Inspection lot of cancelled process orders

Hi Gurus,
I would like to ask if there is an easier way of knowing if the order of an inspection lot was cancelled. Right now the business is on early lot creation, meaning once the order is created an inspection lot is also created. The problem is when the order is cancelled there is no way of knowing it through QA32 unless you go to the order itself.
Is there an easier way of knowing what orders are cancelled (TECO without confirmation)?
Thank you for your help!
Eva

Hi,
But they don't really cancel process orders. They use TECO.
Thank you.

  • SAP QM Inprocess Inspection for a specific Process order type

    Dear All,
There is a requirement. As no QM type is maintained for FG material in a plant. Now the requirement is there is a specific order type for which Inprocess Inspection  is to be activated for all the FG materials. But at the same tie for all other order types there won't be any inspection for the same set of FG material.
I tried creation Z03 by copying  03 inspection type. But the problem is source inspection is from Production. So Z03 is not confined to only the specific process order but instead it is generating inspection lot for other Process order also.
Is it possible to create a scenario where we can attach inprocess inspection to a specific order type only.
    Regards,
    Rahul

    Hi,
You can assign the in process inspection to Order type in SPRO as shown below in the process order type dependent parameters in Planning tab in COR4.
    Check and revert..
    Thanks

  • Inspection type 04 should not generate Insp.lot for specific Process orders

    Hi Guyes,
I Want to skip the Inspection lots generation for specific process orders of a particular material during Goods Reciept and stock should be directly posting in to Un-restricted stock.
In the material master assigned with Inspection type 04.
Please advise me the possible options to map this scenario.
    regads,
    Rao

    In  QDR1
    stage 10-click on insp stage
    stage 10
    no. of insp : 5
    new insp stage : 20
    rej : 1
    new insp stage : 10
stage 20 - tick on skip
    stage 20
no. of skip : say "5"
    new insp stage : 10
    rej : 1
    new insp stage : 10
Now use this DMR in Header of inspection plan of material of process order.
what this will do is after 5 inspections it will skip the next 5 inspection lots.
    Make sure :
You can maintain setting for "maximum skip duration in plant level.
In QM view click on Skip & auto UD
Create variant in QA16 & run through QA17
Here in QA17 maintain the duration after which you want to take UD
Also make sure that in selected set maintain stock posting proposal for unrestricted.

  • Inspection lot 04 cancellation

    Hello QM gurus !
In the material master data of my produced material, I have entered an inspection type 04.
When I have done my GR on process order, inspection lot 04 has been created (status REL).
Now I want to cancel this inspection lot and I don't want the inspection results to be transfer to the batch MM.
Do you know a way to cancel inspection lot 04 ?
    many thanks
    Amaury
Comments: function cancel lot is grey in QA02

Since you haven't made a UD yet, you can delete out all your resutls.
Then use MBST to cancel the material document associated with the GR from the order.
    This should work.

  • Report for conformation cancelled process orders.

    Hi frnds,
I need a report for orders which have got cancelled of confirmation.
    plz suggest...
    Robert.

    Dear,
There is no standard report in SAP which shows Report for conformation cancelled.
But you can check in order it self in COR2 good movement details.
    Or  check document in MB03
Use CORS to reverse the phases.
After canceling if you want to view it again then use CORT (here there is one check box named 'Reversed' means that phase is reversed).
    Or Please use user exit
EXIT_SAPLCORF_404 Process order conf.: Customer specific input checks 2

  • Inspection lot for service purchase order

    Dear sap gurus,
    Iam Pm consultant

Is there any integration between inspection type to purchase document type or any other method.Ur prompt reply will be highly appreciated.I found a control key option in the Maintenance type parameters. Can u please tell me its usage.
    with regards,
    v.vijay kumar

    Hi v.vijay kumar
For service PO there is no  Goods receipt

  • Inspection lot for sale service order

    Dear all,
Is it possible to create inspection lot for service order created in sale and distribution?
I have a sale document type against which services are sold. I want when service order is created inspection lot trigger.
    Thanks to all.

I believe the service order is simply a different type of maintenance order.  You should be able to create inspection lots for these in a similar fashion as used in maintenance orders.  I.e inspection types 14 are used.
    http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_04/helpdata/EN/2d/352264448c11d189420000e829fbbd/frameset.htm

There are many places in the services help files that mention using inspection lots.  The two above are just a couple of them.

  • Inspection lot settings for customer order returns

    Hi
The course material for CS states the following :-
    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
The serviceable item undergoes a technical check when the goods receipt is
Posted(repair orders) . You can use inspection lots in Quality Management in the technical check. The system automatically generates an inspection lot for the technical check for a returns goods receipt. <The system does this if you have made the corresponding settings in the material master of the serviceable item.>
    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
what settings are required & where in the material master ?
    Thanks
Edited by: Isabelle Britten on May 7, 2008 12:08 PM

You must have the 05 inspection type activated in the material master.  You'll find this in the QM view of the material.  Click on the button labelled "insp. setup".
In the next screen add inspection type 05.  Make sure the "Active" box is clicked on at the end of the record line.

  • Changing material number when Process Order is released

    Hello,
We have a scenario in which the material number of a process order may need to be changed after the process order is released.  We will have both in process and post production inspection types assigned to this order, and both inspection lots are created at process order release.  We also will have a batch number created at process order release.
When recording test results in the inspection lot before a process order has been confirmed, the users may identify that the material number should be different.  We would like a way to be able to either change the material number in the process order (and inspection lots).  We know this involves a lot of updates (master data changes to the existing process order and inspection lots).  Currently, there is no way to transfer information to a new material number without receiving product in and performing a usage decision in the post production inspection lot to transfer to a new material number.
The client has implemented all modules, except PP (which we are in the process of now).  We know that Variant Configuration would have been the right solution for this, but this is not an option since MM is already implemented.
If you have any suggestions, please reply.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Prasobh,
The exact scenario is as follows:
    1. A semi finished good will be used as a component to produce the finished good.
    2. This semi finished good will have treatments added to it, and quality inspection will be performed as treatments are added.
    3. Inspections will occur several times as treatments are added.  If during one of these inspections, material is out of spec, and the blend should be transferred to another material number, we need to be able to change to another material number.  To have a customization where material number is changed in all of the relevant PP and QM tables seems risky.
This is why we can't really use material classification.  We also do not have the option to use VC bc the MM module is already implemented.
    Thanks.
