Install help for neo2 plat-939 mobo

Hi everyone. I first want to say "thanks" to this community for being here. Without it I would have returned my neo2-939 without further trying to get it to run right. Ok here is the situation.
Specs:
3200 939
1 gig munshkin lv2 2-2-2-5 1t
74 gig wd raptor
dvd-rom
entermax psu (431 watt)
gf6800 gt modded to ultra
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the "bh5" error I have read about I am installing the system on a 512 stick of pc2100 ddr. I will then upgrade to the munshkin pc3200.
I have a copy of win 2000 that I need to install and then upgrade to xp. After following this guide https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?threadid=54484 I was finally able to get an os installed in this system. Right now it is doing the single raid thing....
Try 1)
I installed 2000 and used the default floppy for the sata/raid setup. Once in 2000 I clicked "yes" to install the raid drivers and the system hung at the next boot right on the w2k logo screen (progress bar @ 1/2 way).
Try 2)
I installed 2000 and when the raid driver came up as "not signed...etc" in the installation process I clicked "not to install it" and the computer went bsod on me after the reboot from the install. (Could not find drive - my guess is due to a lack of a driver for the raid partition)
But with the raid driver not being the correct version (I used the floopy from the box) it hangs after the install of the "default" raid driver in w2k.
Try 3)
Install 2000 and when on the 2000 desktop and raid screen comes up I installed it then said "no" to the reboot and placed my upgrade version of xp in. All is well until it hits the xp logo in setup and the screen freezes and hd actiyity goes dead. I wait 15min before i gave up.
Sooooo
My guess is that I need to have a 2000 driver for the raid on this board. If this is the case how do I get one/find one and how do I make it
"bootable" for the system. Please take note that my 2k cd is just 2k without ANY updates. It is very old but right now it is all that I have (besides the upgrade version of xp pro). If I have to integrate the wk2 cd+updates please let me know and please tell me how to do it froma wk2 desktop (or point me to a website).

Well thanks for all of the help (crikets chirp) but I did the best thing I could with this motherboard. Send it back. No one should have to go through this kind of crap just to get a motherboard to run. Thisi product does not have quirks it has major issues. I mean look at the size of this forum and how much of it has to do with things that should be a no brainer for a manf like msi or nvidia. Off with the eng heads! :guillotine:
I am going to go back to a good old via mainboard. While you all are sitting around WONDERING if your sound will work or if your ethernet will go out in the next 30 seconds I will be off playing on my game servers in bliss on my new mobo. Help OCing Neo2 Plat w/ 6800

Ok, just for a heads up, I used the search and I couldn't find anything related to my problem, so here I am. With that being said, my specs are in my sig. Here's the problem:
I built this rig about 1 1/2 months ago. I have had a few issues, but nothing major that couldn't be solved by reading through the forums here.
Anyway, I finally decided to OC it a bit. I had previously only been playing with the BFG 6800. I had gotten some pretty good AM3 scores out of it. The CPU OCing was a piece of cake. I kept the multi at 11 and just kept raising the FSB. Now at about 223-225FSB I notice that Aquamark3, or any other 3D app, starts to become slightly glitchy. Some weird flashes of stuff here and there. This is with the graphics card running stock speeds of 350/700. I then lowered the CPU down to 11 x 209 @ 2.3G and the problem went away, even OCing the vid card as high as 380/760 wasn't a problem. I tried raising the FSB to 225 and the problem persists, regardless of vid card clocks.
Here's what I have tried so far. With the card running stock clocks of 350/700 I have tried setting the AGP frq. to 66,67,68 and 69, to no avail. I'm pretty sure the norm is 67 for it to lock. Thinking it may be my RAM, I tried it with the 166 divider, rather than the 200. So at 225FSB, the RAM should be @ 191FSB if I'm not mistaken. That didn't work, so then I tried the HTT multi, thinking it could be related to that. I tried it at 5x(when FSB below 209), 4x(when FSB sbove 209) and 3x(with ANY FSB) and still nothing worked.
I'm really kind of stumped with this and don't really know what else I can try? Is it possible the AGP/PCI lock is just failing? Is there another setting somewhere in the BIOS I need to look for? Also, the BFG 6800 has been softmodded and has all pipes enabled(16/6). Could that be the cause? If it is, why would the graphics only go crazy at higher clock speeds(hmm...I'll have to persue that)? Like I said, I'm just stumped here. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Scooter, the FSB will NOT go past 225 before the graphics get all crazy. I've tried different multi's, memory dividers, memory voltages, AGP speeds, AGP frequencies, fastwrites, sideband addressing and a ton of other crap I can't even remember at this point. If there is a configuration that works, among all the options that there are to play with, the odds of me finding it are the same as winning the lottery.
I also would like to mention that this faulty board does indeed have a 6800/MSI Nforce3 conflict that is totally unacceptable!!! I don't have the same issue with the 5900 in this box that I do with the 6800! I posted in the umpteen page thread regarding the 6800/Nforce3 conflicts too...After 3 previous MSI purchases, I can honestly say that this is the straw that broke Sillys back!

Best Bios in your opinion for Neo2 Plat

Trying all these bios's myself but just curious as to what you ppl have found to be the best bios for your setup with overclocking in mind.
The best I can do so far with my crappy samsung TCCC chips is 265X9.5 or 250X10.5
Also any Ideas why system won't boot overclocked and setting CPU multi to an even number meaning 8,9,10,11,12 the only stable boots I can get are with a half number 9.5, 10.5, 11.5 or 12

Thank you thank you. Now it totally all makes sence. I know I have a really chitty ram but now it makes sence that it won't go that high in ram frequency.

