Intall WLS on OpenVMS 7.21 +JDK 1.1.8-5,Who can help me?

I install WLS on:
a,O.S.:Digtial OpenVMS 7.21
b,DB: Oracle 7.13
c,JDK:1.1.8-5 from Compaq
I download the product from BEA website,and use JAR command in JDK to unzip
the file named Weblogic451.zip.I find the more than 100 errors in the
process.
The O.S. can support more than 32 bits filename, but the length of the files
in the weblogic451.zip file greater 32 bits .
I try to use the FTP software to upload the file I unzip from Windows Intel
X86,but I can not over it.
Can help me?

Try to run Eclipse with the classic JVM (not HotSpot) and check if this error still occurs.

    After applying SP9, we are getting this exact message also. I see nothing
    relevant in the "release" notes. It is interesting that you can start the
    server up using the startWebLogic.cmd script. It is the wlserver.exe
    program that is choking.

  • JDK 1.6 - XML, Xerces and DOMParser - Help?

    Please bear with me while I try to explain this thoroughly....
    I perviously wrote a JSP page using the following:
    Tomcat 5.5.x
    JDK 1.5x
    imports: org.w3c.dom.*,
    org.apache.xerces.parsers.*,
    org.xml.sax.*
    I have since upgraded to:
    Tomcat 6.0.x
    JDK 1.6x
    My JSP will no longer compile as the Xerces.jar file is not in my path.
    The specific error is:
    org.apache.jasper.JasperException: javax.servlet.ServletException: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/apache/xerces/parsers/DOMParser
    My use of the DOM (with xerces) is like this:
    org.w3c.dom.Document xmlparams=null;
    DOMParser parser=new DOMParser();
    InputSource is=new InputSource(new StringReader("myParameters.xml"));
    parser.parse(is);
    xmlparams=parser.getDocument();Then:
    Node fpref=xmlparams.getElementsByTagName("FormatPreference").item(0).getFirstChild();etc., etc.
    If I no longer want to use Xerces, what standard distribution libraries can I use instead ?
    Can you provide/link to a few examples?
    Or should I just distribute xerces.jar with my app?
    I'm hoping I don't have to rewrite my code for a different xml parser....
    Edited by: whoit on Jul 21, 2008 12:22 PM

    Never mind - I found the answer.
    I can eliminate xerces.jar by replacing the following code:
    import org.apache.xerces.parsers.*;
    org.w3c.dom.Document xmlDoc;
    DOMParser parser=new DOMParser();
    parser.parse(new File(xFileName));
    xmlDoc=parser.getDocument();with this:
    import javax.xml.parsers.*;
    org.w3c.dom.Document xmlDoc;
    DocumentBuilder parser= DocumentBuilderFactory.newInstance().newDocumentBuilder();
    xmlDoc=parser.parse(new File(xFileName));

    Installing the Java JDK does not create anything "to click on". You type commands into Windows' cmd window. Read this tutorial. Begin with "Getting Started" and don't skip anything.

    Arizona mortgage rates can vary between lenders and often can change multiple times each day. Typically, Arizona mortgage rates for people with excellent credit are going to be very close to what the national averages are for mortgage quotes.
    This is why we post here the national averages of what consumers are being quoted (in real time) so you can see what you can reasonably expect when shopping for a mortgage anywhere in Arizona.

So I clicked exit button. Now I want reinstall JDK 1.5. The installer tells me that the software is already installed and asks me to uninstall. I go to control panel > Add or remove programs. JDK 1.5 is not there. I deleted new created jdk 1.5 directory, the installer still asks me to uninstall first. I checked jdk 1.5 directories, there is no uninstall program.
    How to remove jdk 1.5 and reinstall?
    Any information would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Are you comfortable with editing the Registry? If so, navigate to the key\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\JavaSoft\Java Development KitThere should be an entry labelled "CurrentVersion" with the value "1.5". Delete that, or change it to "1.4" if you have that version installed. Underneath that key, there should be two keys labelled "1.5" and "1.5.0" - delete both of them.
    I'm not positive that those Registry entries are what's stopping you from re-installing, but if the original installation failed, they shouldn't be there anyway.

  • Where can I download JDK 1.5 or later that can work in Mac OS X 10.5?

    please help me with this one, I am trying to use BlaseDS and I am having problems finding JDK that can be installed on Mac 1.5

    Apple proved their own JDK. You will need to wait until Apple update it. I'm a also a Mac user and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for it to come with Snow Leopard (1.6).
    Apple being Apple haven't given out any news (as far as I know), the latest they have released is Java 1.5 (with some updates I expect).
    Sorry, but we all have to wait :(

  • My pull down menu above the green "back" button disappeared recenly after I intalled an update. How to I get it back so I can print since right clicking does not give me a print option?

    I used to have a tool bar at the top of the screen that had file, print, help, etc. After I recently installed something ( I can't remember what), the tool bar no longer appears. Help I need it back! I need to print screens and right clicking does not allow for a print option and my print screen button on my computer does not get me anywhere either. Please describe any help in simple terms - I'm just an average computer user! Thanks.

    In Firefox 3.6 and later on Windows you can hide the "Menu Bar" via "View > Toolbars" or via the right-click context menu on a toolbar.
    Press F10 or press and hold the Alt key down to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily.
    Go to "View > Toolbars" or right-click the "Menu Bar" or press Alt+V T to select which toolbars to show or hide (click on an entry to toggle the state).

    Hi Steven,
    as far as I know there is no Apache Plugin for Windows Platform. Your
    choice is either Unix->Apache or Windows->IIS. I think there is a
    Netscape Plugin as well, but I don't know for which platforms.
