Incorrect values in available budget in report S_KI4_38000050

Dear Experts,
We are getting incorrect values in available budget column against Fun/Fund center -commitment item in report S_KI4_38000050.
Actually we have posted entries against fund center/commitment item without releasing budget and it allowed post entries due to deactivated availability control.
Before Posting FI entry:
Release Budget=0
Assigned=0
Available=0
Commitment=0
After Posting entry of Rs. 5000
Release=0
Assigned= -5000
Available=5000
Commitment= -5000
Ques-1 Why available is 5000?
Now if I released some amount say 10000 then,
Release=10000
Assigned= -5000
Available=15000
Commitment= -5000
Ques-2 How to correct values mentioned above?
As I think, the correct values should be:
Release=10000
Assigned= 5000
Available=5000
Commitment= 5000

Shishir

  • Value category wise budget and actuals display in S_ALR_87013558 report

    Hello PS consultants,
    There is a requirement in my project, where the business users want to see the report on hard budgeted cost element group , soft budgeted cost element group and total in different rows. In my project, there is one value category which has been made exempt from availabilty control(for repairable spares) and there are others which are under availability control. Also, the business wants to see all the columns as per S_ALR_87013558 report in the new report per the 2 categories of cost element group and total (but the budgeting here is done as per the WBS level, so how to satisfy this need also). The S_ALR_87013558 report gives the various value categories, but only assigned values against it(as budget is not against cost element). Also, in this report , it is not possibel to exclude one value category to see only the hard budgeted cost element group.
    Please help.
    Regards

    Thanks Sam.
    But my requirement is to exclude one particular value category, as it is not possible to include all the value categories in the report as there are large number of value categories. Is there any way to exclude one value category?
    Thanks Abdul.
    But if I suppress the value category , then it will be suppressed from the central level in PS and hence, it will not be included in any calculations in any of the standard report. Is there any way to suppress one value category from only one report, without affecting other reports?
    Please help.

  • Report - Date wise Actual Expenditure, Committment, Available Budget

    Hi Experts,
    We have SAP PS in place. We are using the same for our Internal Investment Projects. We allocate budget as an " Overall " value & not for a specific " Period ".
    Our Management wants a report which should give an information as per details given below.
    Requirement - On a given date (Example 31.08.2010) system should able to give data on " Actual Overall Expenditure till the given date ", " Committment till the given date " & " Available Overall Budget till the given date ".
    In report S_ALR_87013558, sytem gives the above values only if Budget is allocated as " Year wise/Period wise" & not if allotted as an " Overall Values " to the project.
    Does any body has got an idea about any such report available in the system or do we need to develop this report?
    Thanks in anticipation.
    Warm Regards
    Ashok

    S_ALR_87013558 also gives Overall budget, all you have to do is scroll the horizontal bar and see each and every column or otherwise see the column display settings whether it has been selected or not.
    Also, S_ALR_87013558 report will not give details upto a specific date. It gives details upto current date(the date on which the reprot is executed)
    One more thing, Budget can be either overall or fiscal year wise. There is no period wise budget.
    To my knowledge, only line items reports can be run for a specific date, but in all other Std. reports you can go to the details of period level not at date level. If at all you want a report at date level, then you will have to develop it,

  • One report to check status of project/wbs(TECO/REL)+ available budget

    Dear All,
    Please advice. Is there any report (one for all ) which can show Status of project/wbs + available budget of a project. I tried cns43, cn41 and report s_alr. But it shows in different tcode/report. Hopefully there is a standard report that can show these in one report.
    Many thanks in advance.
    Nies

    CN41 shows the Current Budget and not Original Budget.
    If Available Budget in your terms means difference between Current Budget and Actual, you can include a column 'Difference' from menu.
    Select the Column Budget 1st, Menu Edit>Comparison> Choose Actual Cost.
    The output shows the difference and percentage. Problem now is you can't view the status.I can't think of anything standard which exactly gives the ouput columns you are expecting.

  • PS - PO Excise Value not deducted from Project Available Budget

    Hello SAP Gurus,
    My problem is that when an Excisable PO is created against SAP Project then the Excise Value is not included in Budget - Commitment/Actual Amounts.
    PO Basic Value + Tax (VAT/CST) is deducted from Available Budget, but Excise value is not deducted even after Invoice Booking.
    Please let me know where do I need to change so that the complete PO value is deducted from Available Budget.

