Installing data quality management for sap for multiple sap system

Hello folks,
I have an Requirement where i need to install data quality management for sap in multiple sap system.
I have installed it successfully for one system .
here my data services is installed in one server with rfc server as windows services in same server.
i have done the required configuration in ecc side.
my question is how do i use same data services jobs which are configured as real time services for both my sap connection?
in simple terms how do i installed dqm for multiple sap system having single data services server.

Could you please let me know if the standard XML file sent by the RFC server contains the Account_group column.

Hi,
the additional data tab is controlled by means of classes created in DMS.
if your requirement is something like,
project name
responsible person name etc..
for this - in CL01, you can create class, say Project XYZ
in CT04 - you can create characteristics as project name and person name..etc for this class.
in each characteristics you can maintain the values which will serve the requirement.

Can Quality Manager Record Calls for a Non Agent Extension

Hi ,
We have a customer running UCCX 8.x with quality manager. The customer is asking if they can record a regular extension (non-agent) with qulity manager. This extensions have no connection to the contact center , it is just a regular extension registered in CUCM,

Yes you most certainly can record non-acd lines, you can record users that are non-acd users as well. We refer to these as Knowledge Workers:
QM is not dependant on the ACD lines themselves in order to record, we record based on Device, and every line on that device can be recorded if configured to do so.
If you are simply using Server or Network recording, you just need to configure the device, and enable for BIB (Network Recording), or setup a SPAN session if doing Server recording. We will then use CTI events to record

How to install Data Quality Client on Windows when the Servers are on AIX

I have installed ODI, ODI DP and DQ Servers on an AIX machine. However, Oracle Data Quality Client is an Windows only component. How do i install it? When I use the software of ODI, for Windows platform,I get the following error when i try to connect.

Reconciliation data quality management tools

When you start out a new IDM implementation project or when you expand the scope of an IDM solution in an organization one of the problems you are always faced with is to determine the data quality in the already present identity data. Is the primary key that you think you can use actually present in every record? If not in every record how many records lacks it? Are there any primary key collisions? How are the secondary attributes?
In theory you could connect your OIM instances, configure the recon and see what results you get but in many cases you want quick, simple answers and configuring the whole recon process is not always quick and easy. I have mostly been using Excel or a separate database and Java/Sql to do the transformations.
Has anyone found a good tool to do this kind of work?

Yes your right DataGuard Broker, but i want to try with the (GUI ) Data Guard Manager. But in OEM in Oracle 9i I dont see any option named DataGuard Manager

Appreciate your suggestion. My intention was also to post it in the right forum but i could not find any forum for Oracle Revenue Management and Billing, since its a new product.

I am new to TREX BAS, from what i have gathered and understood BAS can help in identifying new duplicates when users are keying in data and and TREX helps in throwing a popup to alert the user to either chnage the data or accept the data as it is duplicate data to prevent duplication.
however what i am not sure is can i use BAS to search duplcates in existing master data accounts. ?

We are planning to implement Hyperion public sector planning and budgeting in school and we have SchoolMax systerm (Student information System) that contain student information.
Now we want to use Hyperion FDQM to fetch data from Schoolmax and put them in Hyperion PSPB which is target, Can we use FDQM for that?

We just went live with Public Sector Planning and Budgeting. We used Outline Load Utility to load source data into the cube. It was documented here too: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E17236_01/epm.1112/psb_user_11122.pdf Check page 245.
You should have a read of Data Loading Preparation Tasks on page 38.

Data Quality Manager component Crashing during Batch Key Generation?

Hi All,
I have setup batch key generation for "FINS Members" buscomp and when the job is executed the task crashes always. I have observed the crash is not consistent on a particular data.
Most of the times we get FDR file generated and sometimes we have another file "hs_err_pid xxx.log" in the siebel server BIN directory.
When batch is executing one specific record it seems to be running out of memory.
Below is the detail from the crash log:-
Virtual memory info:
Total : 2097024 KB
Available : 1122452 KB
Available extendent: 0 KB
Few Crash Scenario 's:-

73 Contacts - DqMgr CRASH while processing the record "1-908F9". After removing the record from the system, batch job completed with no crash. The contact record has two address associated with this and the name details are below:
Last Name - ER11 PASS 3 LN
First Name - ER11 PASS 3 FN
Middle Name - ER11 PASS 3 MN
Two Address Associated
689 contacts DqMgr CRASH while processing the record "1-6KRHD". After removing the record from the system, batch job completed with no crash. The contact record has one address associated with this and the name details are below:
Last Name - UAT TESTING
First Name - SCENARIO 6 CLIENT
Middle Name - DO NOT USE
One Address Associated

I would recommend you to check the record and if there are any differences between this record and the others for which the process gets completed.
Also, please raise a Service Request with Oracle Tech Support with all the relevant logs so that we can analyse the issue in detail and suggest you further recommendations.

I have a requirement: There are number of cleansing rules defined in different quality product. I need to integrate that quality tool with SAP MDM. Is it possible to do this? I guess with the help of Java API's!!!!
Can I use MDM enrichment controller here? If yes, than how to use it.

Can anyone assist me to fix this problem from FDM? I received the error below when I tried to logon to FDM from the Web client.

Look within the Hyperion FDM web directory and do a search for the web.config file. If you need to look where that is, look at your IIS configuration and see the hard path (i.e. C:\<HYPERION HOME>\HyperionFDM_WebFiles).

As far as I can see Apple doesn't have to fix anything with Software Update because it is working perfectly for myself and the users I help to support.
So maybe if you can give us more details; such as what error messages are you getting, what have you done so far to solve this problem.

Data Services and Data Quality Recommnded Install process

Hi Experts,
I have a few questions. We have some groups that have requested Data Quality be implemented along with another request for Data Services to be implemented. I've seen the requested for Data Services to be installed on the desktop, but from what I've read, it appears to be best to install this on the server side to allow for more of a central benefit to all.
My questions are:
1. Can Data Services (Server) install X.1 3.2 be installed on the same server as X.I 3.1 SP3 Enterprise?
2. Is the Data Services (CLIENT) Version dependent on if the Data Services (Server) install is completed? Basically can the u201CData Services Designeru201D be used without the Server install?
3. Do we require a new License key for this or can I use the Enterprise Server license key?
4. At this time we are not using this to move data in and out of SAP, just using this to read data that is coming from SAP.
From what I read, DATA Services comes with the SAP BusinessObjects Data Integrator or SAP BusinessObjects Data Quality Management solutions. Right now it's seems we dont have a need for the SAP Connection supplement, but definetly something we would implement in the near future. What would be the recommended architecture? A new Server with tomcat and cmc (seperate from our current BOBJ Enterprise servers)? or can DataServices be installed on the same?

Hope you are referring to BOE 3.1 (Business Objects Enterprise) and BODS (Business Objects Data Services) installation on the same server machine.
Am not an expert on BODS installation.
But this is my observation :
We had recently tested on a test machine BOE BOXI 3.1 SP3 (full build) installation before upgrade of our BOE system.
We also have BODS in our environment.
Which we also wanted to check whether we could keep on the same server.
So on this test machine, which already has BOXI 3.1 SP3 build, when i installed BODS server installation,
what we observed was that,
all the menus of BOE went away
and only menus of BODS were seen.
May be BODS installation overwrites/ or uninstalls BOE, if it already exists ?
I dont know. Though i could not fine any documentation, saying that we cannot have BODS and BOE on the same server machine. But this is what we observed.
So we have kept BODS and BOE on 2 different machines running independently and we do not see any problem.
