i am developing wp8 app .In my app a content from web page is streamed with htmldocument class.but i want to stream other thing from webpage.The problem is i need to click combo box and click one of the options then the content i fetch from web site is changed
.In combo box there are cities and when i click one of them the information in web page changes.but the link doesnt change for the website the change happens in web page

Using FILE to interact with the CI from an App server

Hi All.
We have a custom code function where a user takes a text file and uploads it into the SAP system. The file is immediately processed and a new 'outbound' file is created. Currently, we have the dirctory structure set-up on out CI/DB server. Our users access the system from one of 2 application servers.
The issue we have is that due to the definition in FILE, when the users execute the report, it errors out. This is becasue when they execute, SAP looks to the local server - the app servers - for the directory. As stated, this directory lives on the CI. Does anyone know how to adjust the functionality of FILE so that I can point the program to execute on the CI and not the app server? Thanks!

We have a similar scenario like you but dont face this issue. 2 things are imüportant here:
1. The directory residing on CI should be accessible from the other application server i.e the mount should be correct.
2. The logical file path name in FILE should be correct. This is very important.
Believe me we have a more complex arrangement where 5 SAP s are involved and the directory resides on only one of them
Also FILE cannot dicate on which system the program is executed.It purely depends on the app server where the user is logged in.

I'm writing a Windows Phone 8.1 application. How would I programmatically interact with web pages- for example, search something on Google?
The main problem seems to be, I can't access the underlying HTML document of the WebView control.
What I have tried so far:
using HtmlAgilityPack (only supports parsing, can't interact)
trying to get underlying document w/ reflection (limited WinRT reflection APIs)
looking into other cross-platform GUI toolkits, such as Qt# (also do not provide access to document object)

You should be able to know how to invoke script into the pages and also how to get the return value. By the way, not quite understand what do you mean by underlying HTML document, means the HTML code?

Copying page from one app to another: Different themes

All the threads on this forum for steps to copy a page from one app to another refer to Raj's instructions at Synonyms
What if the 2 apps involved have different themes? When I do the final step (f) in his procedure, that page will have Theme X and the rest of the pages will have Theme Y. How is this handled?
Will the new page just use the templates it needs from whatever theme the app it is imported into happens to be using? Or would it bring along the templates it uses from the old application?

Raj's technique predates themes and has no connection with themes. A page has one numeric attribute that references a page template or is null.
Raj's technique never handled the case where the referenced page template didn't exist in the target application.
It's your job (see the caveat in that threat) to ensure that you don't reference non-existent shared components from the page being copied.
What if you do anyway? That isn't part of the solution that was presented but the answer is you have to repair the damage.
What you are saying, in effect, is that that technique for copying pages across apps really works best only if the 2 apps involved have the same theme, right?There are at least four cases: 1) the page template attribute is null so it will use the app's default page template which I believe is adjusted when you switch themes; 2) the page template attribute is not null and locates an existing page template which is a template in the current theme. In this case everything should work correctly; 3) the page template attribute is not null and locates an existing page template which is not a template in the current theme. In this case the referenced page template will be used at runtime, but the theme reports and/or switch theme functionality may not work as expected with respect to that page; 4) the page template attribute does not locate an existing template. I don't know what the result is in this case.
I also don't know if the template a page uses is considered to be part of a given theme based on the template's name or numeric ID.

1. You did not get an error message telling you that your iPhoto library was getting full. You got a message telling you that your HD was getting full, right?
OS X needs about 10 gigs of hard drive space for normal OS operations - things like virtual memory, temporary files and so on.
Without this space your Mac will slow down as the OS hunts for space on the disk, files will be fragmented, also slowing things down, apps will crash and the risk of data corruption - that is damage to your files, photos, music - increases exponentially.
Your first priority is to make more space on that HD. Nothing else can be done until you do.
Purchase an external HD and move your Photos and Music to it. Both iPhoto and iTunes can run perfectly well with the Library on an external disk.
Your Library has been damaged from being run on an overfull disk.
How much free space on it now?

I can't download Pages from Mac App Store

I have been having some trouble in dowloading Page from Mac App Store.
I had dowloaded and used before, but recently I reinstalled the Mac OS.
When the download reachs amost 10MB, it restarts a few times and gives me the message: "Pages failed to download. Use the Purchases page to try again."
I tried both two following methods:
1 - open $TMPDIR/../C* and deleted com.apple.appstore
2 - Quit App Store.
Open Terminal.
Execute this: defaults write com.apple.appstore ShowDebugMenu -bool true
Launch App Store.
At the Menu bar, there should be a "Debug".
Click on that and press "Reset Application"
Restart App Store.
But none of them worked for me.
Can anyone help me?

