Hallo
Ich habe ein Problem mit der Neuinstallation meiner Photoshop CD auf meinem Rechner. Nach Abspielen der CD kommt die Meldung "Internet Explorer höher 4.0 erforderlich", obwohl ich die neuest Internet Explorer version aktiviert habe. Was kann ich tun?

I need to tell you that premiere is installed (i bought the package with
Premeiere Elements and photoshop elements 12) and I had no problem with
premiere.
I try to install it on my sons PC, because it was his Gift to christmas. He
also have an Adobe id on this PC, I dont know if that is a problem? My id
on adobe is : [email protected] and the password is Glimsager1212 and
its ok for you to look at it. Im desperate.

Problems installation Photoshop Elements 8 on Windows 7

I tried to install Photoshop elements 8 on my Windows 7 computer, but the installation gives a failure after a certain time. A file "...cab" is not working and may be corrupt ( exact failure code I can give, if necesary). Is there any possibility to get this file or the program Photoshop Elements 8 as download file so that I can complete the installation? Thank you in advance for your answers.

I just got the same problem already some time ago when I tried to install this programm in my computer. At that time (March 2012) the program crashed my computer, I had to reinstall all the Software completely including system software. The program I purchased in December 2011 from Amazon together with a Reflecta crystal Scan slide scanner as bundle, so I thought it will work.
I will try to install the program from the download link you gave me, in case it does not work, what can I do next without having to buy a newer version?

I am curious did you have this installed previously or did you just purchase a copy of Photoshop Elements 8?

Ich habe versucht, dieses Programm zu installieren. Aber es kam immer wieder der Abbruch: Fehler Shared Technologies.
Ich habe keine Ahnung, warum dies nicht mehr geht.
Unter Windows 7 kein Problem.
Ich bin ehrlich gesagt ziemlich frustriert

The error indicates that one or more of the following Shared Technologies failed to install:
Adobe Player for Embedding
Adobe Help
Camera Raw plug-in
Camera Raw profiles
Adobe ExtendScript Toolkit
Adobe XMP Panels
Microsoft Visual Studio runtimes
To resolve these issues, use the Adobe Support Advisor (ASA) to analyze the installation log file. For instructions, see Analyze install logs with Adobe Support Advisor (ASA).
Note: If you are using a downloaded installer, or running the installation from the hard drive, the Shared Technologies can fail because of the installation path. Copy the installation files to a folder to the root of the drive, such as C:\PSE<versionnumber>Installer\, and rerun the installation.

Problème installation photoshop elements 12 - 'specified path is empty'

Bonjour,
IMPOSSIBLE de réinstaller photoshop elements 12 - je l'ai télécharger hier via la fnac, j'ai tout installé, le logiciel a fonctionné et ensuite impossible de le démarrer... J'ai donc décidé de tout désinstaller afin de l'installer une nouvelle fois mais impossible, le message suivant s'affiche : 'specified path is empty'.
J'ai pourtant :
- supprimé les fichiers dans "programme files"
- Tenté de le désinstallé via "programmes et fonctionnalités" mais Photoshop n'apparaît pas
- J'ai supprimé les fichiers via Exécuter/regedit
- J'ai aussi téléchargé "Revo uninstaller" mais il ne trouve pas le programme Photoshop
J'ai biensur redémarré à plusieurs reprises mon ordinateur...
Pourriez-vous m'aider, svp ???!
Je ne peux pas utiliser Photoshop et j'ai acheté la licence hier...

Pouvez-vous suivre les instructions ci-dessous s'il vous plait :
Exécutez le Microsoft Fix It outil et réinstaller.
Accédez à l'outil Microsoft Fix It.

Cliquez sur Exécuter maintenant.
Suivez les instructions à l'écran.
Exécuter Photoshop Elements installer à nouveau.
Faites moi savoir si cela fonctionne.

Please note that i purchased the Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 and Premiere CD and when i inserted the CD's to run - when i click on the Setup folders then on the Setup Windows Installer icon - it gives me an error message "please install/uninstall this product using the SETUP.exe" .
Kindly assist me urgently.

