Infinite loop - first start of Adobe Photoshop Elements 13

Hello,
I just bought a new version of Adobe photoshop elements 13 (CD-Rom with Key). So I installed the software, created an account, registred the software in my account and then I started the application.
What now happens is a little bit confusing. I get a window with the hint "Login necessary - To activate your software bla bla bla". So I use my Adobe-ID and log in as described. Then I get a window to accept the software licence agreement. I accept them, the window closes and nothing more happens.
I start Elements again, I get the hint "Login necessary...", Login, licence agreement, close and so on. I am not able to start this software. Any hints?

  • Probleme nach Start von Adobe Photoshop Elements 10.0.0 unter Windows 7 32-Bit SP1

    Hallo zusammen,

  • Problem with start up Adobe Photoshop Elements 8

Tried to start up my Adobe Photoshop Elements 8 on my MacBook Pro running on Maverick 10.9.5  it would not startup and this message popped up!
    Can anyone help?
I need to use my scanner for scanning and Photoshop Elements to merge the pix together (usually magazines or newspapers for my client's PR Reports).
    Appreciate your help much!

    Hello Barbara,
I had my Mac rebooted with a roll back to an earlier setting of three weeks back.  But I have been using the Photoshop Elements for ages. And it had been working fine even with Mavericks.
I gave since downloaded the license repair from Adobe, but I cannot get it to work, as when clicked on the installer app, a window pops up to say that the power pc is no less longer supported!
Am really stressed as I need to scan and Photomerge the mags and dailies for my clients.
Hope you can help me out.
    Thanks!

  • Start up Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 - why does it stall at "restoring people recognition data" 42%

I just downloaded and installed Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 & Adobe Premiere Elements 11 (Windows,English). When it starts up it stalls at the dialogue box "restoring people recognition data" 42%.
I have to close the program then the whole thing happens again.
Pretty frustrating for $150............... to upgrade from Elements 8

This seens to be a problem of Media Analysis which generally arises if there are too many/too large assets in your catalog.
    Just try the following steps:-
    1. Go to Edit->Preferences->Media Analysis
2  Go to People Recognition options
    3. Uncheck the "Analyse Photo for People recognition".
    4. Press "OK"

  • Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 activation issue on MAC running Parallels Desktop for Windows 7

I have a MacBook Pro laptop running both OSX and Windows 7 (using Parallels Desktop). I installed the MAC version of Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 when I booted in the MAC OSX mode. I also Installed Adobe Photoshop 10 in the Windows 7 mode (running as a virtual machine using Parallels Desktop). Both programs indicate that they are activated. If I boot the computer in the Windows 7 mode (not using Parallels Desktop) and start the Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 program it indicates that it is NOT activated and that I "already have two copies activated".
Question: Since I only actually have two copies activated how do I get the program activated for the Windows 7 boot operating mode?
    Thanks in advance.

  • Move photos from old PC running Adobe Photoshop Album 2.0 starter edition, to new PC running Adobe Photoshop Elements 8.

    Hello,
My old PC (Windows XP) has 8500+ photos with loads of tags attached using Adobe Photoshop Album 2.0 starter edition.
I'm trying to move all photos, and tags, to my new PC (Windows 7) . I have installed Adobe Photoshop Elements 8 on my new PC.
All photos have been copied from the hard disk on the old PC to the hard disk on the new PC.
But how do I move the database/tag information between the old and new PC / between' Photoshop Album 2.0 starter edition' and 'Photoshop Elements 8'?
All help is highly appreciated, as I really don't want to add all this valuable tag information manually...

    function(){return A.apply(null,[this].concat($A(arguments)))}
All tags are correct, but PSE automatically reconnected only approx 5000 of the approx 8500 pictures (the picture directory has been changed)
See this FAQ for how to beat the Reconnect command into submission:

  • Why does adobe photoshop elements 6.0 not show up for a download choice of putting my photos into my computer, I'm on windows7.  I'm sure it did when I first got my computer.  Could it be that I have lots of other photo software that may be interfering?

If you open the Organizer and go to Edit>Preferences>Camera or Card Reader, do you have Auto Launch Adobe Photo Downloader on Device Connect checked?
Try checking that if you don't.

  • I can't start Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 and I'm also running Windows 8.1 pro. I se only the start menu and when I click on the organizer or editor nothing occurs.

