Infotype update on claim request status

Hi,
I have one scenario where I have to update a z infotype on & every processing status for claim request. The processing status gets changes on creation & approval process through workflow. I am using the standard workflow for claim & reimbursement & implement the BADI to get the approval level. I have three levels of approval level.
Is there any way to update IT through the same BADI or another BADI "HRPBSIN_COMPLETE_UPDATE". Pl. give suggestion.

Hi,
You can use the badi HRPBSIN_NEXT_APPROVER to update the custom infotype.
Ex. If you want to save some fields of custom infotype when the employee applies, check the "Approver Level = 1."
If you want to save some fields when 1st level manager approves " Approver Level = 2."
Based on these "Approver Level" you can create and change the custom infotype.

If the field they are updating is in the same object it shouldn't be an issue. If another object needs to be updated then the workflow won't work.
Integration events can be used for this. generate a event and have a external process poll the integration event queue for new events. when received, it can do whatever is necessary via web services.

InfoPackage error message "Subsequent update (requests) : Status unknown "

After running an InfoPackage the status is set to green, but when you look at the Details tab you see an error message "Subsequent update (requests) : Status unknown " and "With DTP in InfoProvider ZHRPYO00 : Further processed " under it. We did not used to get this error message and don't quite understand why are we getting it now. Could someone explain, please?

Hi,
Usually this error could be while loading the DSO or loading DSO first and then to other infoprovider.
Error message tab at the monitor should give you clear error message where it went wrong. check this tab.
some time while activating the data this may fail for the DSO object. or some time due to authorization problem to load the data automatically from the DSO to infocubes.
If possible let me know what is error message.

SC Orchestrator Incident Request Status update monitoring

Is there a way to set up an incident request status update monitoring with orchestrator ?
SCSM 2012R2 and Orchestrator 2012R2.
I've tried to use "Monitor Object" when IR is updated but it didn't work as I expected. I've extended IR class by adding custom date field named "PendigDate" and need to update these field by running a Runbook with Monitor Object and
Update Object but I did not find any possibility to set up (in Monitor Object) condition for "When IR Status chaged FROM Active TO Pending" as it can be set up in SCSM Workflow but when I try to use workflow I am not able to update
"PendigDate" custom field in IR.

HCM process & Forms - Need logic to handle the Error's when Infotype Update

Hi Experts,
Currently im working with HCM process and forms workflow's. I have ten HCM workflow's and everything is working fine.
Now the issue is, at the time of save, if there is any error like infotype lock or any other Master data error's, then the standard task responsible for save the data, returns the Status as Error.
Already the approval process for the request is carried out, and it can not be make it again. So I need to save the data without re execution of the process or without re-approval.
I searched in standard workflow also. There is no option to handle the Infotype update Error's.
So can any one give me some hint about this? Without the re-initiation i need to save the data's.

If you are using the framework to update specific infotypes and they are locked for "no apparent" reason you'll want to open an SAP message. I would highly discourage you from going down the path of calling that FM, from within workflow no less. Workflow in the framework was not intended to do such operations, this is supposed to be handled in the decoupled infotype framework (through configuration)... not to mention you won't be using the dec. infty framework by calling that function.
While I've had to do this before, it was because of a limitation in the framework not something as trivial as a locked infotype. Who knows, it might actually be locked for a legitimate reason?

I am trying to customize the status for a Service Request form. We want to add some additional ones to that list. I am not finding where I go to update that list.

The list you are looking for is in the Library Tab, Lists view, Service Request status. take a look at
How to Add a List Item.
I'd like to argue that this is probably not what you want to do, however, as the status property is pretty tightly managed by the out-of-the-box workflows that move service requests forward, and manually setting these statuses will likely break the out-of-the-box
activity status engine.
Instead, you probably want to Create a new MP in the authoring tool, Locate and
Extend the Service Request Class, add a new Enumeration property to your extension, use the Create List button to create a new list,
Save and seal your class extension MP, close your original unsealed class extension MP and open the Sealed copy, Create a second MP to contain the form extension,
Locate and
Customize the Service Request form,
add a new List Picker bound to the property and list you created before, Save and seal your Form Extension MP,
Import both the sealed versions into your test system, Create a new (unsealed) Management pack in the test system and all your list items to the list you created earlier, test the forms
and make sure they look right and show the right data, then Export the unsealed list MP, and import all three MPs (the sealed class MP, the sealed form MP, and the unsealed list items MP) into your production system.
This has the advantage that it gives you a new place to store your custom SR statuses that you can set to be whatever you like, and doesn't break the out-of-the-box activity engine workflows, or the grooming engine that depends on the "closed"
status.

