Hi,
Need to integrate apache_1.3.24 & Oracle 9iAS which are running in different hosts.
I feel, to integrate I need to do more than just adding the proxy entries.
Any help appreciated to sort this issue.

What kind of integration do you need? If you want to mirror a 9iAS URL on the Apache you can use the ProxyPass directive, eg (please check the documentation):
ProxyPass /local/url/ http://remote/url/

Unable to Connect to 2 Tracks which are in 2 different NWDI Servers

Hi All,
I need to connect to 2 tracks which are in 2 different NWDI Servers using the same NWDS instance.
Track 1 is based on NW 7.0 SP21 and another one is based on SAP NW 7.0 Ehp1 version which are in different NWDI servers.
The problem i am facing is that using the same NWDS, I am unable to connect to the second NWDI server when i already imported the track from the first one.
I have done the following.
Imported the Track for NW 7.0 SP21
I have entered the DTR URL, under Development Configuration pool and then created a DTR Client and imported the track as required into NWDS.
When i want to import the track for Ehp1, i have changed the SLD URL to point to the Ehp1 SLD under Dev. Configuration pool.
I have created a client with the Ehp1 DTR URL, and when i try to import the development configurations and click on Remote,
I am always authenticated against the Build Server of the existing Configuration (ie) NW 7.0 SP21 and i am unable to import the track from the new NWDI Server.
When i completely removed all configurations and try a fresh Connection to Ehp1 first i am able to connect to the track and import.
From there when i try to import NW 7.0 SP21 by changing the Development Configuration Pool URL and by creating a new Client, I used to authenticated against Ehp1 build server instead of SP21 build server. So i am unable to import and work with 2 tracks which are different NWDI servers in a single instance of NWDS.
Please let me know how i can go ahead to get the tracks which are in different NWDI servers to be available in a single NWDS instance. Is it possible by the way?

Hi Sekar,
My suggested work around (my personal preference) would be to install the NWDS versions on separate machines to avoid all the troubles and confusion with the default .DTR/.DTC/.metadata folders as mentioned by Pascal in this thread

IMHO, a different machine also allows you to experiment more freely with another version of browser/client platforms (e.g. IE8/Windows 7/etc.).
In our case, we installed the newer version on developers' machines (oftenly used going forward) and install the older version on another shared machine (used for maintenance only until the cutoff).
Maybe other gurus (who often have to work on several different versions for different customers) can provide us with some tips here.

I only want itunes to hold the lossless files which are in two different folders. How do I do that?

I want itunes (version 11) to have in it's library only the MS Lossless format and the ALAC lossless format which are in two different folders. How do I achieve this?

Delete the files you don't want, or cut & paste them to an alternate location if you want to archive them.
What MS Lossless format? .wav?
iTunes doesn't have any custom organization features, but you can change the location of the media folder and then selectively consolidate content to the new folder. This creates copies so you have to manually delete the originals. Alternatively I have a script called ConsolidateByMoving which does what it suggests. Thiis could be used to split the media into parallel subfolders within your existing media folder if you disable iTunes "Keep iTunes Media folder organized" option.

I have a file to file scenario in that the xi system should pick up 5 files which are in 5 different directories in a single point of execution.
What are the things I can do to solve the issue.

@karthik, Sandeep: We cant use Additional Files in the Sender File Adapter in this requirement as to pick the additional file all the files should be in the Source Directory.
Following are the prequisite for using this feature (http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwpi71/helpdata/en/44/692ab8a4b633eae10000000a1553f6/frameset.htm) :
Prerequisites
●     You have set the Additional File(s) indicator in the sender file adapter.
●     The additional files must be in the Source Directory.
●     The way that the files to be transported are grouped together is defined by the file names. All file names must be identical except for a defined part (such as the suffix).
●     You will find additional files as an attachment in the message under the name assigned in the file list.

