In need of major help - exchange server

I need some major help. I just bought my first Blaclberry (8330) and can't get the email to work. We are set up on exchange with Outlook web access. When I go through all the steps I get a message that says a connection could not be established. Check that the server name is correct and the server is available. I know the server name is correct because I use it to connect to my email away from the office on my home computer as well as my laptop. I'm not very computer minded so can anyone tell me what I'm missing. When I logged on to my email account from the home computer tonight i got a message about a certificate error. Would this make a differnce? We have a guy who works on our computers and he isn't that familiar with the Blackberry. He mentioned something about using a POP account. I had no luck there either. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

sounds like your exchange server is using an invalid ssl certificate. Contact whoever manages your Exchange environment and ask him to walk through the process with you.

I need to buy exchange 2013 license but problem is that I have total 175 users in my organization and then exchange standard license support upto 5 mailboxes and exchange enterprise support upto 100 mailboxes. My boss want to have each user have separate
mailbox..
So i am looking a solution for 175 users with 175 mailboxes. If anyone can help me and guide me which exchange server is best and how can i manage 175 separate mailboxes ????
note: in future i also want to have symantec exec backup solution (mailboxes archiving) for that exchange server which i deploy in my organization.

Regardless of which version of the Exchange 2013 will not limit the number of mailboxes, however，different versions of the
restrictions embodied in the number of databases.

HELP - Exchange Server 2007 Transport Rule Issue

Hi all,
sorry if here is not the place to put my question but I did not find another forum, so if anyone can help me I appreciate.
- I have an Exchange Server 2007 SP3 environment with 1 MBX Server and 3 CAS/HUB Servers.
- I have created a Transport Rule that said:
"all emails that have @test.com in BCC field are dropped off except one group can send" .
The issue is the rule doesn´t work.

Newbie needs some direction with Exchange Server 2007

I am in school and I have been given an assignment that is kinda hard for me. I am not asking for answers but I am asking for direction. If you guys can point me to some research that will help me It would be much appreciated.
Here is the scenario:
Your organization plans to open a remote location that requires a server to host Exchange Server 2007
with the CAS, Hub Transport, UM, and Mailbox roles. Your Senior Administrator has assigned you the
task of choosing the hardware to support this server. Using the links below and internet research, design

A: I suggest we use the multiple core processor, because Exchange consume much hardware resources. including CPU,RAM and so on, when we use multiple core processor, Exchange will deal with a mount of request without no response. It is convent for us to manage
Exchange server.

Need some major help guys

ok, i was updating itunes with my iphone plugged in about 3 weeks ago. the power button got hit while in the middle of installing. when i turn my computer back on, my itunes would freeze whenever my iphone is plugged in.
the computer recognizes the phone. it still prompts me asking if i want to import pics, yadda yadda. but itunes will not work at all. the second i unplug my phone, itunes comes back to life and works completely fine.
i dont know what to do....i habe rebooted my comp, reset the settings on the phone, reinstalled itunes, even deleted the syncing history on itunes, but nothing will work.
what should i do? could i completely reset my phone? it drives me crazy, cuz i cant update my phone or anything. also, i have no problems with the phone, everything else works, except itunes.

Yes sounds like you'll need to reboot the iphone with hard reset or maybe even he full restore...you also may have to put the phone into recovery mode to restore it with what you've described...

I am not sure if anyone will help me here but this is important to me. I paly game alot @ games.com this is a java ran site. there are some people there that out of pure evil will whisper to someone and delete there screen name. there is a java code that does this. there is also a way to make yourself undeleteable. could some one please help me know how to do this. Need some quick help with server proxy on PI 7.1 system

Hi,
I am implementing a server proxy on the PI 7.1 system to do some logging to a table. So, when I go the the proxy in sproxy and generate it, in the interface section on the properties tabs I only see a drop down that says point to point enabled. There is no implementing class to click into and thus not method to populate with the custom code. Some direction would be appreciated, I have been working 7.0 for a while, so the missing implementing class is new to me! I know the method name has changed from the execute_asycronous etc... Am I going to the wrong place now to find the implementing method?

this is my first post .. first of all .. so i`ve never used these .. but I haven't had a problem with my Zen nano until a week ago .. i recently deleted everything off my computer and had to re*install the program to use ZEN .. and now when i upload music to my zen .. it likes to shut off after like 30 seconds of me turning it on .. and when i restart it the time it stays on varies .. and yes i've changed the batteries , i've even switched to a different brand of batteries .. i do not know why it just won't stay on anymore? can anyone help? this is really frustrating? =[

Insert Install DVD 1, boot with the c key pressed, select your language, and when the menu bar appears, select Utilities menu > Reset Password.

when i put music in my library it goes there. but then when i update my ipod all of the songs go on. I have been told to uncheck the boxes next to the song, which i did, but all of the songs still go on. is there any way to have songs in your library but not on your ipod. the check thing won't work. any tips appriciated

There are various methods of transferring different songs to different iPods with a single iTunes library.
One is to manage the songs manually.
With this setting, you can drag and drop songs/playlists etc onto the iPod from iTunes, and also delete and/or edit songs which are currently on the iPod without affecting the iTunes library.
If you wish to keep the convenience of automatic sync, then you could set the iPods to sync with "selected playlists". This setting can be found in the iPod summary screen under the 'music' tab. With this setting, different playlists can be transferred and later deleted from each iPod without affecting any playlists stored in iTunes or the playlists on the other iPods.
Also, on the 'summary' main page you will see the option to "only sync checked items". With this setting selected, if you remove the check marks from any songs in iTunes, they will not be transferred to the iPod. You can restore the check mark if you want to put the songs back on the iPod at a later date.
Be aware that when playing songs in iTunes, any songs that do not have a check mark against them will be skipped over and will not be played.

Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard "Certificate Authority Service" / Exchange Server 2010 EMC not starting and no AD connectivity for authentication.

I am a new IT Manager at this company and need assistance big time. Their environment looks as follows:
Server 1. Domain Controller Server (Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard) running active directory.
Server 2. Email Server (Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard) running Exchange Server 2010 .
* Note. No back ups to work with aside from whats mentioned below.
DC had a virus infection causing a lot of issues on the shared network drives 2 days ago locking up all the files with a crypto ransom virus. Running Avast suppressed the infection. Had to recover the file shares which luckily had a back up.
The issue is that the Exchange Server 2 post this lost connectivity with the AD Server 1. Exchange Server 2 when launching EMC could not launch the console stating the following:
"No Exchange servers are available in any Active Directory sites. You can’t connect to remote
Powershell on a computer that only has the Management Tools role installed."
Shortly after I found that it is possible the EMC launcher was corrupt and needed to be reinstalled following another blog post. I deleted the exchange management console.msc per instructions only to discover I couldnt relaunch it because there was
no way how. So I copied another msc file that happened to be on the DC Server 1 back to Exchange Server 2 and got it to launch again.
Another post said that it might be an issue with the Domain Account for the Computer, so to delete it in the AD Server 1 only to find that rejoining it from Exchange Server 2 using Computer>Properties> Chage Settings > Change is greyed out because
it is using the Certificate Authority Service.
I tried manually re-adding the computer in AD and modeling permissions after another server in group settings but no go. After this I was unable to login to the Exchange Server 2 with domain accounts but only local admin, receiving the following Alert:
"The Trust Relationship between this workstation and primary domain failed."
I tried running the Power Shell tools on Exchange Server 2 to rejoing and to reset passwords for domain accounts as noted in some other blogs but no luck as the Server 2 could not make the connection with Server1 or other errors it kept spitting out.
I also during the investigation found the DNS settings were all altered on both the Server 1 and Server 2 which I luckily was able to change back to original because of inventorying it in the beginning when I started.
I need help figuring out if I need to rejoin the Exchange Server 2 manually by disabling the Certificate Authority Service (or removing the CA as listed here:

Installing second Exchange server 2010 with all roles (CAS, HT and MB) in the same domain?!

first of all thanks for reading this topic :-)
In our enviroment, we have a Exchange 2010 server (Version: 14.01.0438.000), whitch is installed with all server roles (CAS, HT and MB) on one server(OS is Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise). This exchange server sends all external mails to a smarthost (Redddox).
We are using Outlook Anywhere, Active Sync and OWA.
Now, we need to migrate this Exchange server to another one, because we think, that the server´s OS is corrupt and also, there are wrong licenses installed. The "new" server will have the same OS Version and Exchange Version (2010).
Currently I´m a little afraid, to install a new one - because I think when I will install the CAS and HT role, something will happen in my productive enviroment (Autodiscover, SMTP Connectors, Cerficates a.s.o.).
To install the mailbox role, I think this will not affect anything.
Can you help me a little bit in what to take care of? Do I need to preconfigure something, before I will install the second exchange? What about the version / service pack of Exchange to install? Must it be the same as installed on the first one?

Below are the steps if you are not planning to upgrade.
1) Install new Exchange2010-SP3 Server all roles Please check
this
2) Install the certificate in the new server by requesting a duplicate from the 3rdparty CA. Or export from the existing Exchange 2010 and import to the new one. Please check
this
3) Set your autodoscover, OAB, ECP, OWA URLs same as the current Exchange. Below artciles will help you to do that.
For OAB, Autodiscover, EWS please check steps 5,6,7in this
For setting OWA and ECP URLs please check
this.
4) Move few mailboxes as a test and check. If no errors move the rest.
5) Move your OAB generation server to the new server. Please check
this
6) Move you public folder contents to the new server you have. Please check
this
7) Configure your firerwall to receive emails on the new server and other services like EWS, OWA, ActiveSync.
8)
Add the new server as the source server and in the current send connector and remove the old server from the send connector.
Shutdown the server for a couple of days and monitor. So you will know if you missed something.
Uninstall Exchange2010 from the add remove programs.

Getting tasks, calendar event from MS Exchange Server

I have a problem. I need to connect to MS Exchange Server and read different kind of information. I was advised by my manager to look for libraries to do so. He said that there are probably some and if not then you should think how to do it without them. I looked for some and discovered that there are some kind of them but they are for money $$$.
I need to connect to Exchange Server to read tasks, calendar events and mail. I looked throw the forum and found some topics, but no results. I found a framework which is disributed for free under GNU licence www.omesc.com
Please, tell me, anybody, is there are any open source free libraried to do that. And if not that can you give me some ideas about how can I connect to Exchange Server and get some information from it.
I am desperate, I don't know what to do, please anybody help me...

You can use directly a jndi ldap context if the Ldap connector of your Exchange server is up...
It worked perfectly for me as anonymous...
One other way, if you have an active directory, you can connect to it as Ldap with ldap authentication ( mandatory for directory browsing... )
