Installer file damaged Windows 7

Help! Non - Tech hear. I get the following message when trying to install an adobe app on Windows 7 OS "The application could not be installed because the installer file is damaged. Try obtaining a new installer file from the application author." I've tried installing another app and the same message. This has never happened to me before. When I try to uninstall adobe air I get this error message: "An error occurred while uninstalling Adobe AIR. Uninstallation may not be allowed by your administrator. Please contact your administrator" See logs below:

AIR 1.5 Installer File Damaged(file size issue?)

I am trying to publish a large air destop app. I have been trouble shooting the error and this is what I have found:
1. When I publish it and i have less than 27mb of inculded files, it publishes and can be installed.
2. When I add another 1.5mb of included files, and publish it, flash starts to not respond then kicks back in and creates the air file.
2.1 When I try to install this file it says installer file damaged.

3. Thought it was the certificate so I created a new one and nothing.
3.1 I removed the time stamp and nothing.
3.2 I did an air intermediate file to be signed later and nothing.
My last thought is that my computer hardware is to slow and while it freezes during publishing, the air file gets messed up.
Anyone have any issues like this. Not sure what to make of it but I don't want to by a new computer if its not the above problem.

It took a couple days but I figured it out. I thought It was a problem with the size since I had about 900 images and sounds but it turned out to be an issue with how I name one single mp3 file.
I had "&" is the name. for some reason when I published the air it corrupted it.

[Fixed] AIR Install issue: Unable to install/installer file damaged

Hi,
If you are facing the 'installer file damaged' error on installing AdobeStory desktop application please follow the following steps:
- download the installer directly from this link - https://story.adobe.com/2310AIRFix/AdobeStory.air
- double click to install.
- If you still see an error please uninstall current version of Adobe Story completely - drag drop the application to trash (on mac) and then try installing again by double clicking on the installer (AdobeStory.air).

To get the installation logs, do the following:

Open the Console application from the Applications/Utilities folder.

Trial of premier elements 13 download assistant gives error: installer file damaged. I have a windows 8 lenovo computer

I was hoping to trial premier elements 13 but each time I try I get an error message: "Sorry, an error has occured. The application could not be installed because the installer file is damaged. Try obtaining a new installer file from the application author."
I've tried chrome & internet explorer. I've tried deleted the install assistant from my applications (it's not there). & I have administrative rights on my computer. I have CS5 design premium installed on my computer already. Not sure what else to try...please help.

I'm following my school's link to download the Master Suite Collection CS6 and once I download the Download Assistant, the red adobe box pops up and another box pops up and tells me that there is an error with the installer file, that it is damaged and to ask my applicaton site for another?

try changing the compatibility of the install.bat or install.exe to windows 7 or vista or xp or 2008 and then run the client install see if that helps

Issues launching Flashplayer installer file in Windows 8.1

I am running Windows 8.1 and attempted to download Flashplayer for Firefox. The Flashplayer installer will not launch. I only get a gray box, with no action happening.
I have Flashplayer working in IE, but it will not launch for Firefox. Any ideas on what might be blocking the Flashplayer installer from running in Windows 8.1? I already checked to see if it was installed, but not turned on in Firefox, but the plug-in does not show up.

Need OBIEE 11.1.1.5.0 Installation File for Windows 64 Bit

Hi,
I know that oracle has stopped supporting OBIEE 11.1.1.5.0 hence we couldn't download it from oracle.com.
We are in process of upgrading our existing OBIEE version 11.1.1.5.0 to newest one. Before to that we need to configure UAT with horizontal clustering. To cluster the existing version i need OBIEE 11.1.1.5.0 installer.
If anybody could share external link or make it available.

What version of Mac OS do you have? I'm guessing it's 10.6.8, which is not supported by App Builder. You need to update to a newer version of Mac OS.

How to download lion installation files using windows

Hi,
I installing a SSD into my new Macbook Pro and need to download Lion so I can do a clean install.
My problem is that I only have 1GB download limit at home so I would like to download at work. But work only has Windows based machines. Is there anyway to download it on a windows?
The nearest Apple store is 2 hours drive away, and I cannot connect my Mac into the work network.
Any suggestions?

You can download it, on a Mac. Do you know someone with a wireless network and a large download limit?
I would seriously be looking at updating your Internet Plan. A standard update of any OS (Not just the inital Lion download) will wipe out your allowance in one hit. If you want to keep your system up to date, you will find it almost impossible on 1GB of monthly download data. Even if you bought Snow Leopard and installed it, the updates would well outweigh your allowance.