Please test after taking each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. Stop when the problem is resolved. Back up all data before making any changes.
Step 1
Rebuild the Spotlight index. If you try to search now from the magnifying-glass icon in the top right corner of the display, there will be an indication that indexing is in progress.
Step 2
Unlock the Network preference pane, if necessary, by clicking the lock icon in the lower left corner and entering your password. Cllck Advanced, open the DNS tab, and change the server addresses to the following:
8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4
That's Google DNS. Click OK, then Apply.

This means that at some time you had the iWork ’09 trial installed. You need to delete the trial & then reinstall from the boxed DVD or the Mac App Store. The files to delete are the iWork ’09 folder from the main HD > Applications; the iWork ’09 folder in HD > Library > Application Support & the individual iWork application plist files found in HD > Users > (your account) > Library > Preferences for each user. Yvan Koenig has written an AppleScript that removes the files. You can find it on his box.com account in for_iWork'09 > other_iWork'09 items > uninstall iWork '09.zip.

Interaction with Content behind Transparent Flex App

Hi,
I have a Flex application with wmode=transparent and a transparent section that allows whatever is underneath it on the HTML page to show through. In this case, what's showing through is another Flash application. This works fine, but I can't interact with the Flash application showing through.
I tried setting the z-index of the Flash app to something greater than my Flex app, and that worked, but unfortunately that solution doesn't work for my case because the Flex application has components that occasionally overlay in that area, and setting the z-index of the Flash app to be higher means those components are always stuck behind it. Also unfortunately I don't control the loading of that Flash app, so I can't load/embed it into my app to get around this problem.
Are there any other ways to do this?

UPDATE:
So, I spent an entire work-day on trying to get this to
work.... I finally ended up hacking the flex html filter library to
display the formatted text as best as I could. It basically created
a bunch of "<textformat>" tags. There were still a few
layout/indentation issues. So, I tested it, and deployed to our
test website, and got approval from one of the managers. Then, I
come in this morning, and the all my work is gone. "Did I deploy
the files to right server? I know I tested it last night....", I
asked myself. The dates on the files were from last night. Odd. So
I ask my supervisor if I was looking at the correct website for the
server where I deployed the files.... "Oh yeah", he said, "I had to
roll that back, because [the manager who gave me the content]
didn't like how it looked." Nevermind that the files included other
changes as well (it was a nightly build, the source control for the
source files are done through a different source control program on
a different server), so now the whole thing looks screwed up.
Oh well.... I really need a blog to complain about this....

I am wanting to purchase the Pages app from the App Store. I do not want to purchase it 2 times, once for me, and again for my wife. We both share the same iMac, and we both use seperate Apple ID's. Is there a way to purchase it under my user, and have it download to her user as well? I have searched all over the forums for a cut and dry answer to this, to no avail. Any help in the matter would be appreciated, as I am a newbie on the Mac.

Interacting with Web pages

We have developed a J2EE application (jsp, struts, ejbs, etc.) and now have a requirement to interact with hardware at the client's site. The application needs to interact with printers, check readers and DL readers. Can a JWS application interact with the web pages?
For example, when a check is scanned, can the information be displayed on the web page? Additionally, we need to be able to print on both sides of the check. If I tell the application to print, can it respond back to the web application when it is done so the check can be flipped over and printed on the other side?

Java WebStart is "just" a deployment mechanism. An application deployed through JWS can do anything a regular Java application can do (provided it has the appriopriate permissions). This includes talking to whatever kind of server you can think of.
If staying within the sandbox is an issue for your app, you should take a look at the JNLP API, which allows you to do some "safe" things (like printing) on the user's system through interaction with the user. The advantage of staying within the sandbox is not having to sign your app and not having to ask the user for elevated permissions.

Printing blank pages from some apps

My HP Officejet 6500 will print from some apps, such as MSWord, TextEdit and Safari, and not from others, such as Firefox and MSExcel. the printer did work fine for several weeks before the problem began.
I talked to HP and reinstalled the driver. HP insists that it is not their problem since some things print and that st must be an Apple software problem.
Anyone have any suggestions?
(I am currently running 10.5.8, though problem started in earlier version of 10.5)

Problem solved. Turns out that have to go to the "Page set-up" dialogue box and select the particular printer. Most printers are fine with "Any Printer," but this HP OfficeJet 6500 seems to be particular.

Anybody got working <error-page> in <web-app>?
As I can see, oc4j (1.0.2.2.1) forgots about contentType and sets application/jsp mime type for error page...

Did you ever figure this out... it's still happening with Oracle9iAS (9.0.2.0.0) ... and the error page tries to download.
If you had any luck with it, please let me know.