Please, need some help, K8n Neo2 plat. tried everything i knew how

Ever since installing bios1.9 my computer takes forever to boot past the windows login screen. I wait like 10 minutes and then it works. Not only that, I am unable to get online. I read that I had to reflash my bios with the Nvidia mac address on the printer port and I have done so but I am still having the same problems.
I did ipconfig/all and I have the CORRECT Nvidia mac as listed on the printer port sticker. I am at a loss. what could the problem be? It is really frustrating and I am furious at MIS for making a bios update so terrible that it would jack me up like this.
please if anyone knows what I should do or has any suggestions, post them on here. I am clueless right now.

You could try resetting the ACPI data - telling the BIOS you have a Plug 'n Play OS and that you want to reset the ACPI (or rescan the PnP settings). Often these data are corrupted/reset on a BIOS flash. There are some threads in the BIOS area regarding this, too.
If that doesn't work, even though I hate to suggest this, you could try reinstalling Windows. You can install to a different directory - like 'WindowsX' instead of writing over the existing install. This will give you a choice of booting into the new install or staying with the old one (you should get a screen to choose which one when you boot after the install).
Just speculating, the BIOS may have changed some of the settings that the Windows device drivers need and it spends a while resolving (or not resolving) these. You could try starting up in some of the troubleshooting modes (hit F8 during early Windows boot) and look at the boot log - it might show some driver install problems. Reading that log is a bit arcane and tedious, however.
Another suggestion would be to go back to the previous BIOS, if you have a copy.
If you go to the BIOS screen (DEL key on start up), do all your drives show up and are they of the correct size? I can't guess why any should be missing but HDD problems can often result in very long boot times. However, the wait is usually in the POST phase rather than Windows start-up.

As per subject line. I have Nokia car kit CK100. And require install help for Audi TT 2003 concert radio & Bose. What additional wire harness do i need?
I'm seeing lots all over ebay and the internet... And getting confused. And is it a simple as buying the lead and plug & play??
Getting contradicting advice, some say as it bose it needs to be hooked up to the fuse box etc....

New K8N NEO2 PLAT. and SC-939 3200+ help needed...

I have just upgraded my system with K8N Neo2 Plat. and sc-939 3200+ A64 Cpu.
There are several issues I need to resolve which are:
1- Although I change from BIOS the settings for AGP to 4x8x and enable fast writes, I still cant see them turned on from the Catalyst Control Center. Everything is greyed out what can I do? They all used to be on and agp was 8x with my K7N2 Delta board....
2- Although I installed the original drivers from the MSI CD, I couldn't get one of the network prts to install. Realtek installed OK. But other one is defined by the device manager as standart network adapter. What can I do?
3- I am brand new to A64 system so I do not know what setting to use from BIOS can you help me out, for instance there are values for HT such as x3 x4 x5 mine is set to x5? what is this? should I enable cool and quiet, I am not intended to do overclocking. Can you give me some tips for best performance?

Make sure your bios is up to date: version 1.5. Look at the sticky threads and use the information to enable hidden bios features. Disable ATI/NV speedup in the bios. Uninstall your drivers and reinstall. If the information is still greyed out, download the free version of Sandra here: http://downloads.guru3d.com/ and check the module under video system information. This will tell you if fast writes are enabled and your AGP setting. Leave the HT(hyper-transport) set to 5X unless you plan on oc'ing, if you do oc then may find you'll need to reduce it to 4X or 3X. Try downloading the latest driver for your network from the MSI website. Right click the device in device manager and select update, select specific location then "don't look...I'll choose", direct it to the file where you've unpacked the correct driver and then update.

K8N neo2 Plat problem with Inno3D 7600GS AGP, help pls...

Just got the new Inno3d 7600GS AGP card, after installed & while booting up my monitor keep going off and on then suddenly just went off...sometime system freeze when it reach deskstop.
Sometime lucky enough it will still there and the next few minute the system just freeze.
After several attemp & no choice, I unplug the power to the graphic card and the problem still exist.
I am using a HEC 350W PSU.
I change back to my old ati9200se card & no problem at all.
I changed to skyhawk 430W still same problem. even I boot up to safe mode still the same. Only time the monitor wouldn't go off untill it pass the winXP logo then the problem appear.
I got no problem when go to CMOS as well.
Already perform uninstall previous video driver, update latest nforce driver....all no use.

Are you running Snow Leopard or Lion? Your info says Snow Leopard. If it's lion then:
In Lion the Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and hit the Enter button - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.
Then you can locate the folders mentioned.

This should get your itunes store connection working.
Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

OS 10.4 Install DVDs for iMac G5 won't load OS 10.4 on PB G4, Help!

Having recently bought a used PowerBook G4 1.5Ghz 12", it came without Install Disks. I want to reformat the Drive in the PowerBook before I use it. I tried to use the Install disks for my iMac G5 & the iMac G5 Install disk wouldn't let me Install or Reformat the PowerBook Drive. Are the Install Disks now Product specific? Is it possible to use install disks from a G4 iBook to install OS 10.4 on my G4 PowerBook?

The OEM installer discs that come with specific Mac models generally cannot be used to install OS X on other models. In particular you cannot use the G5 installer on a G4 or vice versa.
