Input screen feild to the standard screen.

hi sap masters,
i really appreciate the help that which you provide.
i have standard sap screen where in i need to add my custum screen input field as date type syst-datum.
i am using a badi where am able to add any number of fields however in screen how can i add an input screen field as date to the standard screen.

Hi,
For the Tcode REISCDCN, there is no screen exit available.
However, there si a solution for the scenario that you want. On teh selection screen of REISCDCN, You have a button near "Execute" button called "DYNAMIC SELECTIONS".
On click of this, you get all the fields related to contracts. Now you can click on teh date field taht you need . This in turn creates a selection option for this field, wherein you could pass on the selection criteria.

                 Thank you for sending me the useful link that gave me the steps to go ahead in EEWB.
Now i have created a object and extention in EEWB ,the it took me to the wizard automatically ,i followed up the notes in wizard and after it is completed, it shows a ERROR message as "Definition CRM_BTX_ADD_NEW_FIELDS is of the type 'TSK' and should run on an external system. This is not permissible. Only definitions of type 'SEQ' may be created for external systems."
The inputs that i gave in while creating Extention are :
1)EEW Businness object : BUSINESS_TRANSACTION ( i.e) CRM BUSINESS
TRANSACTION)
2)Extention type : ADD_NEW_FIELDS
The inputs that i gave in wizard inorder to add attachment as a new feild in CRMD_ORDER transaction are:
1) In step 2 of wizard to select thae business transaction type i choose service process and tried even business activity .
2) While defining the feild name, i gave Attachment as the feild name and choos check box.
then follwed with the rest of the steps and completed the wizard.
Now can you tell me,if the steps and the inputs that i gave are right or nt?
and what does the Error Message mean? i think it is some system settings ,how to resolve this ?
Please give me your suggestions ASAP.

i am using BADI HRHAP00_ENHANCE_FREE to add some functionality to the screen of transaction PHAP_CREATE.

i am calling this FM 'F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST'
in the BADI and i have to update the fields in the screen of the main program which is calling this BADI (HRHAP00_ENHANCE_FREE).
This BADI is called at the button click .
ZOBJECT_TABLE is a Z- table with values out which we have to select the value.
and the value should be filled in the screen field as we select the record from the help.

I design a screen in se51 where I use push buttons and input/output buttons and so on in the layout, here in the layout or in my final output screen(when i assign this screen to a transaction) I would like to display other standard keys, ie the function keys and application toolbar items. I would like to know whether there is a possibility to do this , if yes then how?
In a menu painter there is a possibility where I can customize the keys or I can use the standard keys by going to se41 extras->adjust template. Is there similar possibilities in the screen painter.

PM01 - Enhance the Standard List Screen

Morning All
I have read the various posts and standard SAP documentation on enhancing the standard list screen. However, I am stil in position of having my new structure - ZPLIS0019 being populated in subroutine fill_liststruc but the fields do not appear on screen 3000 as indicated. The standard documentation implies that I do not have to do anything to screen to screen 3000 - that the fields will appear dynamically - although other threads have suggested different.
Is it that the screen 3000 can only be repaired to include the new fields?
Can anyone clear this up for me? I'm on 46C.
Any input really appreciated...!

A repair has to be made and then the system is able to regerate the screen 3000.
The 'Generate Enhanced List' option from the List Menu option should also be taken and the new structure put into the 'table name' field of the correct entry (you may have to create this entry).

