Installed eprint app on ipad2 and iphone, have compatible printer hp oj 8500a , but can't print

I have installed the eprint app on my Ipda2 and Ipone 3gs and still not able to print anything except pictures?? can't figure out why when I'm in email, documents, etc eprint nir airprint come up. My printer is an HP OfficeJet Pro 8500a Plus, compatible with both. If I use Print Direct App i can print documents I save to that app but don't really want to use that and prefer to use airprint or eprint. HELP

I would recommend:
Going to the Web Services menu inside the Setup menu.
Enabling Web Services.
Install any updates that are available after enabling web services (the printer will prompt your or you can manually check for updates under the Web Services menu).
Make sure your iPad and iPhone are connected to the same network as the printer.
Try the AirPrint option located in one of the default apps (Safari, Photos, or Mail).

From your backups. By doing a clean install you erased your startup volume. You may have installed OS X, but your personal software was erased. You can restore from backups if your have them. If not, then you've lost it all, permanently.

I can print wirelessly from laptop but printing from i-Phone has stopped working. It locates the printer and says it's "sending to printer" but nothing happens on the printer. I have shut down i-phone and rebooted computer but it's still not working.

installed new operating system 8 yesterday now cannot pair iPhone 4S and iPad2 - top left says "no service" but finds each other when personal hotspot is turned on on iPhone. iPad does not have a sim.

Thank you for your response James. The weird thing is before the update , Vodafone was displayed in the top left hand corner of the screen. Now when I try to pair the two and they can be next to each other on he table, neither can see the other so they're not connecting. they both say "connection unsuccessful" make sure they're in range and turned on which of course they are. What are your thoughts?

Hi there, take a look at this support docuemnt for the AirPrint solution for printing from Apple mobile devices. In particular read the sections titled "What if a 'No AirPrint Printers Found' message displays on my Apple device?" and "What if I experience problems when I try and use AirPrint?"
Follow the suggested trouble shooting steps in the order listed and post back if you're still having problems.

I have a hp officejet pro 8500a plus. can i print in all black when the other ink colors are out?

i'd like to find out if there is a way i can still in black if i have one color cartridge empty

This model has separate ink supplies and printheads. Ink is required in all the colors to keep the printheads and plumbing from clogging. See this page for information on how ink is used.

You have to install the iCloud control panel for windows, then sign in with you apple ID, and check what you want to sync.

You will need to setup a new Apple ID for your sister. You have to have an Apple ID and iDevice connected and using that account to get an iCloud account.

This is my first attempt at using this forum so please be patient with me. I am new to the apple world. Bought an Imac desktop computer back in October and installed Microsoft Office for Mac 2011 because I was used to Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and outlook. Now I am being told that I should be using ical for my calendar so that I will be better able to move to icloud for use between my Imac, Ipad2, and Iphone.
The question is: how do I move my calendar which is in "Outlook for Mac 2011" into ical on my Mac? Do I have to remove the Outlook entries from the computer and reinstall them back to the same machine or can I somehow move calendar entries within the machine? I appreciate any help I can get. Apple's rules for their app store do not allow programs such as Firefox to be run on their iOS devices. We do have a tool to allow access to your Firefox Sync bookmarks and history on your iOS device.

If it's a 3rd party app you may need to go into Settings and give the app permission to view and sync with the contacts. Go to Settings > general > restrictions and choose 'Enable Restrictions.' Then go down to 'Contacts' and make sure that the app you installed is turned off so that it has access to your contacts.

Why do most my apps on my ipad2 and iPhone 4S constantly keep crashing some apps I can't even use some of my apps because as they load they crash? My internet is one of them.... Ever since I updated ios7 I've had this issue it's rather annoying! help ! :(

To fix this you have 3 choices either to try to delete the applications you are trying to use and reinstall them. Update IOS7 to delete or remove any bugs you had. Or just go back and use IOS6 if i was working perfectly.

You can continue to use the current AppleID for iTunes, but your husband can create a new AppleID to use to create a new iCloud account that will be his own and not overlap with yours. If you do not have another email address to use for an AppleID, just get a free Gmail account and use that.
You can have as many AppleIDs as you want (or at least, as many as you have email addresses for). You can use a separate AppleID for the store, another for iCloud, and even another for iMessage if you wish.
You will want to keep the current one as the shared one for the store as all your previous purchases are permanently tied to it, and thus you need that AppleID to update or redownload your current purchased content.