    Hi Bindal,
    Origin of Project costs lies in other modules.
    Pls get you Tax procedure checked by FI/MM. In Tax procedure there will be various Conditions used by your organization. Each Condition type will have an Account Key.
    If that account key has 'Non Decutible' checked then the related tax amount will form cost on your project and vice versa.
    if your organization is producing something using thses input materials then it would want to benifit itself by taking credit for Modavat/Cenvat against the Excise and other recoverable taxes it paid during the purchase of input materials.
    Hence as a correct business practise such taxes will be correctly set as 'Dedutible' in Tax settings so that instead of getting inventorized the'y be offsetted and amount would be posted to some clearing amount.
    In short MM would (correctly) not recognize these taxes amounts as cost and thus these values will not flow to PS also as Commitment cost or actual/statistical cost.
    with regards,
    Ravi Shrivastav

  • Report to correct FD33 report is showing incorrect values ??

    Hi Guys,
    Will appreciate your help on below issue.
    The "RVKRED88 - Reorganization of SD credit data after updating errors" report is showing incorrect values.
    It is specially observed for invoice correction requests that are credit blocked.
    The doc flow is like  Order (say value  1000 $), delivery, shipment, Picking, GI, billing, accounting all cleared/complete.
    The invoice corrrection req (say value  -ve 50$)  was then created with reference to the billing doc.
    The RVKRED88 report shws the original order as open and also shows an open delivery value of 1000$ + 50$= 1050$.
    Is this behaviour correct? If not what might be the cause of this? and how to correct it?

    I am not sure, how come you are getting correct numbers for UK plant if BX is not loaded. You can get numbers correctly only in one situation which is your initial stock at that plant was ZERO, which is practically not possible.
    You said you are loading for Denmark only.
    Was the BF init done only for UK?
    How come you are loading BF Delta for UK only?
    Did you check properly that BX is not loaded into production by changing the date range. Make sure you put the lowest date range in the from field. I would put 01/01/1000
    As you said ISS is coming right because those are movements and they dont have to do anything with initial stock, but initial stock and movements affec your Total Stock Key Figure.

  • Function Module to obtain Initial Budget and Available Budget of WBS

    Hi,
    I need to calculate the value for Initial and Available budget for WBS which comes in the report S_ALR_87013558 or S_ALR_87013648.
    Is there any FM to calculate for the particular WBS.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    Try using KBPR_READ_DATA function module.

  • Why the system is picking negative value in commitment budget?

    While creating a GRN I am getting an error message u201CItem 001 WBS element MA.01.01 budget exceededu201D checking the same in budget report, I found that that the PO value of the element is negative in commitment budget amount details.
    Why the system is picking negative value in commitment budget?
    How can I fix the system from not allowing negative value?
    Example: Total budget in WBS Element MA.01.01 is Rs.10,000.00.
    The PO value for PO001 Rs.4,000.00, PO002 Rs.3,000.00 & Rs.2,000.00.
    It means the available budget is Rs.1,000.00.
    But when creating another PO value of Rs.2,000.00 the PO is getting save.
    After that the system is considering any of the PO as negative. When I am trying to create GRN on that particular PO system is giving error message and asking to increase budget.

  • Bug-fix needs your vote: queries w/ joins against SQLite return incorrect values because Adobe treats PK col as alias for rowid when it should not

    For someone new to Adobe the forums and products can be bewildering. I've been advised to repost something I posted in Flash Data Integration in this forum.
    Here is the link to the post I put there:
    http://forums.adobe.com/message/2363777#2363777
    I have reported this bug: http://bugs.adobe.com/jira/browse/FB-23750
    I gather bugs get fixed if people vote for them to be fixed. Please vote for it to be fixed. It is serious, and you might not even realize you're suffering from it because the incorrect values returned by the query will seem perfectly plausible.
    If the link above doesn't work, here it is again:
    When I execute the following query in Flex and/or Lita:
    select wrdid, uspelling from WRD WHERE uspelling = 'wingeard'
    the results are:
    uspelling...wrdid
    wingeard   3137
    Look at what comes back when I execute this query using .NET provider by  Robert Simpson for SQLite and SQLite Manager by Mrinal Kant:
    SELECT     rowid, wrdid, uspelling
    FROM         WRD
    WHERE     (uspelling = 'wingeard')
    rowid.......wrdid...........uspelling
    3137........3042............wingeard
    No wonder none of my queries with joins is working correctly in Flex.
    wrdid is defined as "int" not INTEGER.
    http://www.sqlite.org/lang_createtable.html (see INTEGER PRIMARY KEY section):
    "The special behavior of INTEGER PRIMARY KEY is only available if the type name is exactly "INTEGER" (in any mixture of upper and lower case.)  Other integer type names like "INT" or "BIGINT" or "SHORT INTEGER" or "UNSIGNED INTEGER" causes the primary key column to behave as an ordinary table column with integer affinity and a unique index, not as an alias for the rowid."  [emphasis added]
    Now, I happen to think the SQLite developers made a mistake here in failing to follow standards, preferring not to break legacy code. They'd rather break current code instead???  I would not characterize this as a "corner case" and the bug-at-hand is de facto evidence of that.

