First, note that this is a user-to-user forum. If you want to contact Adobe, you'll need to call or write them on their main site.
That said, as the note says at the top of the forum, you're going to have to provide us a lot more information if you want us to help you. "Stopped working" doesn't tell us much. Does this mean that it was working in the past but then stopped? What stopped? What did it do that it's not doing now? What were you doing when it stopped? Was it when you were adding video to your project, for instance?
What operating system are you using? If Windows, have you manually gone to Windows Update and made sure you've got the non-critical updates, which don't download automatically to your system? Have you ensured you have the latest version of Quicktime, per the program's requirements?
How fast is your processor, how much RAM do you have and how much free, clean, defragmented space is on your hard drive?
What model of camcorder is your video coming from and what format and resolution is it? Did you use Premiere Elements to get the video from your camcorder to your Premiere Elements project?

There is a message at the lower left coner saying display performance will be poor due to incorrect operating graphics card or driver!
This message is always there.
The problems happens with all project with Apple MOV file from my Canon SD780 a 720 30 frame H.264 file
With a project empty (no clips) imported the problem does not happens. As soon as you import a file the error happens.
This is a brand new W7 install 2 HD SATA separate from the DVD IDE channel.
Swapp file also separate in the second HD.
The videos were imported from the folder since i already had the files before i bought Elements
The preview of the mov files (just open the file without any editing) in Elements is very choppy. In Windows (in QuickTime) it is perfect and uses only 35% of CPU

thanksWith the new nVidia drivers, the first thing that you will want to do will be to go to the nVidia console and disable 3D Sterevision. No Adobe program can use it. It is designed for gamers with the 3D Stereovision goggles.
If that does not fix things, go back to the console and disable PhysX. It too is a gamer module.

I downloaded and installed Photoshop Elements 13 & Premiere Elements. I then launched Photoshop Elements Organizer and imported approx. 28,000 photos (including some videos). A window opened indicating that many of the photos had tags, and asking if I wanted to add the tags. I said yes, and the process began. When it reached 60% a window opened indicating that "Elements 13 Organizer has stopped working", with the only option being to "Close program."
I've tried to open organizer several times, but it goes immediately to "Elements 13 Organizer has stopped working". I was able to open Editor, and tried opening Organizer from Editor, but encountered the same problem. Same when I opened from Premiere Elements.
I’ve uninstalled/reinstalled Elements 13 three times, twice using the Akamai downloader, and once using the Alternate method. It said installation completed, but when I opened the program, it went straight to the error "Elements 13 Organizer has stopped working". These times I didn't get to import my photos or their associated tags.I already checked that and I have the latest drivers for my printer. Thanks for the suggestion though. Dennis

First deactivate the product(s) and then uninstall it from the machine using the procedure specifically for your OS. If in Windows and I suspect it is then uninstall from the Control Panel.
To deactivate the product you need to go Editor and then:
Help >> Deactivate
Please also make sure that you have your original CDs and /or DVDs handy including the necessary serial number as you will need them to install the product(s) again.
After uninstalling the products, you need to restart the machine before you start to install again.
You have created the backups of your sentimental photos, right? You need to just in case the machine causes more problems down the line.

I have Photoshop Elements 7.0 and when I go to sort the photos in order (from oldest date) I keep getting the message "Photoshop Elements 7.0 has stopped working" and then the program closes. Sometimes, eventually it has sorted as I request but today this has been rejected over 15 times. What is wrong?

Elements 10 Organizer Has Stopped Working.
I recently purchase Adobe Elements & Premier 10 programs and both have been working well for about 2 weeks. Now, when I opene Organizer, the program loads and appears but immediately it stops working with the message: "Elements 10 organizer has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."
I uninstalled the program and reinstalled it but no change. The Editor in Elements 10 starts and works fine. I am running Windows Vista. Nearly each day I get a Windows update notice and install it. I also frequently defrag my hard drive. I am having no other issues with my computer.
I have tried a few of the suggestions from others on this forum but nothing helps. I have also tried the Restore feature on Windows but it never Restores for me.
Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Edit à Preferences à Organize & Share
Then select Media Analysis and turn everything off by un-checking all the boxes.
Also try making a direct shortcut for the Organizer and see if you can launch the program directly from the desktop bypassing the welcome screen.
On Windows, Right click anywhere on the desktop and select New à Shortcut
Then click the browse button and navigate to:
"C:\Program Files\Adobe\Elements 10 Organizer\PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe"
Then click Next; then click Finish
N.B. on 64 bit systems navigate to Program Files (x86) -
Elements 12 organizer has stopped working on importing of files
I am running a brand new PC w8.1 fresh install, second install of elements and photoshop 12. when I am attempting to import my files in the organizer I am getting a consistant crash "Elements 12 organizer has stopped working". Need assistance to make this go away.
Background:
The crash happens while importing videos or photos (have not even gotten to the part to work with files yet)
I have tried to take smaller imports (less then a couple hundred files) but that doesn't seem to matter.
It is not crashing on a consistent file. Sometimes when I try again, it completes the import.
Brand new Dell PC 7i, 24 gig ram, amd advance graphics card (PC not the issue)
Windows 8.1 pretty much out of the box.
Tried to "rename" the psa file to psaold, (still crashing).
Re installed software, no change
Downloaded the latest updates for everything.

