Our Client is unable to perform the installation of Crystal Report XI message
that appears is the following:
"Crystal Reports XI Release 2 Setup has failied. If the problem persist, please contact Business Objects Product Support "
Could inform any solution on this case?

Eu solicitei fazer o download atraves do link https://websmp230.sap-ag.de/sap(bD1wdCZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/bobj_download/main.htm
e selecionar a opção Crystal Reports XI Release 2 tipo Hot Fix que possui o tamanho de 1.083.205 Kb.
porém o download cai e não pode ser concluido, tentei fazer download através da minha maquina e o mesmo problema ocorre.

Hi,
I am facing some error message when installing the Crystal Reports 2008 that I have purchased. I am currently working on a Windows XP Pro SP2, 1 GB RAM, 60 GD Free Space to install the Crystal Reports but failed. The error stated on the Crystal Reports installation screen is "Crystal Reports 2008 Setup has Failed".

Install the Crystal Reports Runtime SP2 to an alternate drive

I need to install the Crystal Reports Runtime SP2 (CRRuntime_12_2_mlb.msi) to a drive other then the C: drive. The installation package does not give the option to choose an install location. Is there any way this can be done?

If you have your AppPool set for 32 bit then install the 32 bit runtime, if it's set for 64 bit then install the 64 bit runtime.
Try searching, lots of posts on this subject.

New install of Crystal report 10 Enterprise.

My web server crashed. I had to do new install of it including CR10.
I have several hundred rpt files that ran fine on the old install for many years. So long ago, i forgot some of the setup issues.
Server 2003. .net framework 2.0 Visual Studion 2003 Crystal Report 10
I installed every componet of Crystal Report 10 and the embedded Enterprise CD.
The Enterprise configuration took shows the WWW cleint and all it's dependecies running.
I get the following error message when I try to run an RPT.
The CLSID points to clientdoc.dll
It is already registered.
I looked at te componet manager and cannot find any Com componets for Crystal report.
Creating an instance of the COM component with CLSID {D2D2F998-E14A-492F-9B9D-619F05111731} from the IClassFactory failed due to the following error: 80040154

Cannot Install SAP Crystal Reports 2011 on 64-bit Win 7

I am trying to install the 30-Day Trial of SAP Crystal reports 2011 on a Windows 7 64-bit pc and at the end of the installation, I receive the two errors below.
I made sure I clicked 'Ran as Administrator' and under properties under the Compatibility Tab, I selected Windows 7.
I also made sure my antivirus software was disabled.
1st Error - It was a pop up after the installation said successful.
Missing installdir reg key for installiverse, required for uninstall. Key: SOFTWARE\SAP BusinessObjects\Suite XI 4.0\Installer\aurora Value: Path
2nd Error - It was another pop up right after I selected OK on the 1st error pop up.
Runtime Error!
Program: C:\Users\Ken Muhr\Desktop\River Valley Recycling\Crystal Reports -...
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.
And the box name is called, "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
After I click OK to clear this 2nd error pop up box, I go to my programs and it is not there to use. I don't understand why. Has anyone experienced this?

Have a look in the install log file, it is under this tree:
C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects
Anything in the install log? You can open it with notepad.
Also have a look at this post: SAP Crystal Reports 2011: Error INS00140 and other install errors
And you also need 2.0 Framework as well as MS VS 2005 C++ Security installed.

Broken install of Crystal Reports Server XI R2

Hi
In attempting to install some .NET applications I inadvertantly broke our Crystal Report Server (CRS) XIR2 installation, which was at SP2..
The problem caused the following services to fail:
CMS
CR Cache Server
CR Page Server
Input Fle Repository Server
Output file repository Server
Report Application Server
The changes made to the server that caused the problem involved installing and removing different Crystal client and .NET packages. I also ran out of disk space but that was resolved withiout it fixing my CRS issue.
I have tried to resolve this by installing SP5, in the hope that any invalid DLLs will be replaced during the SP5 install.
However, we still have the problem and I am wondering what to look at next. All the servers have moved from 11.5.8.826 to 11.5.11.1470 as a result of the application of SP5, but I am guessing the objects causing the problem are outside the scope of the SP5 install.
Any suggestions? Can anyone who has CRS XI R2 installed give me a list of ancillary Crystal applications and versions they depend on?

A detailed review of the Windows Application Event log shows this sequence of events
I was trying to get a .NET Crystal automation program to run and it was not working - it looked to me like I need to install a Crstal runtime client to make this work. I realise we should use a test server but this is a small business with no VMs and only a few servers.
Up to 15:49:49 - Crystal Reports Server was running normally. At that time Crystal Reports Basic Runtime was reconfigured - I think I tried using Repair from within Add/Remove Programs. This attempt failed, so I removed it Product Name: Crystal Reports Basic Runtime for Visual Studio 2008. Product Version: 10.5.0.0. Product Language: 1033. At that point the log records application errors for the BO Page Server - full text:-

Installing SAP Crystal Reports v 2011 in Citrix environment

Can SAP Crystal Reports v2011 run in a Citrix environment? Anyone have any issues installing? Running?

