it begins ad stops at 1% (installing enterprise Manager Minimal Integration
(copying oracle_ice5.jar
I amon window 2000 pro with service pack 4
any help

I ran the following script:
select sum(bytes) from dba_data_files
It returned this number: 950927360
What does this mean? Thanks for all your help. I can't believe that my hard disk only has 26.7 GB free space when it had 210 GB free space before the Oracle installation. This is horrible! Any help you all can provide will be greatly appreciated.

The question at hand is simple indeed;
Is it possible to install Fireworks CS4 without other "hang-on" programs? Especially Bridge CS4?
See the problem is were running version cue cs3, and we simply cannot shift to cs4, cause VC CS4 is not recognised by bridge cs3. Hairy yes.
Some of us need ONLY fireworks cs4, cause its miles better than cs3, but it automatically installs bridge cs4. And this kind of sucks, cause
we cant use the cs3 version cue server after that.

Have you tried removing the unwanted version and then, possibly, installing/repairing to the old?
If you're uncomfortable editing your registry, then WinASO has a good registry cleaner: http://www.winaso.com/ (That's for Windows. Don't know how Macs do things.)
Other than that, I suggest you contact Adobe Support.

Maverick installed, follow up update is hanging

I installed maverick successfully as well as keynote etc. the App Store indicated I needed to do an additional update for mavericks. Stated my MacBook Air would restart and install. It has been hanging at about 10% complete for an hour now. How can I fix this? Any help is greatly appreciated as I am new to mac.

The official Apple response to this problem is to do this:
Quit (or if necessary, Force Quit) Software Update.Note: If the issue occurs while installing an update after log out (such as an update that requires a restart), shut down your Mac by holding down the power button, then power it back on.
Click the Finder icon in the Dock.
From the Go menu choose "Go to Folder".
Type: /Library/Updates
Click Go. The /Library/Updates folder opens.
Select all contents of this folder and move them to the Trash.
Or, if you're really concerned, you can bring the MBP over to your Apple Store.

Logic Studio 9.0 install problem (custom audio disk hang)

When I install Logic Studio (full version not upgrade) on my iMac which is new, The install goes okay till it asks for Audio Content disk #1. After installing disk #1 it asks for the Logic Install DVD again and then hangs. After a while is says installation failure - contact software provider. Anyone know why it does this? Can't contact provider (apple) cause they aren't running phone support out of hours...
Have the seen this failure on a few BB's but not answered.

ios8 for my iphone 5 = crashes, hot phone, restarts, dropped calls, funny looking fuzzy 'senior picture screen' with frost on the perimeter..... Just opening 'message' for texts takes 3-4 seconds to load, where previously, it was milliseconds latency speeds. I think they pressed this OS beyond the reasonable functional limit of the hardware (phones), especially with the older phones and/or phones with less memory.
It's like an athlete on steroids, the bones can't handle the force of the muscles and something is gonna BREAK!
When did we ever come to think that $400 phones would become 2-4 year disposable items and revere at the glory of it all! And whether we realize it or not, it's being shoved down our throats.
Just fix the OS please so my phone can work for me as it has in the past.
For the $$ being paid out, we shouldn't have to reset, restart, restore......

Running Win7Pro64. Tried to update to 3.6.4 and it failed. It said to download the whole program so I did. Tried to install and says that the "License File" is missing. SO I go to un-install 3.6.3 myslef with Control Panel. All that did was remove Firefox as a listed program in control panel, all of it is still there in Explorer and it runs fine. So I go to use Helper.Exe under the Uninstall folder of Mozilla Firefox and when I click that, it says "Not a Valid Win-32 Application" What's up with that?? All I want to do is remove 3.6.3 so that I can clean install 3.6.4. I tried installing 3.6.4 two different ways with failures both times. I tried to remove 3.6.3 using two different ways, and that also failed both times.

I know the Firefox developers had good reasons for introducing this feature, but they failed to consider their users who are web developers.
I've installed a web server on my computer to help with web design, and I access the homepage through http://localhost
However this won't work in offline mode, and (with my dial-up connection and all) it's not practical to always dial in to my ISP just to have Firefox start in online mode, plus I don't need to be *actually/literally* online to access my local web server. And the extra clicks to File -> Work Offline are a pain.
The best option IMHO would be to provide a pain-free way to disable this setting for advanced users. Emphasis on *pain-free*.

There is no Lion DVD. Start Boot Camp Assistant and select the menu item to download the Windows Support Software.

Let's try a standalone Apple Mobile Device Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of why it's not installing under normal conditions.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:
http://www.rarlab.com/
Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi (or AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi) to do a standalone AMDS install.
(If it offers you the choice to remove or repair, choose "Remove", and if the uninstall goes through successfully, see if you can reinstall by doubleclicking the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi again.)
Does it install (or uninstall and then reinstall) properly for you? If so, can you get a normal iTunes install to go through properly now?

Here is what worked for me:
My usb hub, being usb2, was too fast. I moved the wire to a usb port directory on my pc. That is a usb1 port which is slow enough to run your snyc.

Is there anything else beside the number 2203?
Try removing the current Reader using http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html, then install 11.0.07 from http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/