    Hi,
Try creating shortcuts direct to the applications and use them each time.
Create shortcuts pointing to the following files:-
    Organizer: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Elements 12 Organizer\PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe"
    Editor: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 12\PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe"
Please let us know if they work.
    Good luck

  • Adobe Photoshop Elements crashes before it starts.

A few days ago, I tried to open up Photoshop Elements 7, and... nothing.  My cursor showed that it was loading, but then it stopped.  No window opened, nothing.  So I went to a picture and tried opening it with Photoshop.  The loading window popped up and then another window which "Adobe Photoshop Elements (Editor) has stopped working" and "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.  Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."
Other than that, I have nothing.  I've tried multiple solutions suggested online, but nothing has worked.  Before someone suggests the ctrl+alt+shift click editor at the welcome window, I cannot do that.  It's impossible because the welcome window never appears.
I really need this program to do artwork for posters and such, and I'm rapidly approaching my deadline.

Before someone suggests the ctrl+alt+shift click editor at the welcome window, I cannot do that.  It's impossible because the welcome window never appears.
Go into the program files and find the exe file and start it from there with the keystrokes.

  • IPhoto with Adobe Photoshop Elements 4 and Adobe Bridge

I have not used iPhoto before now as I have been downloading photos from my Canon and Nikon cameras using their software. I have now moved everything into iPhoto but cannot find iPhoto using Adobe Bridge so I am unable to do any editing using Elements 4. Previously I could find the Canon and Nikon photos using Adobe Bridge. With a simple click on the relevant photo it opened up in Adobe Photoshop Elements 4 and I was able to edit it. Now using Bridge I simply cannot find iPhoto thus I cannot use PSE4. Can someone help before I go crazy ? I havde called Apple support but they have been unable to help me and suggested using Discussions@Apple

Many thanks for your quick response although, as a new iMac user, the mere mention of the word "corrupt" scares me ! I previously used a PC with Windows XP and PSE3 and loved being able to sort all my photos into albums with PSE3. Unfortunately the PSE4 which I have installed on my iMac doesn't let users sort their photos into albums and the only alternative is Adobe Bridge. I only recently started to use iPhoto after a visit to an Apple Store and it's great being able to catalog my photos so easily. Unfortunately PSE is far and away superior to any editing software that iPhoto has to offer. Anyway, I'll cross my fingers and try your suggestion first thing tomorrow morning.

  • Can't Download Photos to Adobe Photoshop Elements after iPhone Upgrade

Howdy, I have been using Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0 with my iPhone ever since I bought my iPhone 3G when they came out and have never had any trouble. Whenever I synced my phone and there were new photos on it, Photoshop Elements would start it's photo downloader program and let me download the pics from my phone and put them in the organizer. Then it would let me delete them.
But this weekend I took a bunch of photos and now Photoshop Elements startes up during the sync as usual, but before it lets me download any pictures I get a message from Photoshop Elements saying "Downloader needs to close" (or something like that) and I never get the chance to download the pictures. The only way I have to get the pictures off my phone right now is to mail them as attachments.
A few days ago I upgraded to the 2.2 iPhone software and I was wondering if this might be the source of the problem. Has anyone else heard of any problems like this?

I'm having the same problem with Elements 6.0. The downloader starts up and I can see the first few pictures in the downloader before the error message comes up and the downloader must shut down. The only way to get pictures off the phone is through Win Explorer. But, when you try to remove the pics off the phone (i.e. move or delete) the phone reboots. The only way to remove the pics is one at a time on the phone itself.
It is extremely frustrating that Apple has created a decent way to sync music and video, but no iTunes way to handle pictures. Honestly I amazed that Apple has worked so hard to be the standard for music, etc. that they just leave it to the consumer to figure out the picture stuff. Come on Apple.

  • Adobe Photoshop Elements 7.0 (Organizer) has encountered a problem and needs to close.  We are sorry

I have uninstalled and reinstalled and tried repairing, reorganizing the catalog but nothing seems to work.

    spartan@343 wrote:
I can start PSE but when I start the organizer I get the error once the organizer opens.
You haven't said how are you starting the PSE?  There are many ways, of course, but the two main methods are:
    1) clicking on the desktop icon
    2) Start/Windows Logo >> All Programs > Adobe Photoshop Elements
Now I suggest use the second method and then go into Edit first.  Once you are in Edit, click on the Organizer icon on the top right corner.
This should start the organizer. Hopefully this would fix it forever when you exit from the PSE because the settings are normally saved on exit.
