Insert a PDF document to a PDF file at bookmark javascript?

I have a PDF file with several bookmarks.
I want each bookmark, when clicked to run Javascript that prompts the user to select a file, weather it be a PDF file or word file. Once the file is selected, it inserts the file into the existing PDF document at the bookmark.
Can anyone give me some advice or code to make this happen?

I need to create a template for a department at work.
They receive several documents and need to basically merge them into one PDF file in a certain order. For example, Contract, Pay Plan, Signature
The order changes depending on the type of customer, which is why a template that prompts to insert a PDF file (not an attachment) into the template at the bookmarks makes sense to me. This would make it so there would be no errors in the process and the people doing this work wouldn't have to remember what order for each type of customer.

Yes, let me elaborate further:
I have a four page document in WORD with instructions. Examples of the instructions are in PDF files. I want to insert each PDF example next to or below each line item in WORD.The PDF will open when clicking on the icon without having a hyperlink attached to it.

After a little Googling, it looks like B.Media is a content management system from Wave Corporation used for making catalogs. Doubtful you'd be able to license it at less than an enterprise level.

Your version of Acrobat is quite old and not compatible with any current OS, so problems are to be expected. It is too old to qualify for an upgrade as well, so if you want the current version (XI) then you need to purchase a new license, which you can do via the Adobe Products Page.

A friend has told me to use this:
fscommand ("exec", "anexo01.bat")
but it opens a black pop up window before opening the
program..... and it don´t seems to be a good solution.....
can someone help me on this?

You can't avoid the echo box, unfortunate but that's the
compromise if you go with
the BAT file method.
For many years I have been using Flash Jester tool call
JStart. Works like charm
all the way, no extra pop up windows :)

How to include several PDF documents into just one file?

I have a Word document with 6 pages that I saved in PDF.
I wanted to transform the entire document in JPEG (JPG) immage, so that I could use it in other tools, such as Facebook for example.
The problem is that using Adobe Photoshop it opens and saves page by page.
Can you give me s solution or hint?

.jpg, using Photoshop.

have it in six pieces is not quite readable...

Printing a PDF document to virtual PDF printer converts text to image in output PDF-file

When I "print" any regular PDF document to a PDF virtual printer, it always converts a source regular (textual) PDF document into an image only document. It applies even to pure plain text documents (say, HTML source code etc.)
(I often need to create a PDF document from the existing PDF. Yes, I know, it might seems quite pointless, but actually it makes sense.)
Thus I have 2 questions:
1) Is such sonvertion normal or I do anything wrong myself?
2) It is by design, is there any woraround to prevent conveting text to image?

Have you checked to see if the "Print As Image" option is inadvertently checked? In the Print dialog, click the Advanced button then look for the checkbox.

How to combine three PDF documents into one PDF document ?

I have a requirement to combine 3 PDF documents into One PDF document, let me explain clearly.
I have developed two Adobe forms in T.code SFP and I have one PDF docuement which is stored in DMS (T.code CV02n), and now I want to combine these three PDF documents into one pdf.

Krisztian's solution will work/merge only for Adobe forms created in T.code SFP but can't merge with the pdf document which is sitting in CV02N (This doesn't have Adobe form name in T.code SFP), this is what I understood.
And one more bad news is we are not able to install that unix file in our client system, it is not compatable.

Below is a copy of an 8/7/2013 email from adobe. I prepaid a one-year subscription, and, until I recently upgraded to Windows 8, I was able to make several dozens of merged pdf documents. I seem to be no longer able to use the merge feature that I had successfully and repeated used. When I search for the merge feature I end up with a request that I pay for an upgrade monthly subscription to use the merge feature.

Can I open embedded PDF documents in a PDF file on an iPad or Android?