Request Status for Master Data Attributes Load

Dear All,
We are trying to load attribute master data and volume of which is relatively huge around 10,000 records.
We are facing challenge while updating attribute data from master data info object , the load status remains in yellow status and when we went to details screen it states that data is transfered to transfer rule . ( it has been loaded successfully in to PSA).
Could anybody please give some hint on this challenge ??

You are right, as number of records are more , i have chosen update of "Only PSA" and then "Subsequently in Data Targets".
I tried other option also which is infopackage schedule "Execute in Back ground" and
"Request batch process runs untill all data is updated in BW". And process went in to infinite loop.
Some how i am not able to track out why the request status is not changing .

Request status in RED color.

Gurus-
I am loading the data from Data Stage to BW.
First load went thru with out any errors. When Data Stage team scheduled load for second time then I see Red indicator in "Request Status" as well as in "Status" tab.
When I go to details tab I see RED in "Extraction (messages) : Errors occured", Transfer (IDOCS and TRFC) :Errors occured and "Susseq. Processing (message)".
When I expand " Extraction (messages)" I see "1000 Records sent (1000 records received)" in red color.
and if I expand "Transfer ( IDOCS and TRFC) "it says "Data Package 1 : arrived in BW ; Processing : 2nd processing step not yet finished "" in red color. all the Info IDOCS are in green color.
But I see Transfered and added records in mange screen of DSO. Can I activate the DSO by changing the indicator to green from red?

REQUEST STATUS YELLOW WHILE MONITOR STATUS GREEN - BI7

Hellow,
I try to load data with 0CO_OM_OPA_1, 0CO_OM_WBS_1 into Z cubes which are similar to the business content cubes 0OPA_C11 and 0WBS_C11 respectively.
ETL is BW3.5 (transfer rule and update rules). When I look at the request in the monitor, I see that everything is green but the request status is yellow and not available for reporting. I can change the status to green manually but this is not a good solution for me.
By the way the same load works well with te standart cubes.
I use BI7 but I use BW3.5 business content.
What could be the reason for such problems?

We have exactly the same proble. Have you found a solution to it? I'm using Datasource 0HR_PT_2 to load data into Infocube ZPT_C01 (a copy of 0PT_C01). The monitor of the infopackage is green. There are no errors whatsoever. The status for the request in the Infocube>Manage is set to yellow and the data is not available for reporting. I can set it manually to green, but as you said yourself, it'd be nice to have an automated wway of doing this. Is there any way around this problem?

Delta load - request status is partially activated

Hi to All,
From one Info package data is loading to 1 CUBE, 1 ODS simaltaneously through PSA, but data is not updated to PSA. Then I have activated the ODS and then I changed the ODS request status to GREEN but here transfered records are 2000 but added records are 0, after few minuets data packets came into PSA then I am trying to CHANGE THE REQUEST ODS STATUS TO RED, IT IS SAYING "REQUEST IS PARTIALLY ACTIVATED".
In both ODS and CUBE manual updation terminating.
LOAD IS : DELTA
Pls can anyody give suggestions/inputs to come out from the problem.

Here ODS request status is changed to(from RED ->GREEN) GREEN forcebly b'z red request is not activating the ODS, after ODS activation when I am trying to change the request status to RED, its saying " REQUEST IS PARTIALLY ACTIVATED NOT POSSIBLE TO CHANGE THE QM STATUS"
If we want to delete the request the REQUEST SHOULD BE IN RED, its allowing to change to RED
pls help me on this what can we do now

I am trying to configure the WinRM in my servers for eventlog forwarding but I am facing issue when i run "winrm qc" command on domain controllers. I get the following error,

Before going further, would you please let me confirm edition information of the server OS that this issue
occurred? Was it Windows Server 2008 or Windows Server 2008 R2 or any other?
Based on the error message, this issue may occur if the Window Remote Management service and its listener functionality
are broken. Please refer to resolution in following KB and check if can help you.

Update Sales Org Material Status via VK12?

I have a request to update the DChain spec status for a given material when a user creates a new condition record in VK12. My initial response is that it's not possible and probably not a good practice, but before I respond to the request I wanted to know if it is possible. In my forum search I haven't found any topics on this, has anyone ever had to do this? If so, how was this completed?

Just to recap, X-dist chain status is generally used in different purpose rather than conditions.
Whenver new material is created with sales views. its CO-Controlling directives that until the costing of the material is not done, there should not be any sales. Thus, they restrict the sales of this material with this field.
Once costing is done, this material will be ready for sale & then this field will be removed ( there are various ways to remove/blank this field in SAP).
same concept is exist, to procure the material also.
Let me know, the prupose- why you want to use this field in your requirement. Still if you would like to use, as said by mate, there is no automatic functionality to update this field. It has to be done manually or with some subsequent function.

This is a correct error. Please check the balance amount in infty 45 for the particular loan type. The loan request should not exceed that.
