Impossible to set up NAT on the new gen AE?

I live in a dorm, and the internet requires a login through terminal. On my old AE I could log in with my computer, and all other devices on my network would have access to the internet as well (this is NAT, right?).
Well, now I bought the new router because its features appealed to me, however, even if I import the exact configurations from the old router it won't work!
I set it up via "connect using DHCP" in the "Internet" tab. Then I move on to "Network" tab and set router mode to "DHCP and NAT", and when I press update I get the message "Invalid value - The DHCP range you have entered conflicts with the WAN IP address of your base station."
It says DHCP range: 10.0.1.2 to 10.0.1.200.
What am I supposed to do? The Airport Utility gives absolutely no hints or clues about what's wrong. It simply says "You have problems. Fix them".
And why do the exact same settings cause conflicts, when my old router worked just fine?

I suggest that you locate the DHCP tab and change the range to read something like  10.0.2.2 to 10.0.2.200 and give that a try.
When you click Update to save setttings, you will likely be told about a Double NAT. You will have to click to "Ignore" the problem and hope for the best since the campus router is likely already providing NAT services as well.
Ideally, the AirPort would be configured in Bridge Mode, but that will likely not allow multiple devices to connect to the AirPort Extreme unless your school allows that type of setup.
