Inspire T10 Speakers (No sound on the right speaker)

Hey there, I recently got a set of T10 speakers and just finished setting it up. When I connect it to my laptop or mp3 player, no sound seems to be coming out of the right speaker, only the left one. Even then, I can only get sound to come out when I turn the volume knob all the way to the right.
Any ideas Or is it just faulty hardware I'm dealing with here?

just bought this notebook within two days the right speaker stop working anyhelp will be appreciated

  • Audio out jack only plays sound in the right speaker.

Whenever I plug anything (speakers, earphones, etc.) into the Audio Output jack, it only plays sound through the right speaker/earphone. The left speaker/earphone hardly has any sound at all.
How should I go about fixing this problem?
It ***** and it's annoying. At first, I thought it was just my earphones but they work perfectly fine with my iPod and other devices.

    HI Chris,
my daughter has the ipod touch 4th generation and it started only having sound come out of the right speakers in both of my vehicles.  I read also it could be a broken socket causing it.  Do you know about this?  How does one break a socket and how would I repair that?  The person on y*hoo answers said to either send it to apple refurbished unit or replace it.  Replace it?  Really?  It's a 64 GB ipod touch that I won at work with reward points which is the only reason I could afford it.  Looking for better solution like your's above but I'm worried I will have to send it in.  I was looking on my iphone 4 and noticed the volume balance was under Settings>General>Accessibility so I guess it's different on an ipod touch?

  • Does the right speaker of Ipad Air sound louder?

    Hey Guys/Girls,
    Here is my problem:
I just got my ipad Air 32gb yesterday and everything works fine, well...till I noticed that the right speaker sounded a little bit louder than the left one (it's noticeble). So now I'm confused, because now I don't know whether the problem is comming from the unbalanced speakers, or is it just the new stereo effect, which in my opinion still isn't balanced.
I'm not saying that the left speaker is not working, that one works, at least i hear sound comming from it ( I actually did a stereo-test on youtube, to make sure both of them will work, and so they did ). But whenever I do a test on it, using the sounds of the settings (Settings --> Sounds ---> Ringtones), it immediately feels like that the right speakers works much better or louder. Even during videoclips I have that unbalanced feeling.
So is there someone, anyone, experiencing this?
Or does someone know why this occurs? Defect? Should it be the way it is?
Perhaps one of you readers could test this and would share hes/her experience?
    I would be gratefull.
PS: I'm from the Netherlands so pleas don't throw me in **** if you see a grammatical mistake...Thanks

i just fixed my ipad air's muffling sound and vibration issues. this may help your balance issue as well. hope below will help you all!
go to settings > general > accessibility > go to HEARING - move the bar all the way to R
hold Power and Home buttons to restart
go back to the HEARING settings - move the bar back to the middle
Now, the speaker should sound much clearer and balance. if you want to reduce vibration, turn the bar to L or R.
    All the best. CC
P.S. Apple, please keep up the good work. too many issues lately!!!

  • Sound isn't coming out of the right speaker/headphone

my ipod has cut off the sound to the right headphone... Thought it was just my headphones but it does it to every pair.

I've found that this happens with my 12" powerbook sometimes. There is nothing permanently wrong, just go to your System Prefs > Sound and adjust the balance to the center. For some reason I have to do this every so often.
I was wondering if anyone has found a permanent fix for this, or if there is a way to avoid the problem?

  • My external audio recording device only records to the right channel.  How do I send the sound in the right channel thru the left one in Final Cut to get a full stereo sound?

My external audio recording device only records to the right channel.  How do I duplicate the sound in the right channel and run it to the left one in Final Cut to get full stereo sound?
I've already copied and pasted the right channel (A2) onto the left channel (A1) but that just doubled the volume on the right channel.
For instance, when I listen to my audio with headphones it only comes thru the right one.  How do I make it so that it comes thru both headphones?

Stereo is something else. It is a sound field where the individual elements are located through varying the amount of electrical energy for each element delivered to each channel.
What you have is a mono source that should be panned to center. This will equally divide the signal so it will be delivered out both the L & R channels.
Load the original clip to the VIEWER and set the PAN to 0 (zero). Delete any duplicates. They are unnecessary.

