Infotype changes ( Urgent)

Hi all,
Facing some problems in changing Infotypes.
Scenario: Have to add another tab with some Input fields in the standard Infotype 0045.
Problem: Have added the tab with the fields . But the fields are appearing as output fields and moreover even the other tab fields are coming as output fields .i.e greyed fiels.
Cant understand why this is so? Can someone who knows to modify Infortypes suggest and guide.?

Hi,
first you have to extend the infotype 0045 for those fields by adding CI_INCLUDE for the infotype.

Check that following are maintaned.
·     Entry in table T777D for the technical characteristics of an infotype.
·     Entry in Table T77ID for the data field structure Psnnnn for the infotype.
Make the required settings to table T582A in Customizing for Personnel Administration.

Log HR infotype changes without a Mod like Change Documents

We need some help with a requirement. We need to monitor HR infotype changes. We would like to be able to trigger a event like a change pointer and IDOC. However, we are trying to stay away from mods to our system. We are needed fields from 0000,0001,0003,0006,0105. Most of the fields do not have Change Documents set and would required us to create a mod to flag the data elements. We also tried to trigger and monitor these changes in ZXPADU02 until we realized that once we get to 0003,0006,0105 in zxpadu02 we don't know what the person is inserting in that specific infotype, because the exit function module does not bring in information on changes to those infotypes. We would really like to be able to trigger off of a event without creating a mod. We would like to not have to run a program to read the logging files because we like the responsiveness and real time actions of triggering and not running a periodic program. We are trying to push these changes out of SAP.

Have a look at HRMD_A05 this idoc type can transport the infotypes you mentioned and of course you can activate change pointers for that in bd50 (message type hrmd_a)

How to delete HR Infotype Change log

Hi,
I would like to know if there are any means to delete the HR infotype change log. I've already executed the standard program RPUDELPN to delete all the employee records every time an environment is refreshed from the production image, however both the long term and short term infotype change log can still be access. I need to remove those change logs as well to prevent unauthorized access to these confidential data.

Thanks. However, I'd like to know if I can delete the change documents that were already logged.
My scenario is that in production environment, we have turn on the logging and change documents are already created. Now we have refresh the development environment with the production images, so I've to delete all the employee records as well as the change documents in order to prevent unauthorized access to these confidential information.
The standard program RPUDELPN already delete all the employee records but not the change documents. Where and how can I delete both the long and short term document as well?

Just in case you aren't already aware of it..
If you are on ECC6, you can enhance almost any Class/Function Module without the need for an Access key from SAP. you can insert a Pre/Post/Overwrite method..there are also several implicit enhancement points in each method/function module, where you can plug in custom code..

HR Infotype change pointers

Hi Friends,
I have been trying to find how to activate the infotype change pointers and I could not find any helpful thread in this forum, in my case the program RPUAUD00 does not return any change logs.
Could someone please tell me how to activate the change logs for all the HR infotypes?

I guess maybe you miss some steps in configurations.

Tracking infotype changes

Hi,
I got a requirement like this. I have to send a report to client on hourly basis on infotype changes.
I do not know how to capture changes in a hour. I know how to track daily(using PCL4).
So please share your valuable experience.

In FM HR_INFOTYPE_LOG_GET_DETAIL what is the role of BTIME import parameter. Is it considered after that time or before that particular time.
my requirement is , with in a hour (every hour new updates whether change, delete or insert etc ).So how do I pass the from and to time limits in the functionmodule.

Setting up Mail Connection for Infotype Changes

Hello Experts
I would like to set up an email notification which will be sent from the SAP to non HR personnel as soon as a Hire action is completed in order for them to know that there was an employee hired and that they need to enter relevant data in other infotypes.
I found the option to setting up Mail Connection for Infotype Changes but is there a standard way to send a work item notification? maybe add a link to the PA40?

Why the creation of a infotype is not traced by infotype change log report?

I triggered the trace of IT655 change for infotype auditing report RPUAUD00. But I found out if just create the infotype with a certain start date without changing any field, this creation cannot be picked up by the report. Is this normal or not? What else I can do to trace the creation also?

Allan - We are having a similar issue with Events (0000) infotype? Did you apply note 44206 in your system?
If you applied the note, did the developer implement the changes to the 2 Standard SAP programs (per note 44206)?
If you didn't apply the note, how did you resolve the issue of the trace within the infotype?

OM Infotype change log Tracking

Hello Experts,
I have a requirement to write a custom Interface program to track the changes in OM infotype. This custom Interface will be run daily to track the changes in OM infotype if any on daily basis.
I know i can use AEDTM (Changed on) date field to track the changes but this will not be able to cover all possible scenarios. This date (AEDTM) does not get updated in SAP when an infotype is delimited. So such scenarios will be missed if i use AEDTM.
I have certain function modules which can be used to track the changes in PA infotype. But I am not able to find any function module or class or related object which can track the changes in OM infotype.
If any one of you have any idea or suggestion on this, Kindly help me.

you can mention object type, table and fields for which change pointers can be activated.
So you mean I need to maintain the OM infotypes 1000, 1001, 1005, 1010, 1610 and 1641 (these are OM infotypes we need to track for changes) and all their fields in this message type view. How does the change pointer gets activated by maintaing this. Can you please brief me about this process.
then I believe you should be able to design and create a program that checks these change pointers in a batch job and transfers data
Can you pls brief me how this can be achieved through a custom program. May be u can share the Inputs from your technical teammate who has designed the program for you.
I will also discuss with my functional counterpart about this solution.

First in Spro : PM->PA->Tools->Revision-> Set up change doc: Determine log of which infotypes you wanna see.
Then execute report S_AHR_61016380.

Email address changed - URGENT

This morning I was trying to change the user name, which I thought was just the name on the account (my husband's name was showing up and not mine). It said nothing about changing your email address. But when I changed it, it changed my complete email address and now I can't receive/send emails. I have used this email for many, many years and I DO NOT want to change this. I need someone to get me back my prior email address immediately as I use this for work and urgent matters. I have tried everthing on my end. I called Comcast this morning and they seem to not be able to help me either. This was a simple, very simple mistake. If I could change it that easily this morning, I do not know why I can't change it back so easily. My address that I need back is [email protected] My new one that I no longer want is [email protected] Please, I need this resolved immediately.

I have done that and gave all the info and no one has called me back yet. It seems like such a trivial issue that wouldn't be a problem to change back. Can you help me online?

IDOC HRMD_A + Change pointers + Infotypes change objects doesnt exist???

I Have to send master data from infotypes 0002, 0006, 0032 and 0105 from HR to SAP PI. I've configured BD61, BD50 and BD53 to reduce Idoc HRMD_A. Then in BD52 I've tried to put this fields to activate change pointers when data from this infotypes is changed.
But in BD52 doesnt exist infotypes 0002, 0006, 0032 and 0105. I tried with object HR_IT1002, table HRP1002 and fields BEGDA and ENDDA, then run program RBDMIDOC and the Idoc is sent, but is possible with infotypes metioned????

Infotype change

Hi All,
My client needs a report on the last changes in master data infotypes record. there is a standard report:
S_AHR_61016380 - Logged Changes in Infotype Data
for this report i have made entries in the following views:
HR Documents: Infotypes with Documents (V_T585A),
HR Documents: Field Group Definition (V_T585B), and
HR Documents: Field Group Characteristics (V_T585C).
But still i am not getting the desired result.
Please help me on this.

I checked the settings in our system (where the logging works).
Here is a snapshot for IT1.
We are on 4.7.