If you are having issues with being unable to attach a photo from Mail on your iPhone, you may want to try some things to troubleshoot.
First, quit all running applications and test again -
Force an app to close in iOS
Next, I would try restarting and if needed resetting the iPhone -
Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If the issue is still present, you may want to restore the iPhone as a new device -

Photoshop elements 12 editor has stopped working.
This is the error message I get. Photoshop elements 12 editor has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.
The programme opens and then crashes. I took it all off my computer and then reloaded it again but have the same message. If anyone can help I would be grateful.@Please try couple of probable solutions as mentioned below:
Solution 1:
1. Close Elements.
2. Launch the Photoshop Elements Welcome Screen and hold down ctrl + alt + shift as you click Editor.
3. Continue to hold the keys until you see a message box asking if you want to delete Photoshop Elements settings file; click Yes. Elements will open with default preferences.
Solution 2: In case any network printer is attached try to launch without network or printer uninstall or make different printer as default.
Solution 3: Try launching with anti-virus off or removing PSE from conflicting list.
Solution 4:
On the drive on which you have installed PSE,on my machine it is on C:
Go to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 12\Locales\<locale>\Plug-Ins\Import-Exportand you will find twain plug-in. Remove that plug-in from that location and copy it somewhere else.
Now launch PSE and check if it works. -
Elements 10 Organizer has stopped working (again)
Upgraded fromearlier version and successfully imported catalog. Have been doing weeks worth of organizing, when this morning an album was open and I got some kind of corruption error message. I repaired the catalog, despite being informed there was no corruption and,.when it completed, I began getting "Elements 10 Organizer has stopped working" errors from Windows 7. From this point forward, the error occurs seconds after opening the organizer. I have tried deleting the psa.prf and status.dat, with no luck.
I have also tried launing the organizer directly, also with no luck. After reading several related posts, I am getting the sense that this product is now being sold without support, ala some 1980's software.
Does anybody have a clue as to why this is happening?

Elements 13 Organizer has stopped working
I have an updated Win 8 64 bit laptop which i have just installed Elements 13 on. My first encounters with this software results in this error:
When select the organiser, i get a message:
"Elements 13 Organizer has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
Windows will close the program and notify if a solution is available.
Close program"
I cant get past this.
Hope for some help please!Hi - this is an old, old one....Got tired of non-answers from Adobe. Well I succeeded in fixing it (apologies for my English). In my case, I found out that the problem was caused by corrupted catalog files. This is what I did to isolate:1) Held the shift key and started Organizer. 2) Selected Manage Catalogs 3) Selected a different catalog from the one that was in use 4) The problem disappeared so the conclusion was that the previous catalog was causing the problem. This is what I did to fix it: 1) went back to manage catalogs 2) selected the faulty catalog 3) selected the Repair catalog option 4) In my case, the application told me the application gave me a message indicating that the catalog had no issues...5) well i went ahead and clicked the Repair option and it seems it did repair it. 6) I selected this repair catalog as the current catalog 7) Organizer has been running since then. This started happening suddenly a day ago.
Once I bring a photo into the program a window appears reading, "Photoshop Elements 12 editor has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working. Windows will close the program & notify you if a solution is available."
The program has been working fine up until a day ago.
Please advise a fix.Please try couple of probable solutions as mentioned below:
Solution 1:
1. Close Elements.
2. Launch the Photoshop Elements Welcome Screen and hold down ctrl + alt + shift as you click Editor.
3. Continue to hold the keys until you see a message box asking if you want to delete Photoshop Elements settings file; click Yes. Elements will open with default preferences.
Solution 2: In case any network printer is attached try to launch without network or printer uninstall or make different printer as default.
Solution 3: Try launching with anti-virus off or removing PSE from conflicting list.
Solution 4:
On the drive on which you have installed PSE,on my machine it is on C:
Go to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 12\Locales\<locale>\Plug-Ins\Import-Exportand you will find twain plug-in. Remove that plug-in from that location and copy it somewhere else.
Now launch PSE and check if it works. -
Elements 12 Optimizer has stopped working
I use Windows 8.1
When I try to add music to my slide shows I get this message " Elements 12 Optimizer has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available"
I have contacted Microsoft who has investigated thoroughly the issue from their perspective. Their advice is what t I need now is for Adobe to tell me how to remove the add-in or plug in that's causing this crash."
I hope someone can assist as at the moment Photoshop 12 (which I have had for 2 months) is not doing what I bought it for.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled Photoshop 12 twice and have ensured that all the latest updates have been added.
Can anyone assist?
