Installing WRTN300N as gateway

I'm having two wireless devices HALCYON make, installed into to deferent locations, one as access point and the 2nd as client, both are working fine but recently I came to know that the client mode only support 16 Ethernet connection at the same time
So I purchased WRT300N routers to install it between the Ethernets and the HALCYON (clients), so all users will go thru the routers and HALCYON can see only the internet port on the router.
Unfortunately if I connect the cable which is coming from the HALCYON to the internet port (WRT300N), I can't ping HALCYON
Please advice

You would have to run ipsinstall and install the new gateway. Make sure to follow the installation instruction for installing a gateway.
After you install the gateway you follow the steps in the link you posted to let the server know there is a new gateway.
Then make sure to restart the gateway and server.

I have installed an ECC system running on MSCS already but in order to use DB13 transaction properly I´m planning to install a Standalone Gateway in the database server. Apart of SAP note 657999 or installation guides there´s anything to pay special attention before doing this ?
    I highly appreciated your comments.

  • Installing a new gateway

In our current portal configuration we have the portal server running on one machine and the gateway on another. We want to move the gateway onto the same system as the portal server. So the easist way to do this seems to be to add a new gateway.
Here is a link to the documentation on how to add a gateway: http://docs.iplanet.com/docs/manuals/portal/30/ag/addgws.htm#1006059
If I follow this then will the portal server automtically install the new gateway? Or do I need to run the ipsinstall command and install a new gateway on the same machine as the portal server before I do what the above doc says?

    I have installed the following prerequisites:.Net Framework 3.5 SP1, KB969166 and KB969429.
I also update my Windows Installer to 4.5.

I appreciate you guys taking the time to respond, I just wonder if you read the details of my question?  I have specifically stated that the above hotfix
is installed along with the other prerequisite that the Install Guide mentions.  Furthermore I have not only checked the log but posted it for review.
I'm thinking the above advice is almost automated, it is the same as I found in numerous searches.  The problem I have here is I DID read the manual, have done what it says and still get this error.
This morning I reinstalled the hotfixes  and tried the install again.  Here is the log from today:
Please note the bolded line, it seems there is some registry value being checked but I don't know what so I can fix it.

  • Issue while installing sap netweaver gateway

    Hi Experts,
I am trying to install Netweaver Gateway  on SAP netweaver 7.3.
Once the *.SAR files are placed in EPS inbox folder of the server, we are unable to find these add-on packages in transaction: SAINT.
Tried to install this on Client 000 and 001
Kindly provide your inputs on this.

    Hi Komal,
Please try to extract .SAR file contents using SAPCAR.exe utility?
You can find the tool at D:\usr\sap\<SID>\DVEBMGS00\exe location, use -xvf option to extract content to EPS\in folder. Then load the extracted packages from Application server using SAINT again.

  • Install or upgrade Gateway 2.0 for Duet Enterprise FP1

    Hi,
We are checking the technical feasibility for upgrading to Duet Enterprise FP1 from Duet Enterprise 1.0 and followed the Guide from the learning maps for FP1 (Preparing the Environment for Duet Enterprise u2013 Feature Pack 1). However we are confused if we have to install Gateway 2.0 on the existing Duet NetWeaver  1.0 system or if there is an upgrade to Gateway available for existing Duet Enterprise 1.0 installations. Please clarify and validate the steps if you have completed the same successfully or are in expert in this area:
    1. Install/Upgrade Gateway 2.0 on Duet Enterprise system (require clarification here)
    2. Upgrade to IW_TNG 200 on the Duet Enterprise system
    3. Import XI content in ESR
    4. Complete set-up for FP1
Please clarify step 1 and comment on the sequence of the other steps.
    Regards,
    Avishek.

    Hi Avishek,
The upgrade from Duet Enterprise 1.0 to Duet Enterprise FP1 is supported.
Your Duet Enterprise 1.0 system would have SWCs like IW_FND 100, IW_CNT 100 (This is collectively called as Gateway 0.5)and IW_TNG 100. Now the system can be upgraded to Gateway 2.0 and then upgrade IW_TNG from 100 to 200.
You can get more details about the upgrade from the "Upgrade Guide" in Service Market Place. You can access it from service.sap.com/instguides -> SAP Business Suite Application -> Duet Enterprise -> Feature Pack1 of Duet Enterprise 1.0 -> Upgrade Guide.