See this [Platforms |http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/boc/support?rid=/webcontent/uuid/e01d4e05-6ea5-2c10-1bb6-a8904ca76411]link. Find the Supported Platforms for CR 2011. I believe we have supported Terminal Server and Citrix since CR XI R2.
I have seen issues with the latest C and TS versions though and the Citrix/MS forums should be searched for known issues.

i have CR XI R2 edition ,if i intigrate with VS.Net will i be using VS Designer or crystal reports designer

Hello,
You didn't mention which version of Visual Studios you're using. Crystal Reports XI Release 2 (v11.5) Developer edition will integrate into VS2002, VS2003, and VS2005. CR XI R2 will not integrate into VS2008. CR XIR2 Standard edition and CR XIR2 Professional edition will not integrate into Visual Studios because they are not development level products.
After you install Visual Studios 2002/2003/2005 when you install CR XIR2 Developer edition then CR XIR2 will integrate into Visual Studios. The VS IDE will be updated to work with CR XI R2 and the CR XIR2 assemblies, etc.
In this case your application will use CR XIR2 for application development, and you can create reports in CR XIR2, or inside Visual Studios (since the CR Designer in VS has now been updated to CR XIR2).

VS 2010 is crashing after installing SAP Crystal report 13.0.

HI Experts.
I have seen many thread related to crashing in VS2010. I feel i am also getting the same error msg.
"Msg:Object reference set to an instance of an object - (Mouse move event)."
I didn't see any proper fix on this issue and I think i can give proper steps to reproduce that, Thats the reason i am posting this as new thread.
Here is my report structure and senario,
I have a sub repot which will display all the parameters and its values which i am setting through my C# application.
i am using crystal report viewer to show my reports. once i click on the subreport i used to get seperate preview tab for my parameters list.. if i click on refresh from this view, on the time of refreshing the application will crash on mouse click in reports. especially on click of that waiting cusor(Which is not there in cr2008). Report will work fine if its load immediatly. problem happening only the reports are taking few time to get load.
In brief, When the report is loading, if we click any where in report,application crashes.
Note:I was using VS2010 and CR2008-Sp3 before. all of my 150 reports are working fine on that time. Last week i have updated CR2008 with SAP Crystal report 13.0. This issue stared after that.

I worked on this to get proper scenario for reproducing this issue. one thing i observed that,
crash is happening regularly the places which i have registered mouse double click event in crystal report viewer. My guess is,While loading the report(On click of refresh), the viewer is empty(bank). That time if we do double click on the viewer its crashing. But confustion is getting error on mouse move event
Hope this will help you guys to reproduce the crash.
We people are really waiting to fix this issue asap. we are also woking in our application to catch the exception somehow. Will update you if i get any progress .

Crystal Report Print Control install error

Hi,
I'm trying to manually install the crystal report print control active x file. After righ-clicking to install the printcontrol.inf file, i got the following error message; "The INF you selected does not support this method of installation" Any idea why I could not install?
I am running Windows Vista and have local admin rights.

See if that helps. Note that since you do not mention version of CR, the KB may not be specific to your version of CR, but it should point you in the right direction, no matter what the version.

Hi there,
Try the following silent install command via the DOS command prompt:
setup.exe ADDLOCAL=ALL CLIENTLANGUAGE=EN REBOOT=ReallySuppress PIDKEY=B1234-1234567-1234567-1234 INSTALLDIR="C:\Program Files\Business Objects\Crystal Reports 11.5" /qn /l* C:\temp\CRXIr2Trace.txt
Notes and explanations:
In the above example, it assumes that you copied the installation media to the C:. You will also have to change directory to the wherever the win32 directory is. The setup.exe is located in the win32 folder of the installation media.
If you had put the win32 directory in say, C:\CRXIr2\win32, then you will have to navigate to this point first before typing the string above. You will also need to change the product key from B1234-1234567-1234567-1234 to match your own.
The ADDLOCAL switch specifies a list of features to install. ADDLOCAL=ALL then installs all the features.
The REBOOT=ReallySuppress prevents Crystal Reports from prompting the user to reboot the machine
The /qn switch performs the installation silently without prompting the user .
Finally, the string above also logs the installation to a text file in C:\temp\CRXIr2Trace.txt.
You can find a full explanation of the switches and silent install string from xir2_cr_install_en.pdf in the installation media.

Problems installing Crystal Reports 2008 Server on Windows Server 2008 serv

I attempted to install the Crystal Reports 2008 product on one of our Windows Server 2008 servers.
After installing disk 1
Crystal Reports 2008 Server attempts to open up in IE...... but opens up to a blank page

anyone have any idea why? why does it not prompt for the second CD?
Is this a compatibility with Windows Server 2008?

I'm attempting to install CRS 2008 on Windows Server 2008 as well, and I'm running into a few issues. Did you ever get yours resolved? I started by trying to use IIS, but I'm uninstalling it completely now and will try Tomcat instead. Which route did you go?

Installed BOE XI R3.1 Client tools now I cant open crystal reports?

After I unistalled the client tools I cant open Crystal Reports from local drives. I can from BOE, but not local or network drives. Plus all the Icons from these drives have been removed. What did I do wrong?

Need more info and it's not clear what you did or what is left on your PC but typically which ever CR product you still have installed going to the Add/Remove software and doing a Repair install on Crystal Reports Designer should fix the problem.