How to add timeout for threads which are running using ThreadPoolExecutor

I am trying change my existing functionality with ThreadPoolExecutor. I was unable to achieve fully.
Here is my issue.
I was creating multiple threads for independent DB update operations. And was calling join with time value on the each thread, for any reason if the db update hangs so that thread should die.
Now am trying use a nice ThreadPoolExecutor so that it can run and queue the threads nicely. But how do I create the timeout values for the threads which are in the ThreadPool. For any reason if the thread hangs then timeout will take care of killing the thread. When we use execute method submit the runnable task its not guaranteed that thread will run immediately. So when the executor will execute the submitted task is not know.
Probably I might be wrong some where.

How to access the e-mails which are stored in different folders via Mac

Hi guys, I am new to Mac. My problem is about the setting of Mac Mail.
There are 8 folders with my hotmail account in order to automatically sort e-mail into folders. I only can get the e-mails of inbox folder via Mac Mail software. I am wondering how to access the other e-mails which are stored in other folders.

I don't think that things have changed going from 10.5 Mail to 10.6 Mail in this regard (I need to log on to my laptop more often). So, assuming that my premise is correct, in the left hand column of the mail window, underneath your inbox, drafts, sent, trash, and junk mailboxes, there should be the descriptive name of your mail account, written in gray capital letters, with a gray triangle to the left of that name. If the gray triangle is pointing to the right, click on it so that it points downward. That will expand the account view of mailboxes on the server. You should be able to see all of the other folders.

Intermittently my SSIS Packages which are run through the JOB are failing

I am facing a very strange problem.
We have 2 Physical Servers (A and B) on which we have installed the SQL Server, one primary (A) and other as secondary (B). And there is a cluster (C) available to acces the running server. I have created some SSIS packages which we installed on the Server A (Primary), and created the job on the cluster server which initiates the SSIS packages, whcih are installed in the File System.
The problem i am facing is the some thing related to Connection time out. And interestingly i am not getting this error Always. Approxiamtely For Every 5 Times once it;s Failing. I am copying the errors Which i encountered in the different runs.
The thing i am confused is why i am not geting the error all the time? And Why am i getting this error all the time in a different data flow task. My SSIS Package structure is I have created one master package and 6 Child packages. I am getting the connection string for the Data base from the Configuration file which is defined in the XML File.
The connection string that i am using is

I thought i found the solution my self... I changed the delay validation to all the packages to true and the problem dissappeared

Client comparision which are in two different systems

here there is a different issue this time ....
we have two different clients (100 & 800) in two different ecc servers. in both of these servers in 100 of system-1 and 800 of system-2 ,,, implementation is done.
so now the problem is we have to compare 100 with 800 and what is missing in 100 has to be copied or what ever it may be has to be brought in to system 1 ( client 100)
i mean earlier what we were doing in 100 & 800 differently , now should me done in one single server.
how can i proceed , plz give me step by step procedure or give me some links.

Perhaps, on the EJB's Entity tabs, in the Deployment settings dialog, you could make sure each bean references a different DB (Change the JNDI name, under Database settings).
However, I don't know this for sure - you may have to use bean-managed persistence.

I have 2 physical machine running Windows 7 OS.
On Host1, I have 2 VM's running Windows 2008 Server & XP. I have joined XP to Windows 2008 Server. If I try to join the VM machine running on Host2 to windows server machine running on Host1, I get the DNS error. However I'm able to ping all the vm machines in any direction. Is it possible to join this VM3 to windows server??

I would suggest you to readjust the wireless settings on your Router....
On the Linksys Setup Page,reduce the MTU size to 1400 and click on Save Settings.Click on wireless tab.... Here select manual configuration...Wireless Network mode should be mixed...Set the Radio Band to Standard-20MHz and change the Standard channel to 11-2.462GHz...Wireless SSID broadcast should be Enabled and then click on Save Settings...
Click on Advanced Wireless Settings....Change the Beacon Interval to 75,Change the Fragmentation Threshold to 2304, Change the RTS Threshold to 2304,Click on "Save Settings"...
