If you mean the drop marker then you can still get the History of the Back and Forward buttons if any by either Left-Click and hold for a second or by Right-Clicking them.
If you still want the drop mark there also then there is this Extension at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/backforward-dropmarker/

jnMake an archive copy from one of the MBP (File>Export Bookmarks). You may not need it, but if things sync the wrong way on iCloud, you may lose them on all your devices.
Then check out iCloud on the iMac. Is your stuff on iCloud.com? Maybe try logging out and back in again. -

Do you have a Menu Bar with File-Edit-View etc?
If not press the alt key to make it appear.
From the Menu Bar select View-Toolbars and turn the missing toolbars back on.
Write and Address Book are on the Mail Toolbar.
FYI: The alt key or F10 will make a missing toolbar appear in most applications. -

Well, I for one really hate when they change this stuff. They get us used to doing it one way for years and then they change it. Why? Really, seriously, truly......WHY?
In fact, I originally noticed it had changed and then when I'd hit it, I thought it required me to touch both so I ended up with an apostrophe but then also a letter "l". I just left commas everywhere I went for a while cuz it ticked me off so bad I just rebelled.
In ios5 it was actually faster because it's the same move and time involved, but without the extra "slide". So, in essence, Apple went backwards.

I'm updating from my iPhone 4 to the iPhone 5 and have been 'restoring' for 2 hours now and the progress bar still states I hae 6 hours remaining. Will it really take this long? How long should a restore take? It's a 32gb device. Thanks.
I am having this problem. At first with the new iPhone 5, and then with the iPad 2. I am not sure why this is happening.
My gut feeling is this is an iO6 issue and here's why -
The problem mainly occurs with apps. I have about 150 apps, and when I plugged in the phone, iTunes went to sync all of them. The process would hang up after about 20 - 30 apps were loaded onto the phone. I could tell where about the process hung up because the apps on the phone showed up as "waiting".
Then on the iPad 2 I plugged in to sync and saw there was a huge "Other" component in my storage. It required me to restore the iPad 2 from backup. With this restore the same issues occurred - putting the apps back on the iPad would hang up. The videos on the iPad also got stuck - maybe after about 10 hours of videos transfered iTunes crashed.
My solution has been to soft reset the device, restart Windows, and continue the process until it's complete. This is remarkably inefficient and time-intensive but everything works with patience.
I have been wondering if others have had these same problems. -

be sure they are activated.
Imap if you want to access it from several places. That way you have the original on Gmail-server and copies on your pc.
Pop on the other hand loads down the emails. perfect if its just one pc.
(i'm not sure the Gmail-server deletes them thou). -
RE: TABS ARE WINDOWS!
The Windows bar already functions as a tab bar. Those tabs are called "windows." So, I find Firefox tab windows superfluous. How can I disable them completely from Firefox 23? I don't need what is essentially TWO windows bars covering up the entire width of my widescreen monitor's image! I already have a Windows bar at the bottom of my screen and, if I really wanted to, I could change ITS position to the top of the screen, so that it would LOOK like the Firefox tab windows bar. Firefox TABS are, essentially, a superfluous SECOND WINDOWS BAR.
Here are my reasons for why I'd rather use Mozilla's Firefox, than Microsoft's Internet Explorer or Google's Chrome. I love and admire Firefox for Mozilla's intent on good security, for Firefox's Personas add-on, and for Firefox's free use of the Ad-Block add-on which, as you know, has the distinct virtue of reducing screen clutter--the last of which is my motive for wanting to get rid of the SUPERFLUOUS Firefox tabs "windows" bar. I am dreadfully sick of companies forcing miscellaneous bars (mostly representing marketing campaigns trying to sell me something) into my browser (and down my throat) every time I download something. (In case you haven't guessed, I am deliberately referring to your Firefox tabs bar as a "Firefox tabs 'windows' bar," because TABS are WINDOWS!)Let me clarify even more. The Firefox add-on you mention does not remove "tabs" windows. It only HIDES the "tabs" bar when there is only one "tab" in that window. It DOES NOT end "tabs." It does not turn "tabs" off.
I know this, because, even with the add-on you recommend, the "tabs" bar often re-appears when I open a link, which--for some unknown reason--Firefox defaults to opening in a second "tab" within the same window, rather than putting it in a new Windows bar window. This, of course, disregards what I want to happen.
I want to use my Windows bar to control my windows. I do not want my Firefox browser controlling my windows--which it calls "tabs." Can you tell me how to shut off "tabs?" -
One of the reasons I upgraded to GarageBand 11 was that I wanted to use the tutorials and the free lessons. But although I've been able to download all the free tutorials, I am missing the first one that is supposed to come preinstalled. Can somebody tell me where or how can I get the "Intro to guitar lesson" that I am missing?
I have this problem as well. All the other lessons are there, but not the first one. I see 5 or 6 threads here about this but no replies. What's the deal?

I have recently returned from a holiday in New Zealand and transited for 6 hours in China. Since returning to the UK my maps app on Iphone 5 will not show my surroundings in hybrid or satellite. I have also noticed that the data from section that usually displays data from TOM TOM and others now just says others. Has anyone encountered this before or know how to get the Satellite function on maps back?
Your phone is "stuck" in the Chinese version of maps. This also happened to me once I got back from China recently. I believe I solved the problem by logging out of iCloud and reloging in.
BTW the App Store app was also stuck in China. It only displayed Chinese characters and I had to log out and relogin.

Thanks. I thought of trying it. It just happens if I do it it'll erase all data previously stored in. I have backed up the Iphone this morning without having tried first the new settings. So, the data stores in this computer is the new one that I may not use. It is the same I want to forget. What if I use the backup I have restore on the other computer I have? May I restore to that previous backup and erase this new one I have just got?

I changed my hotmail password on my home computer, and now when I try to get email on my phone and use my new password, it says it's not correct. I just did an update a few days ago, but still can't access my email on my phone. Any suggestions???
You shoulcn't, but download and use the free app My Contacts Backup to back up your contacts before you try. It will back up your contacts as an attachment to an email which you send to yourself. If you somehow lose your contacts by deleting the account you can later open this email on your phone and tap the attachement to re-import your contacts.

Strangely enough when I reinstalled from scratch and launched iTunes, there were songs in my library, including those which I thought I had deleted earlier today. I am really confused.
I just want a simple, automated iTunes solution.
I hate Windows.

My playlists have vanished. How can I restore them
My playlists have vanished from my page.. However, I continue to have my entire library intact. Also, I notice that a 'Cloud' icon appears in each song displayed in the library. I would appreciate thoughts from your level of knowledge.

Joe ArellanoBe specific. From what you say it sounds like you see your music in iTunes but not your playlists. This would be extremely unusual since if your lose the file with your playlists you also lose the listing of your music. Do you mean you see your music files in Finder?
Your playlists are part of the library.itl file which is part of a series of files and folders in your iTunes folder which generate what you see in the iTunes application. You need to replace that folder. What isn't clear from what you said is where your media files are located. They too are normally located in a media folder in the iTunes folder. You may have changed the location but you didn't mention that.

Is there a way to make the new tags look like the old style labels? Those dots are just too small. I preferred when the entire file name was colored, or even the old OS9 colored icons. Much easier to spot.