  • Only getting sound out the right side speaker

Just this morning, I realised that I am only getting sound out the right side (built-in) speaker on my iMac 24 inch.
Any ideas as to why/how this is happening. It was working fine last night.
Do I have to take it in for repair??

thanks- yes that was the answer!
god knows how i altered the setting. must have been a keyboard short-cut and i did it by mistake...!

  • All of a sudden loud sound from the right

All of a sudden my macBook Pro is making a loud sound from the right which I think is the fan? It happens when I first turn it on so it is not too hot.
I'm concerned because my last ibook g4 had a dead hard drive in less than a year..this sound is somewhat similar to the clicking hard drive, but forgive my ignorance the hard drive is not on the right?
Is this a normal new sound? Does feel that way.
    cursed with macs.

    MissWit,
Its the fan, you got two one in each side.
I have same problem, but mine often appears when the MBP is warm or let me say been running for a while, at the same time I feel vibrations when I touch the casing or maybe housing is a better word, well the aluminium cover...
I am 99.9% sure the hard drive is located to the left.

  • Losing sound on the right channel or sound level is extremely low

This started happening when I got my 5. speaker system ( Logitech Z-5500 ) sometimes I would lose all sound from the right channel ( both front and rear and sometimes including center ) and sometimes the volume is at an extremely low level even if the sound card output is at 00% now fixing this is either a reboot or a change of audio mode Game to Ent ( vice versa ) Is creative working on a permanent fix for this one ? Im using X-Fi Extreme Music and Windows 7 64bit 8GB of ram

  • Speakers - both channels out of right speaker

Hi - I have a Macbook Pro, bought second hand so should have said at the time, but....
All the sound, both channels, comes out of the right speaker.  When i go into the Audio MIDI set up app, and play with the channel testing for the built in output, when i do the white noise test on channel 1, it comes out of channel 2.  Channel 2 then obviously comes out correctly.  When the channel 1 test comes out of the right speaker, it's just not quite as strong and clear sounding as the right channel sound.  Then if i've got music playing and i go to the sound preferences, when i use the balance slider left to right, when left, it's still playing out of the right speaker, just quieter.
When my headphone or external speakers are plugged in, it works just fine.  Left and right are perfect and I can use the balance slider to move the sound left to right and it behaves accordingly.
I was on Mountain Lion and am now on Yosemite and it's made no different.  It had Mountain Lion when i bought it.
    Any ideas?
    thx

  • SBLive!5.1 Line in only playing audio out in the right speake

I have a PS2, and i connected a audio out into the line-in socket, but the sound will only play on my right speakers. Is there anyway to balance this out?

I used one of the audio in cables (red or white). I believe one is for left, and one is for right, but even when i try the other, the sound only comes out of the right speakers. I connected both red and white into a 2 socket into connector, yet it still only produces sound on the right speakers.

  • CLICK POPS sounds on my RIGHT speaker.. WH

Hello there all, Well thats pretty much my question, I have new speakers and an Audigy 2 value (normal version). All is fresh installed and drivers are intalled perfectly. I did have this problem before as well with my last speakers and I wanted to updated my Aspire 6. to Aspire 7. and still the same thing. At firts I thought that my Sound card was sharing its IRQ and yes indeed... It did. And I moved it to another PCI slot and now is usins its own IRQ *6*.. but I still gettint the same CLICK POPS sounds on my "RIGHT" speaker.. same thing.. Why? please I need help! I have formatted harddri've as well and no fix at all.. Thanks a lot! Any help would be highly appreciate it.

Can you test the card in another system? If there is the same issue --> faulty card.
IRQ 6 is a virtual IRQ so it can be shared even now. Try another slot.
Before doing this, you can also disable (temporary) all unused/unneeded controllers/devices showing on Device Manager. Just _right_mouse_klick_ the item and select disable (nothing else need to do). Later enabling is done by the same way (just select and enable).
Normally you can disable: onboard stuff like sound/serial com(s)/parallel (printer)/modem/midi/firewire (all)/etc. All USB controllers you do not need and Audigy firewire (if there is one). Also you can disable your NIC (onboard or PCI)temporarily.
By doing this all, you get more IRQs freed, and then maybe find the culprit (sharing IRQ with sound card).