Sorry to hear you are having a similar problem. Last night I went to the tool bar at the top of iphoto, clicked on "File", then clicked "Browse Backups" in the drop down menu.    I have an external hard drive that is set up to Time Machine.   The Browse Backups opened the iphoto pages in the Time Machine. I selected a date one day ahead of the day I performed the now infamous update, and it showed my iphoto library as it had existed that day.   I then clicked "Restore Library" at the bottom right corner of the Time Machine screen.   Roughly 2 hours later my iphoto was back to normal.   When I opened iphoto there was a message saying I need to upgrade my program to be compatible with the new version of iphoto(version 9.2.1). I clicked "Upgrade" and within seconds it had done whatever upgrading it needed to do.
The only glitch in the restoration was that it restored the library as it appeared last week, so I no longer had photos I had imported this past weekend.   I simply went back to the Browse Backups in the drop down menu, when Time Machine opened I selected the page showing my pictures from this weekend and again said to Restore Library.   Roughly 45 minutes later the library was restored including the most recent photos.
I am now a happy camper.
I don't know if any of this will be of help to you because your email says you are having trouble with photos imported after the upgrade was performed.   Have you had any pop up notices when you first open iphoto, that tell you you need an upgrade to be compatible with the new iphoto?     If so have you clicked "upgrade"?
Good luck Liz, if you have Time Machine running as a back up to your library, maybe you wil be able to get help there, by following my instructions above.   Otherwise,   good luck with your investigations.   I'd be interested in hearing how you make out.

Is it possible to enter "Input Control" values on the report prompts screen? How?

Our report users are used to enter their parameters on the prompt.
I have created a new report on WEBI XI 3.1. and this report has some prompts and also input controls.
That means, when the user wants to run the report they have to enter their parameters on the report prompt and then they have to navigate to the input control and select the values.
That makes them feel like they are entering parameters twice for a report.
Is there any way the initial value for an input control can be entered on a report prompt screen?
So, the user enters the values of the prompt and the initial values of the input controls together only once at the prompt screen?

Yes, I considered adding a prompt instead of an input control but this input control selects data based on a custom calculation performed in a variable at the report level. To create a prompt on the query I would have to make the calculation at the universe level.
Anyway, it seems 'Input Control" may be a useful tool for our reports, so we decided to get our report users accustomed to the input control tool.

when u drag n drop some fields in the screen goto to one of the corners of dat fields drag to the extend u want to increase.
or in attributes section for u length n width of dat fields are available just increase to your wish.

To display the user login details in selection-screen( input screen )

I have a requirement.
Assume there is a report on travel details. Report access has been given to all in the organization based on authorization level.
Before excecuting the report, in the selection-screen(input screen) itself I need to display the login user details.
suppose user A belongs to ITS-business unit and user B-belongs to RDS-business unit and Industry group-Multi markets.
so when User B logs into production system and try to access the report, in the selection screen, i need to display like
user-id-- XXXX          Business Unit---RDS             and IG -
Multi Markets
how to achieve this? User details will vary based on login.

NOT possible. you can only append to the Std selection-screen. One option is to hide it altogether, so the user sees only the custom block...

Modify the standard screen of a report

I've just created a report with some parameters and when i try to modify the standard screen of this report via se80 i've got a warning message that tells me that all changes in standard selection dynpro will be discarded.
Does that mean i can't modify this Dynpro?

Report Painter - Ordering the way variables appear on the input screen

On the user input screen for a report, the variables for things such as Year, Period, Company Code, Profit Center......they do not always show up on the user input screen in the order that they are placed in the report. Is there a way to change the order in which they appear ? For example, if the default order on the user input screen is :
               Company Code:
               Year:
               Profit Center:
               Period:
Is there a way to make the order different, such as:
               Year:
               Period:
               Company Code:
               Profit Center:

You can set the order of the Selection Screen fields there.

if you are in SRM 7.0 , then you can do it through the below configuration else you will have to modify the relevant HTML template.
SPRO->IMG->SAP Supplier relationship managemnet->SRM Server->Cross Application basic setings->extension and Field control(personalization)-> configure field control->configure control of field of substructure->Metadata for Fields of Substructures and Table-Like Enhancements
In your case if this is delivery address field , then choose Bus. object set type as 07 , Business object as BUS2121 , set level as Item , set subtype as 00000027.
you have to finnd the field name and select that and make the option as Field Visisble, Fiels enable 'Field required' tick.
As far as i know it will make a red asterick in the screen but you will have to write that check in DOC_CHECK_BADI to throw error message.