Installing photoshop elements 13 on a hp computer with windows 8.1 DO NOT WORK and give ERROR 7 !
the explaining pages on adobe website for error 7 DO NOT GIVE A SOLUTION FOR PROBLEMS WITH WINDOWS 8 !!! (only for XP, seven and vista) !!!!!!!!!!
dowloading elements 13 from adobe website DO NOT INSTALL and bug right at the beginning !!!!!

i installed your app manager... in which there is nothing about PSE !!!!!
... and of course nothing changed the same error messages when trying to install PSE
And now how do i uninstall the app manager !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????????????????
... and still how do i install your PSE !!!
Please preserve me from adobe's 1000 unsucessful attemps to get to the installation of PSE on a win8.1 system !

Re-installation photoshop elements 11 on a new PC

My old PC have Photoshop Element 11 installed in 2013 (I still have the Serial #)
As this OLD PC cannot connect to the Internet, I am unable to disconnect Photoshop via Creative Cloud
What should I do ?????

Photoshop Elements is not part of Creative Cloud. You are allowed two installations, so even if you don't deactivate the old one, you should still be able to install it on the new computer. If you need to deactivate it, you will have to contact Adobe:

Installation Photoshop Elements 2.0 nur Seriennr. bekannt

Hallo, vielleicht kann mir jemand helfen. Ich habe noch eine alte Version von Photoshop Elements 2.0 und möchte diese auf ein neues Notebook installieren. Leider lässt sich die Installation mit der Seriennummer nicht durchführen. Es gehen soviel ich gesehen habe 4 Ziffern ab. Wie komme ich an die vollständige Nummer? Schon vielen Dank im voraus.

First of all, please do not post your serial number on a public forum.
If you can edit your post and delete the serial you posted, that would be good.
Anyway, on the windows xp machine, see if this works to get the full serial number.
Try this:
1. press the Windows Logo key + R
(that opens the Run dialog)
2. Type regedit in the dialog and press Okay
(that opens the registry editor)
3. go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0
and see if the Serial listed there works

Installation Photoshop Elements 12 "Anmeldung erforderlich"

I have installed Photoshop Elements 12. After Start I get directly the request to sign in to my AdobeID. After typing the right ID with the right password I get the same again and again. i cannot work. I tried to type a wrong password - I get the correct massage that it is wrong. So I'm shure that that is correct. I can sign in to the adobe Web Site with my AdobeId everything is o.k.
I tried to deinstall Photoshop E 12 and install again - same problem. Normaly I have to register / sign in first after 7 days but I got this directly after the first installation.
What can i do? Thanks for help

Bonjour,
Je possède un PC portable HP Envy 15-J099EF tournant sous Windows 8.1
L'installation de Photoshop Element 12 n'arrive pas à son terme (problème installation avec Shared Technologie ?) et a plantée.
La partie du programme qui avait commencé à s'installer, semble se desinstaller.
Depuis je n'arrive plus à lancer l'installation malgré que le logiciel n'apparaisse plus dans la liste des logiciels installés.
Le programme d'installation cherche quand meme a desinstaller Photoshop Elements et me retourne le message 'specified path is empty'.
Pour tenter a nouveau son installation ai du restaurer mon pc !!
Et rebelote, je tourne en bourrique (pour etre poli) !!!
Impossible aussi d'installer Premiere Elements 12 pour les memes raisons que ci-dessus. Par contre celui-ci se desinstalle correctement.
J'utilise une version telechargée.
Je tourne en rond et comme je suis pas un specialiste en informatique mais juste un utilisateur potentiel du logiciel, j'envisage
fortement de me faire rembourser cet achat.
Merci de m'aider pour résoudre ce problème si une solution existe, mais y en a t'il une ?
Ai regarde dans les forums, dans les aides de Adobe mais cela n'a pas donne de resultats.

Rollback after installation - Photoshop Elements 8

Hello,
I was hoping you could help me install my Adobe Photoshop Elements 8.0 on my computer. I have the software DVD but everytime I try to install it it goes all the way to registering product then starts "ROLLING BACK" and I get a message reading: "please try again, the installation was interrupted." I have been trying to figure out how to do this but am not very computer savvy.
I am running Windows Vista, and have currently installed on my computer: PSE 5.0 and Lightroom.
Please help me, if you can. Thank you!!

Install logs might help... --> http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-installation-install-logs-cs3.html (not sure if they are in the same place, but it's always worth a try). When it rolls back, it can't move the files from a temp location to the final location and usually that means shared components version conflicts, requiring to uninstall every bit of Adobe software and then reinstalling in proper order...
