In smartform, dash(-) is printing as hash(#), How to avoid it.

In smartform, I am printing the customer address from KNA1,
In database, it is showing as dash(-)
but, it is printing as hash(#),
How to avoid it.
In debugging also, it is showing as dash(-).
Can u plz write the solution?

"replace NO-BREAK SPACE U+00A0 to normal space
CALL METHOD cl_abap_conv_in_ce=>uccp
EXPORTING
uccp = '00A0' "(This is hex value of special char)
RECEIVING
char = lv_rep.
replace all occurrences of lv_rep in lv_eknam with ' '.
i use this to remove those spaces in record and appeared as #### in smartforms.
For your case, please pass in hex value for dash - instead.
It should work.

If you are using the good old REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY function module, you should be able to suppress the List Info if SY-BATCH is 'X' using the IS_PRINT parameter.
MOVE 'X' TO is_print-no_print_listinfos .
Presumably there is a similar parameter using classes.

How to avoid the printer device option screen when calling smartform?

i have create a smartform and i have called it from my program.
i dont want to show the printer device options how can i achieve that ?
below is the code for calling my smartform.

Smartforms Multiple Page Printing

Hi Guys,
I know this could be regular posting from others but it seems that i can't any solutions around.
The Problem is about printing multiple copies from Billing Document at a time. What user requested was to have the word "Original" in the first copy and the subsequent copies will have the word "COPY". i know that this can be done in SAPScript by modifying the print program but how about Smartforms???
I tried NAST (IS_NAST) table as passed by smartform but the field ANZAL seemed to return '2' when i need 2 copies. How do i know when is printing the first copy and when is printing the subsequent copies? any status from any tables indicating i am printing the first or the subsequent copies? Tried NACH but it didn't help much neither....

Ok,
so transaction SMARTFORMS
set the name, press CHANGE
Select Form Interface (in the tree)
You are in the Import parameter, you have to create one import parameter. Choose a name for example WV_TYPE, with assignment TYPE and reference CHAR1.
After this just generate the function module.
And now, when you will show the new function module you have the WV_TYPE parameter that is present.
So, in the Text_Element or anything else you just have to set in the Conditions the test WV_TYPE = 'X' to display this Text_Element

You need to turn on Printer Sharing on both the PC and OS X. I can't help you on Vista but in OS X it's System Preferences - Sharing - check the Printer Sharing box.

1. The smartform name is SD_PACK_ETIK.
2.Just copy the standard program into Zprogram and make chanes and assign in NACE with the form.
3.But,in smartform lable printing is not possible.
4.you can print barcodes.

Hello Experts,
Can anyone please let me know as how to avoid/delete the blank page at the end of adobe form output.
I have a master page with header n footer and a body page seperate.
For ex.. I have 3 line items and i want each line item to be displayed in the new page. I am able to get this functionality . I have set the settings in the paginationb tab of the subform as
"after " Go to Next content Area" " but an extra page is getting printed at the end. 3 + 1 extra pages total. I want to avoid this blank page. I have checked the Allow page break with in content box but it is still not working.
Can someone guide me as how to solve this problem.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

hey mahesh,
this normally happens because of triggering a new page manually, what u would have done is that you would be checking for the new line item and when this condition is satisfied , you are triggering a new page , the reason for the last blank page is that the condition gets satisfied ( beacuse the line item number changes from the last line item no to initial or space).
This can be handled by doing the following
By knowing the number of line items by the following stmt.
describe table itab lines v_lines.
Now you have the value in v_lines.
use a counter in ur form and keep it increasing it by 1 ( say v_sno ) ie v_sno = v_sno + 1 in the loop of ur internal table.
ONLY WHEN V_LINES IS LESS THAN OR EQUAL TO V_SNO , TRIGGER THE NEW PAGE
this should be along with the condition which u have already put, ie when ever line item no changes
when both these conditions are satisfied , then only the new page will be triggered.

in fico check printing i have copied the standard script F110_PRENUM_CHCK
and devloped a z to add the company logo
the problem with the printout is that it displays an additional sample printout on first page
followed by the required print on the next page
how to avoid the sample printout .
the check printing is done through f-58

Hello Darshan,
In F-58: "Output Control" block there is a checkbox for "Test Prinout".
Plz uncheck the box & you will not get the sample print out.

How to avoid printing of void cheques

In the check printing program FBZ5, whenever there are more than 25 line items, the first two cheques are getting cancelled and the third cheque is getting printed and thereby wasting the first two cheques.
I would like to know, how to avoid printing of such cancelled cheques.

you can use like this when you r going to FBZ5 tcode in the right hand side there is a tab called Output Control, there if you check the test print out it ll give you this result
Indicator: Test Print
If you select this indicator, the print program carries out a test print (for purposes of fine-tuning the printer output) before printing the actual payment media.
so before taking the original print out you can able to understand which is going to be cancel and which one is going to print .