  • Installing AIM Event Gateway

Hello everyone. I am trying to get the AIM gateway written by
Leon oosterwijk to work on my cold fusion server. I have read the
readme a million times, and no matter where I place the files, cold
    fusion always reports
    "Error creating gateway type.
Unable to find or load Gateway class
    com.oosterwijk.cfmx.Aimgateway"
I have the the JAR file (imgateways_v0.4.jar) in
    C:\CFusionMX7\gateway\lib\
I put the com and oosterwijk folders in
    C:\CFusionMX7\gateway\src\
I guess the main thing I'm having problems with is understand
where the coldfusion classpath starts. Like it asks for a path but
I do not know how absolute the path needs to be. I tried example
from the readme, but the guy who wrote this was using a java
install or something. Mine is just the basic regular install with
nothing special. Posted below is the relevant portion of the
    readme.

Here, I have a picture of my configs also. I had this thing
working at one time so I know it can be done. Also I checked all
permissions on relevant folders, and they seem good. On that note,
what context does CF run under? Anywho, here is the pic.

AXG runs as reverse proxy mode, similar to generic server, there is no more concern about deployment, just treat it as reverse proxy server, it will be fine.

  • New vCloud Suite Purchase and Install - No Edge Gateway?

vCloud Suite 6 no longer comes with vCNS, but does allow upgrading customers to bring their existing vCNS product forward. So what does a new customer do when installing an Edge cluster to secure things without vCNS? Is it pretty much mandatory to purchase either NSX or some other 3rd party virtual network and security product?

I've found the solution on another thread and it goes like this:
    1) install the most recent Nokia Software Updater
    2) install the most recent Nokia PC Suite
    3) uninstall Nokia Connectivity Cable Driver from Add or Remove programs in Control Panel
    4) install the older Nokia Connectivity Cable Driver (6_85_10)
Restart your PC if asked to do so.
Here is the rapidshare link for the Nokia Connectivity Cable Driver (6_85_10) if you have trouble finding it.

  • Trying to install windows 7 Gateway MD2614U

Trying to install windows 7 on my gatway MD2614u but can't locate the proper sata drivers so that the installlation of windows recognizes the hard drive.  I tried several drivers with no luck.  Windows 7 does not automatically load the proper drivers to recognize the hard drive.  Does anyone have a link to the proper drivers? Thanks so much

Since you can switch from IDE to SATA AHCI once the OS is installed, i would suggest you to try to install using IDE then look around for the correct AHCI driver (normally AMD/ATI has all in one packages). to switch from IDE to AHCI, you need to modify a string using the registry editor after installing the correct drivers.then boot to BIOS switch to AHCI, save and exit, if all is correct it will boot normally on AHCI, if not a BSOD will appear; but don't worry, you can boot to BIOS and rever to IDE, boot to OS and retry.  http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=313676

  • Can RD for Administration be used to install RD Gateway?

    Hello,
Have a Server 2008 R2 virtual machine running in a web hosting environment. The company has enabled Remote Desktop Administration and we have been using RD Connection to access the virtual server without any problem. However, due to firewall considerations
we would like to use RD Gateway with port 443 instead of the standard RD port 3389.
Perhaps this may be obvious, but if on a RD admin connection, is it possible to successfully install RD Gateway? For example, when you hit "Install" for the Gateway, will it automatically drop the existing RD admin connection?
The main concern right now is the we don't end up somehow locking ourselves out of RD altogether if the Gateway has install or config problems. Any insights are greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!

    Robert,
Thanks for the reply. Went ahead with the install accepting the defaults. Got the following result:
    "Installation succeeded with errors.
    Remote Desktop Services
Error: The Internet Information Services (IIS) settings that are required for RD Gateway to function correctly could not be configured. To resolve this issue, open Remote Desktop Gateway Manager. When you open Remote Desktop Gateway Manager, it
verifies whether the IIS settings are correctly configured, and if the settings are not correctly configured, it configures the settings automatically.
The following role services were installed:
       Remote Desktop Gateway"
Opened RD Gateway Manager, but didn't see any servers. Tried to manually connect but received:
"Unable to read RD Gateway Server Settings"
Not sure what to do next. Perhaps, this type of configuration with a pre-existing install of IIS is not supported.

Now, we are moving the production content to a new server. For the integration kit to communicate with the SAP system, I need to install the SAP Gateway service on the BO server.
Can anyone point out where and how can i find the installables for the SAP Gateway?
Can I use the files from the old server and re-register on the new server?
    Thanks for all your help.
    -Purav.

    Thanks Ingo....
We have a SAP implementation as well, so can I download it from the service marketplace? If possible can you guide me to the exact name or location of the download? I am completely on the BO side, so not much familiar with the SAP stuff.
    Thanks,
    -Purav.