    Did you try running the queries I posted? What were your results with those?
    What I am seeing is that when I use "int PRIMARY KEY" in a CREATE TABLE statement, that column becomes the special "rowid" column. I believe this is also what you are seeing.
    However, what confuses me is how you're getting a table with three columns "rowid", "id", and "name" in the first place. When I run this SQL...
    CREATE TABLE test
    id int PRIMARY KEY,
    name String
    ...I get a table with two columns: a normal column named "name", and a special primary key column named "id", which for this table is identical to the column represented by the rowid identifier.
    However, if I understand correctly, your table has three columns, "id", "name", and the special primary key column (i.e. "rowid"). Is that right? Can you give me the SQL that was used to create the table, or tell me how the table was created (e.g. if you used a tool like Lita) so I can try to re-create your exact situation? That would really be very very helpful -- it was the only detail that was missing in your last post, so I had to guess on that one detail.
    I tried something else to re-create your situation. I ran the following statement:
    CREATE TABLE test
    id int
    name String
    That gave me a table with two real columns plus the rowid column. Then I ran the three insert statements on that table, and when I ran the select statement I got the expected result:
    id     name
    1     one
    2     two
    7     seven
    Again, I'm guessing that your table was created differently than my test table, and that's the explanation for the difference.
    Some other possibilities to consider:
    The screen shot doesn't show a SQLResult object, so it seems that you're using some wrapper library or code to execute the query, or at least that you've copied the SQLResult.data Array to another variable named results. Although it seems less likely to me, it's possible that somewhere in that code something is getting scrambled. (But I'd rather rule out AIR as the underlying cause first before attempting to explore those paths.)
    As a side note, if you really want the database to have three columns (the special rowid column and your two columns id and name), and you don't want id to be the special rowid column, then it sounds to me like you don't actually want to define id as the primary key. If you just want the id column to have a constraint that prevents duplicate values, you can define it as a UNIQUE column:
    CREATE TABLE test
    id int UNIQUE,
    name String
    That gives you the same database-enforced constraint of not allowing duplicate values, but it tells the database explicitly that id isn't the same thing as the rowid primary key. (You can still join another table to the id column even if it's not defined as the primary key.)
    P.S. I'm sure you don't mean it this way, but using gigantic red text comes across like shouting -- it's very "loud". I'm trying my best to understand the issue you're having and help you resolve it, and using multiple colors and font sizes doesn't really make your post any more or less clear. Just because I ask you questions, or say that I'm seeing different results than you, doesn't mean I don't believe that you're seeing the results you're seeing. I've definitely seen strange variations and cases where something happens on my computer but others can't duplicate it on their computers -- so I believe that you are getting the results you're getting. I'm just trying to figure out how to make it so that I can also get those results, so that I can pass that on to the engineers who are in a position to make changes.

  • Reservation under project must check available budget  (PS-IM)

    Dear SAP,
    1. I have a requirement in which the reservation must check for the budget at the time of creation.I have made all the necessary integration settings but still it goes through without checking the budget.
    Please advice.
    Many thanks in advance.
    Nies

    Hi Shrikant,
    Appreciate your feedback. I agree that the material reservation do not contribute to the assigned value (before actual). However, i dont agree for another point. Normally, i create reservation under project(network and activities), after i save it, it goes to remaining order plan. After i implemented the notes 853530. The remaining order plan (report S_ALR_87013558) goes to available budget.  Actually we need remaining order plan( reservation) to be shown in the report and the unused material planning (after force close PO) will go to available budget.
    Please advice if you have some solution for my case.
    Thank you.
    Best Regards,
    Denis Evitanto.

