Instagram is working fine on my iPhone 4S. I updated to iOS 6 today, and now Instagram doesn't show up in my settings. I can't change any of the settings. Help!
I've already deleted and reinstalled Instagram twice.

there is no direct option to contact them other than to 'report a problem' but they never respond to that!
friends with the same phone and settings are working fine.... ive checked ALL settings in instagram and privacy/photos...
cant find the error?!?

If you'll take a look around, almost every 5-10 minutes someone is posting on this subject. I'm personally having the same problem. Everyone (including seniors) is saying that it's just a waiting game. The servers are overloaded, and it because there are millions of people just like us, trying to do the same thing we're doing right now.
Rest easy....I'm coming to terms with it myself. No sense in freaking out. We're either fudged, or not fudged. -

Updated to iOS 5 and now WiFi doesn't work?
Worked fine after I had updated, but now the phones won't pickup the signal unless I'm right next to the router, and if I walk like 5 feet away it's gone. Even next to the router it's only like 2 bars. Can't be the router as I've reset it anyway, but our other computers work fine, even my Macbook Pro picks up the signal all the way out back past my pool and on my dock.
I've reset network settings, hard-reset, restored etc. No idea whats going on, but I see a lot of complaints about WiFi issues with iOS 5Also router is a Dlink 655 and is up to date, but like I said can't be a router issue when every other device is working perfectly and Macbook gets a signal way out back on my dock on the water. Both our 4 and 3GS on iOS 5 have same exact issue, within like a 5ft radius I have 2 bars of wifi (just dropped to one bar though)... the second i walk away into the kitchen or another room it's gone, netowrk doesn't even show up under WiFi (none do, even though there are other networks my other computers pick up from the area).
Apple screwed the pooch with this OS, how could they worked on it for way longer then other OS's and end up with the glitchiness one to date?
Tried changing the channel on the router to test, but made no difference. -

I plugged my iphone into my computer to get the new update and during it they said that an error occured. after that, my screen showed a plug into itunes screen. i plugged it into itunes and still nothing is happening. my itunes or computer aren't reading that it is plugged in. i try to restart my phone but the same screen still appears. HELP!

The problem is your friend's music does not belong to you. It is owned by your friend.
I'm afraid you cannot do what you are trying to do. Restoring the iPhone is what you would have to do.
In the future, put your music on the computer and transfer it to the iPhone, not the other way. -

Before updating itunes backed up the phone. It then proceeded to update to the ios 6, afterwards when restoring all photos, contacts, messages... all data... was lost. Only the apps were restored back onto the phone. I used a back up from when i first got the phone in 2011 to restore it too so i have some photos and contacts... HOWEVER, over 2000 photos are lost and some contacts still from the recent back up and restore after updating to ios6.

Do you know if you have a backup on another comptuer or maybe iCloud?
If you had Photo Stream on you might be able to get any photo that is less than 30 days old back from iCloud if you don't have a backup.
Make sure you have a WIFI connection available and the correct password for that network before continuing with the next steps.
The easiest way to find out if you have a backup without mixing your boyfreinds data into your iCloud account is to go to Settings > General > Reset > Erase all content and settings. You will need to be able to connect to the WIFI network to be able to restore your phone from any iCloud backup you have. If no backup can be found then it will have you setup the iPhone as new and will walk you through the steps to make sure a backup gets created in the future. If you have to setup as new it will also get photo stream setup and will retrieve any pictures it can.

Your WiFi/Bluetooth chip has failed. Bring the phone (and $199 if outside the warranty period) to Apple for replaceement.

when this happen the computer notice it and don't attempt to install the damaged software on the phone which would damage it
if one try right away to redownload something from the Internet ones isp just give one a copy from their cache (they can't detect if all data in their cache is valid because that would slow everything down)
wait a bit and the cache will be cleared and you will have a new attempt to download and flash your ios device with the update should it prove uncorrupted this time -

I live out of the country, and my cell phone is not connected to my carrier's network for the next month (so I really have a glorified ipod touch).