Not sure if first post got through, the forum required me to change password ...
So I'm trying to open embedded PDF documents in a "parent" PDF document on an iPad.
On a PC the file opens fine.
On an iPad 2 with Adobe's Reader the same file says it's corrupted.
On PDF Pro the file opens, I can see the listing of embedded PDF documents but when I click on them nothing happens.
Is there a way for a PDF file with embedded hyperlinked PDF documents to be displayed on an iPad or Android?

pages on the iOS has access only to the camera roll to embedd pictures , but no external files.
Content from other documents like pdf can be copied and pasted by using Adobe Reader for iOS or the iBooks.app, open the pdf , copy text , then go to pages.app and paste text into the document there.

Printing a PDF document within a postscript file

I know it is possible to print a PDF document from within a postscript file using Document Structuring Comments and Document Comment Extensions. Is is possible to print a single page PDF document multiple times as a booklet? For example I have a PDF document that is a page of graph paper. I want to print this PDF file 8 times in the form of a booklet. Is this possible and if it is how would I code the postscript to do this?

PDF is absolutely not part of the PostScript language itself. Nor is there anything in the DSC specifications that provides for printing a PDF document from within a PostScript file.
Attached to this posting are the two existing pieces of documentation of DSC from Adobe. Neither references such a capability.
DSC are simply “comments” within a PostScript program file which may be used by preprocessing software or external applications for various puposes, especially associated with prepress actions and placing of EPS (Encapsulated PostScript) in other graphic arts documents.
Conceivably some implementor of some PostScript product may have provided some capability to embed a PDF file or to invoke the printing of a PDF file from within a PostScript file using custom DSC. However, this is certainly not part of the official PostScript language. I have also attached those specifications as well!

I am trying to figure out how to add a Google Walking tour into my pdf document. I tried using the HTML feature in InDesign CS6 but all i get is a static image of a map. Acording to the features of InDesign this should be working correct? Please let me know if this is possible or not. Thank you!

Merge PDF documents into one PDF document

I have got an question. I have several different PDFs.
Four main PDF and 20 PDFs which are ment as attachements.
Via ABAP code i would like to chose dynamicaly several of those attachement PDFs and merge them within one of the main forms.
So as result you will have one pdf which you can see in the print preview and send as one to the spool.
But is this possible?

Add below parameter values in report program in FP_JOB_OPEN function module.
SFPOUTPUTPARAMS-BUMODE = 'M'.
SFPOUTPUTPARAMS-PREVIEW = ' '.
Call different adobe forms without using FP_JOB_CLOSE.
It will merge pdf files.
At the end, call FP_JOB_CLOSE.
and then get the merged pdf as FPFORMOUTPUT-pdf.

Printing a PDF document to Adobe PDF rotates 90degrees clockwise

When I print a PDF document (scanned) to the Adobe PDF printer the resulting document is rotated 90 degrees clockwise. Regardless what settings are in Pro or the Adobe PDF writer.
How do I prevent Acrobat Pro or Adobe PDF from rotating documents?

Hello good people of the Adobe Community! I have a user of Adobe Reader XI that is having the following problem:
She is viewing, what we will call, the "main document," and this document has many links to other PDF documents. When she clicks on one of the links, the main document gets replaced by the new document. She then needs to re-open the main document to view it again. This happens with every link she clicks. I worked with the document in Reader XI and am able to open every link as an additional document, thus allowing me to immediately view both the main document and the new document.
My questions are:
Is there some setting in her Reader that I do not have turned on/off, which is why she is having this issue and I am not?
If not, then why is the user experiencing this "replacement" of the main document?
How do I help her resolve this issue?

I don't know if there is any way to configure this in the Reader preferences.
However, it can be decided in the document itself. I just created a test document (using Acrobat DC) with two links:
one to open in the same window
on the open in a new window
Both links do what I selected:
one opened in the same Reader window (replacing the original document)
the other one opened a new Reader window
When creating the links there was actually a third option: Window set by user preferences. However, I cannot seem to find such a user preference in Adobe Acrobat Reader. The default (in my case) seems to be to open in the same Reader window.