  • Budget Commitment Report - S_ALR_87013558

    We have an issue with the Budget Commitment Report S_ALR_8701355 as explained below.
    Org Structure:
    A* Projects are separate small Projects to track Capital and Operating Expenses
    But all the Capital Purchases are done only through C* WBS. And accordingly Capex budget is maintained only for C* WBS. So AWBS has been linked to 3 CWBS ( SW, HW & Dev SW)  in one of the user field of C*WBS.
    Shopping Cart will be raised using CWBS in SRM. But once PR has been created it replaces the account assignment field with AWBS. And later even the Asset posting happens only with A*WBS
    Issue:
    While using Budget Commitment Report - S_ALR_87013558, CWBS is giving Budget and A WBS is giving Actual cost. This Actual Cost pertains to 3 C* WBS Elements (SW, HW & Dev SW). So now Business requires to merge the cost of A* WBS with respective C*WBS Element.
    We are able ascertain the cost of AWBS but not able find a logic to distribute this cost across respective C WBS.
    Current Logic of the Program:
    Any document posted using WBS Element will update table RSPCO with just Amount, Period & Value Type (Actual/ Budget / Plan) . So Budget Commitment Report S_ALR_87013558 will fetch the details from this table alone.
    Could any of you please let us know how to deal with this problem without altering the existing Org structure .

    Hi Rajesh,
    I think the report is showing correctly as per the logic. But please elobrate us why the PR created with account assignment C* WBSE is replacing by A* WBSE.
    If the account assignment in PR and PO is replacing by A* WBSE then obviously actual cost will book against A* WBSE and report S_ALR_8701355 will display the same.
    you can post cost from AWBSE to C WBSE uisng KB15N.
    Regards,
    Nag.

  • Java returning incorrect values for width and height of a Tiff image

    I have some TIFF images (sorry, I cannot post them b/c of there confidential nature) that are returning the incorrect values for the width and height. I am using Image.getWidth(null) and have tried the relevant methods from BufferedImage. When I open the same files in external viewers (Irfanview, MS Office Document Imaging) they look fine and report the "correct" dimensions. When I re-save the files, my code works fine. Obviously, there is something wrong with the files, but why would the Java code fail and not the external viewers? Is there some way I can detect file problems?
    Here is the code, the relevant section is in the print() routine.

    Figured it out. The files have a different vertical and horizontal resolutions. In this case the horizontal resolution is 200 DPI and the vertical is 100 DPI. The imgage width and height values are based on those resolution values. I wrote a section of code to take care of the problem (at least for TIFF 6.0)
       private void setPageSize(int pageNum) throws IOException
          IIOMetadata imageMetadata = _reader.getImageMetadata(pageNum);
          //Get the IFD (Image File Directory) which is the root of all the tags
          //for this image. From here we can get all the tags in the image.
          TIFFDirectory ifd = TIFFDirectory.createFromMetadata(imageMetadata);
          double xPixles = ifd.getTIFFField(256).getAsDouble(0);
          double yPixles = ifd.getTIFFField(257).getAsDouble(0);
          double xRes = ifd.getTIFFField(282).getAsDouble(0);
          double yres = ifd.getTIFFField(283).getAsDouble(0);
          int resUnits = ifd.getTIFFField(296).getAsInt(0);
          double imageWidth = xPixles / xRes;
          double imageHeight = yPixles / yres;
          //if units are in CM convert ot inches
          if (resUnits == 3)
             imageWidth = imageWidth * 0.3937;
             imageHeight = imageHeight * 0.3937;
          //convert to pixles in 72 DPI
          imageWidth = imageWidth * 72;
          imageHeight = imageHeight * 72;
          setImgWidth((int) Math.round(imageWidth));
          setImgHeight((int) Math.round(imageHeight));
          setImgAspectRatio(imageWidth / imageHeight);
       }

  • Report parameter startdate has a defaultvalue or a valid value that depends on the report parameter startdate forward dependencies are not valid

    Hi,
    Am trying to develop a report the parameter has an issue, it gives me an error.
    There are 2 parameter (1st is Date range like start and end date and 2nd is Loan number)
    When ever I select date range the Loan number parameter should go blank. If I input a loan number then date range should go blank.
    What should I do. Please help
    ERROR --report parameter startdate has a defaultvalue or a valid value that depends on the report parameter startdate forward dependencies are not valid

    Hi Kay_MD,
    If there are only two parameters, we can use first parameter charge the second one, but the second one cannot charge the first one in turn. Because parameter forward dependencies are not valid. To achieve your requirement, we can create another parameter
    to control Date_range and Loan_number parameters. For more details, please see:
    Add a parameter named ReportParameter1 with two available values: Date_range and Loan_number.
    Use the following expression as the default value in Date_range parameter:
    =iif(Parameters!ReportParameter.Value="Date_range",1,"") (1 means a useless value)
    Use the following expression as the default value in Loan_number parameter:
    =iif(Parameters!ReportParameter.Value="Loan_number",1,"") (1 means a useless value)
    Please note that the Date_range and Loan_number parameters should enable Allow blank value (“”), and the blank values should also be contained in available values.
    If there are any other questions, please feel free to let me know.
    Thanks,
