I have not admin authorization. And adobe flash player cant install. I can work with chrome and IE with adobe flash player but firefox cant.
How can i solve this problem.

How to Install Adobe Flash player without Google Chrome?

I am using IE9 with Bing as my search engine on a 64bit Windows Vista System. When I tried to watch a video while online I received the error msg that I needed to download Adobe Flash Player. When I tried to download the Flash Player I saw that Google Chrome was also being downloaded. I have tried Chrome twice in the past, and really do not like it. How do I download Just Adobe Flash Player?

Frequent Fails when installing Adobe Flash Player (Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8.0, and Windows 8.1)

Constantly see the following error message from Adobe Flash Player Installer:
Error has been encountered. Close this window and try downloading again.
What in heck does that error message mean?
This message occurs most of the time when I try to update to the latest version of Adobe Flash Player.
It would be one thing if it was only occurring on Windows XP, but it shows up on Windows 7, Windows 8.0, and Windows 8.1 frequently.
Just for curiousity looked at the Windows 8.1 Event Viewer and NO error message shows up there.
Would be nice to:
(1) know what the error really is so that it can be reported to you to get it fixed once and for all.
(2) have Adobe Flash Installer NOT to delete itself every time that the installer is run.
(3) have an OFFLINE download installer to download and install Adobe Flash Player without the MacAfee installer.
(4) have Adobe UNCHECK that the Install MacAfee installer that you have to opt out of each time you do an Adobe Flash Player download. You should make it to OPT IN not OPT OUT! Don't need another program installed without my permission. This causes issues when I have to uninstall MacAfee on computers that others in my family use.
It seems to takes up to 20 times to download the Adobe installer over a period of many days or weeks to get it to install properly.
I have written software for over 36 years as a computer programmer and now Senior Software Developer. I have do installers on my own and have to figure out how to solve my own issues on the installers to get them fixed.
This issue doesn't seem to be tied to any particular version of Windows... Same issue occurs on Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8.0, and Windows 8.1! The ONLY commonality seems to be Adobe Flash Player.
Certainly Adobe should be smart enough to fix this issue once and for all.
If the issue is that there is a network congestion error that it cannot download the installer, please say so and please please please DO NOT delete the downloaded installer every time that it is run on a PC.
I'd like to fix the security issues with the Adobe Flash Player AS SOON as there is a patch for it. I don't like having security issues over a long period of time.
Please address this issue so that I can put this to bed and not have to keep sending you messages that once again the Adobe Flash Player Installer is yet again broken!
Certainly you have a staff at Adobe that CAN fix this problem quickly!

You don't need an Adobe ID or password to install Flash Player, but you may need to provide your system's Administrator password during the installation.

Installing Adobe Flash Player via microsoft Group Policy

I created two MSI files as recommended by Adobe and install the flash player updates through Group Policy. I have it setup so that the MSI files get published in windows 7 program/features. so when people are on the VPN they can install it manually. When they click on the application, they get an error saying you must have administrative priviliedges to install adobe flash player 12.
There is something in the MSI file stopping it from installing as if you publish it in Program/Features via Group Policy it should allow them to install it without administrative rights as they can install Java software with no issues.ny assistan

Win2012, like Win 8, has Flash Player embedded into IE by Microsoft. The ActiveX plugin cannot be installed from any download here. There is a Windows Update KB patch and two registry keys that prevent it. Unless you manually remove those, the only way to do anything with Flash Player ActiveX for Win8 or Win2012 is through Windows Update.
Those losers in Redmond (or India) only told you to get it fixed here because they REFUSE to accept responsibility for the gabrage browser they shoved down everyone's throats with IE11.
If you're in a corporate environment and cannot use another browser, then the best you can do is repair IE (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/318378) and run Windows update again.

But there is no updating the ActiveX plug-in from here, in spite of what Microsoft told you.

I have administrative prviledges.
I obtained the latest version from the Adobe website.
When I double click on the .dmg file I receive a message that I need to close open browsers which I do.
Then I get a message stating that Adobe will be installed when I reopen browers.
Finally when I check the Applications folder I find a file titled: Install Adobe Flash Player.
This same application is shown in the dock.
When I click in the file in either the Applications folder or the dock, the complete installation process starts again.
Any suggestions?

Hello experts, I wonder if this sounds familiar to you : I'm trying to install adobe flash player 11 on my iMac ( 10.7.3 ) but without success. Downloading is ok but installing is a problem, after starting the installing process it results not in the application but in the installing manager. Anybody any idea?

I should point out that Flash Player is not a standalone application. It's a plug-in that is accessible to all browsers.
On SL it installs at Macintosh HD > Library > Internet Plug-Ins > Flash Player.plugin
I understand that in Lion the Library folders are hidden, so you may need to use the Finder Go menu to get there.
Get info on that will tell you the installed version so you'll know if the install was successful or not.

Hi there everyone, this is my first post over here.
I have looked everywhere and can't seem to find a 1605 error code linked with Adobe Flash.
I'm working on a project to fix Adobe Flash installation failures. The current error i'm stuck on is 1605
The installs and uninstalls are already packaged, i only have around 5 failures so far, we have many successful installtions so I know the package isn't corrupt.

I see a differen't product code getting removed on other machines and that's prob because they had a different version of flash installed.
I was however able to install adobe flash versions 11.8 and below successfully, it's just versions 11.9 that fail.

Hey the cleanup method didn't work.
However, i could get the latest flash installed without the package, for some reason it keeps failing with the package. Version 11.8 and under installs with the package.
I know the package works because we've used the same package for thousands of other machines and they've worked.

I have uninstalled Adobe and reinstalled it, I've tried restarting my browser, then my MacBook Pro without any success!
When I click on the Apple in the upper left hand corner and open System Preferences I can see Adobe Flash Player on the bottom under the Other section.
If I open Adobe up and check the version it tells me that I have the most recent version!
I even uninstalled Adobe and installed the newest Beta version, but Adobe is still not working! If I check for the latest version it tells me that I do have the latest beta version, but it still doesn't work!
If the person who made the video used any other video player it works!
Their player, plays the video without a problem!

I have tried several times to download and install Adobe Flash Player update version 11.7.700.169 without success. My OS is Windows XP with SP3 and my web browser is Internet Explorer. My current Adobe Flash Player version is 11.6.602.180. I am unable to install on Windows 7, the current downloaded standalone installer for Adobe Flash Player 11.5.502.146. I uninstalled the old Flash Player using the adobe uninstaller. Nothing happens after I double click the latest installer file named install_flashplayer11x32ax_gtba_chra_dy_aih.exe. There are no error messages, all that happens is the installer file deletes itself. I have checked in the Windows Task Manager for any active Flash Player processes and are there are none. The online installer for Firefox worked fine and installed the Flash Player without problems. I am unable to find any solutions on the adobe webpage "Flash Player Help - Installation problems | Flash Player | Windows" (linked to the download page). I am up against a brick wall, and your assistance will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I'm glad you were able to work around this. I hope IE10 works well for you (I've been using it on Win8 but haven't tried the preview for Win 7 yet.) In the future, you can also try to use the stand alone installers located here:
