Installing extensions and little circles just keeps going round and round, Help?

When I try to install new extensions, the little circle just keeps on going and the extension doesn't install.
When I go to extensions through the window>Extensions, it says there are three but only two work, onOne Software, which is installed on my machine, is empty.
When advised to download the Adobe Support Adviser, I follow the link to the page, only to be told that Adobe doesn't support this anymore.
Why can't I install any of the extension that I want and where are the onOne Software extensions?

Please provide more details. Windows or Mac? Which version of Extension Manager (CS6, CC, 6.0.8, 7.2.1, ...)? Could you provide the download link of the extension if possible?

Mac Book Air is charged, the apple appears but the broken circle just keeps going and does not even take me to the sign in; any hints?

If you don't see any option, maybe your hard disk is damaged.
Close the OS X installer pressing the red button at the top left corner of the window, and open Disk Utility. Then, after opening Disk Utility, look at the left sidebar. What do you see at the top of the sidebar? Do you see the hard disk? If not, take the Mac to an Apple Store or reseller to get it repaired.
If you see the hard disk, select it and try to repair it. If it shows an error at the end, you will have to take the Mac to an Apple Store

  • I downloaded and tried 3 times but it won't install.  The circle just keeps going around and around.

And Adobe has yet to provide a number for tech support or a chat capability.  I just keep being redirected to tutorials that do not address this problem.

Joellewee you can contact our support team at http://adobe.ly/yxj0t6.
If you can provide additional details regarding the behavior you are experiencing and any specific error messages it would be appreciated.  Are you able to begin the download process within the Creative Cloud Desktop application?

can not charge ipad the circle just keeps going and going

First, try a system reset.  It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo.  Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears.  You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore.  Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset.  Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync.  From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab.  Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup.  You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod.  Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod.  As before, say "yes."  Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time.  If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device.  Corrective action is simple -  choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here.

  • HT203176 My computer gets bogged down in disk utility "gathering disk information." I can't get past this to reach the first aid tab. The little icon just keeps going round and round. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.

My Mac crashed today for the first time in the seven years I have owned it. I was working in Photoshop. It had been getting slower and slower in Photoshop. Now I can't start the computer at all. Using the Installer CD, I can't get through to use the Disk Utility to try to fix it. The computer gets bogged down in disk utility "gathering disk information." You may have had a hard drive failure. Have you been hearing any unusual sounds? Have you been getting messages about a full hard drive?
Will it boot in Safe Mode? See What is Safe Boot, Safe Mode? (Mac OS X)

  • What is that circle that keeps going around and around

What is that circle that keeps going around and around.  I keep getting it when I try to open my email.  It takes forever for it to go away

That  sounds like the spinning beach ball and indicates your computer is busy. This can be caused by many things, I'd recommend reading the XLabs article about it, you can find that at:

  • That little wheel just keeps going round

Recently my MacBook (syst. 10.6.8) has started freezing. Often it's when I'm using Firefox (version 30). I'm not sure though if the problem is Firefox or maybe the Finder, but that little rainbow wheel just keeps going round and I eventually have to reboot. I have run "Repair Permissions" from the start-up/install disk, but it still does it. I also trashed the finder prefs.
I am worried that I've "caught" something from the internet?
    Help please anyone. Thanks.

You could check the Activity Monitor (see Go in Finder, choose Utilities folder,
and double-click Activity Monitor) to see what may be hanging up and wasting
system resources. You may need to boot the computer from the Installer DVD
and from the menu options there (do not install anything) you can access a
few things; one of them is Disk Utility; you can check and also Repair the HDD.
There are some ideas, & things to check that may be helpful in resolving issues
in this site: Tech Guides - The Safe Mac http://www.thesafemac.com/tech-guides/
There may be something else going on in the computer, so if you have a good
backup of your content or a clone of the entire bootable system on a second
externally enclosed hard disk drive, (it can be 'cloned' back to the computer HD)
then you could do an erase and install, then restore from the clone-copy.
An overly full or problematic hard disk drive may also cause such symptoms.
Damaged files or bad sectors can be a sign of an old hard drive pending failure.
    Backup..!
PS: images do not appear to be working, or if they do appear, don't show to others.

  • Thinking circle just keeps going round and round

    Circle goes round and round

I think we'd need a bit more info about how you got your iPod into the current state. DId it just happen at random, after swtching on or after an update? Have you tried a hard reset?

  • When I go to the App Store, the "circle" just keeps going and I cannot get to the updates - or anything else.

This is a strange problem.  I want to update my applications.  But when I click on App Store, the page opens but that is as far as things go.  The rotating circles simply goes round and round but does not sign me in.  I can gat to my Apple account, but not to the App Store.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
The title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select
SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages
from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
              View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar at the top of the screen.
Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then take the action that isn't working the way you expect. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.
The log contains a vast amount of information, almost all of which is irrelevant to solving any particular problem. When posting a log extract, be selective. A few dozen lines are almost always more than enough.
Please don't indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Please don't post screenshots of log messages—post the text.

  • I keep getting the itunes update message and when I accept the terms and conditions it just keeps going back to tell me I have 3 updates itunes, safari and icloud and goes back to accept message without actually downloading?

What is going on with itunes update?  I keep getting the message that updates are available for itunes, safari and icloud, but when I accept the terms and conditions and the install 3 items message, it keeps going back to telling me there are 3 updates available and have to accept terms and conditions again without it ever installing!! I am using a PC with windows vista.  Have not had this problem till December when I got an ipad and had icloud installed, don't know if there is a connection.

I can't offer any help but it soulds like Apple goofed with the latest update. Many of us have the same problem. I may wait a week or so to see if Apple responds.

    thanks

Yes,ranchers, I did try that a bunch of times- thanks for trying.
I'm gonna list all the things I did (that I can can think of):
Tried to force close the app.
    Turned on/off wiFi
Tried letting it just run on the screen it's stuck at for like 15 minutes
Ugh...my brain is turning off-I think it's frozen like my Sims!    Cornball I know.
But I've tried everything I could think of which is a bunch more things than what I was able to list. And I'll do my best to answer any questions cause I know from looking all over on different forums that I'm not the only one this is happening to. It happened to a bunch of people who I think are still waiting for theirs to get fixed.
Can the cloud save me if I upload today?
