABASE INDX(AR) CLIENT '002' ID 'TEST'.
    Addition 5
    ... USING form
    Effect
Does not read the data from the database. Instead, calls the FORM routine form for each record read from the database without this addition. This routine can take the data key of the data to be retrieved from the database table work area and write the retrieved data to this work area schreiben; it therefore has no parameters.
    Note
    Runtime errors
Depending on the operands or the datsets to be imported, various runtime errors may occur.
    Variant 3
IMPORT DIRECTORY INTO itab FROM DATABASE dbtab(ar) ID key.
    Additions
    1. ... CLIENT h (after dbtab(ar) )
    Effect
Imports an object directory stored under the specified ID with EXPORT into the table itab .
The return code value is set as follows:
SY-SUBRC = 0 The directory was successfully imported.
SY_SUBRC = 4 The directory could not be imported, probably because an incorrect ID was used.
The internal table itab must have the same structure as the Dictionary structure CDIR (INCLUDE STRUCTURE ).
    Addition 1
    ... CLIENT h (after dbtab(ar) )
    Effect
Takes data from the client h (only with client-specific import/export databases).
    Example
Directory of a cluster consisting of two fields and an internal table:
    TABLES INDX.
    DATA: INDXKEY LIKE INDX-SRTFD,
          F1(4), F2 TYPE P,
          BEGIN OF TAB3 OCCURS 10,
            CONT(4),
          END OF TAB3,
          BEGIN OF DIRTAB OCCURS 10.
            INCLUDE STRUCTURE CDIR.
    DATA  END OF DIRTAB.
    INDXKEY = 'INDXKEY'.
    EXPORT F1 F2 TAB3 TO
           DATABASE INDX(ST) ID INDXKEY.    " TAB3 has 17 entries
IMPORT DIRECTORY INTO DIRTAB FROM DATABASE INDX(ST) ID INDXKEY.
Then, the table DIRTAB contains the following:
    NAME OTYPE FTYPE TFILL FLENG
    F1 F C 0 4
    F2 F P 0 8
    TAB3 T C 17 4
The meaning of the individual fields is as follows:
    NAME : Name of stored object OTYPE : Object type ( F : Field, R : Field string / Dictionary structure, T : Internal table) FTYPE : Field type ( C : Character, P : Packed, ...)
Field strings and internal tables have the type C. TFILL : Number of internal table lines filled FLENG : Length of field in bytes
With internal tables: Length of header line.
    Variant 4
IMPORT f itab ... FROM DATASET dsn(ar) ID key.
    Note
This variant is not to be used at present.
