Can I install one license on both my Windows 7 32 bit desktop and 64 bit laptop? Can I upgrade later to Windows 8?

You are allowed two installs, so yes, no problem. (All versions of PSE are 32 bit, but it runs okay on 64 bit systems.)
EDIT Premiere Elements has a 64 bit version, if you bought the bundle.

I have an iMac and an HP laptop, can I use my one license for both?

So I asked the other day how many computers one purchase, of the education version, would cover and Adobe told me two. Now I want to know if they will cross platforms. I am looking to ask for a new desktop for Christmas and I want a iMac, but I am worried that I won't be able to get cs5 on that and my pc laptop. So I guess my question is can one license cross platforms, and what computer should I get?
I am partial to the user friendliness of Mac, but all my training and other programs are for pc.
You can see my dilemma. Please help!

Unfortunately no NobleC. The only way to reduce the cost would be if you purchased a volume license. But to receive a discount you would need to purchase more than two copies.
If you are not planning on using the Mac primarily for your creative work you could use a Windows virtual machine to run the software. The performance would not be on par with running it on the Mac natively but should be ok for minor editting and opening documents. The other option would be using Boot camp to boot into Windows and install our software while running Windows natively via Boot camp.

I have a favourite program of mine that I have gotten so used to for many years when I was a MS user. Now that I have shifted to Mac, I miss it. I went on the net and found a program called CROSS OVER. When I was about to download it, I felt it would be good to check it out with the Apple Support Communities if this would harm my system in any way if I start using CROSS OVER. So my question is:
1. Is Crossover a safe program to use?
2. Is there any other software available to install the Windows based program which will not harm the MacBook Pro?

Crossover is the best way to go for user friendly and support.
WineBottler is very old, outdated, and no longer kept up with by the creator. Its next to useless in its current state. You are much better off using Wineskin instead.
all Wine usage (which includes Crossover) is perfectly safe... the question is whether or not you can get it to work right, not if its safe to do... Wine is a constant work in progess and cannot run everything... and some things it runs will not run completely correct...

Seems you are installing a 64-bit application on a 32-bit machine. Try installing a 32-bit setup for Onedrive on your machine..

A Cloud subscription provides for installing working installations on two machines. You can have mixed operating systems (both Windows and Apple's OX).

Interesting. After posting this question I had an "Online Chat" with Adobe. I was told that the license allows up to two installations on the same operating system but not one of each. After hearing this I found the clause in the agreement that stated this.
Obviously I do not believe that this is a customer focused policy.

Yes you are correct the license is multi platform and can be on two computers. Only one in use at any point in time.
The catalogs created on one is compatable on the other platform.
There is no activate / deactivate function like Photoshop.

No. Serial numbers are platform specific and you can't have both with a single license. Only Creative Cloud is cross-platform.

Have the project, events and media on one drive which is common to both macs.
You can download FCP X to both macs using the same Apple ID that it was purchased with.

I have no idea what that message means; try uninstalling using http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html then download and reinstall the latest Reader from http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/

After installing Crystal Reports XI on Windows 2003 server with one error... REGSVR sapldap.dll error. I had to regsvr it manually. Crystal still didn't run. Found out that Crystal Reports XI will not run until you change DEP to protect only windows program and services. Thanks.

Crystal Reports XI was not compiled with the nx flag as it released before Windows XP Service Pack 2 or Windows 2003 Service Pack 1.
As for the sapldap.dll. I'm not sure where this is coming from. I do not see this dll on my install, however it does come with the SAP portal integration kit. So I'm not sure if that is flying around somewhere on that server(?)
