Interest on Customer in a separate account

Hi,
I have configured the required settings for calculation of the interest on the customers line item balance. The interest amount is getting posted to the Customer account. The requirement is, this interest should not be posted to the concerned customer, but to a separate Interest receivable account. Can this be achieved?

1. Create GL accounts for interest.
2. Go to T code OBV1 and enter your chart of accounts under Accounts Tab and specify the GL Accounts where interest should be posted.

I am handling the inter-company loan through interest rate instruments.
The situationis like this -
Copany A and B are interelated and Company A give loan to Company B. Both these companies are also regular customer and vendor in each others company code.
The requiremen is
1. To post as under -
Company A
Dr. Company B (separate recon - loan give account)
Cr. Bank
Company B
Dr. Bank
Cr. Vendor Account A (separate recon for lan taken account)
2. Also the BP is to be linked to the regular customer / vendor account
Please advise if these two are possible. If yes, how.

Thanks for the response yet again. The required entries were generated.
However I have the following issue
A - I was first getiing the error when I first tried to generate the entries -
Message no. F5788
Diagnosis
The system checked the entry to see whether a reconciliation account exists with the number XXXXXXX and whether it can be entered here, or whether the first two characters of your entry '00' form a permitted short key. Neither of these options is applicable to your entry.
TO SOLVETHIS I ASSIGNED ALTERNATIVE ACCOUNT AT -
'Sales and Distribution -> Basic functions -> Account assignment/costing -> Reconciliation account determination -> Define alternative reconciliation accounts'.
I not really undersand the need of this assignment in SD (I will also consult my SD person here here)
B. I was able to create BP from customer/vendor and customer/vendor from BP.
However when trying to link the costomer/vendor to BP the system throws the following error ( I am using transactions FLBPD2/FLBPC2)
Business partner 172 cannot be assigned to a customer
Message no. CVIC_UI022
Diagnosis
The business partner cannot be linked to the customer selected. System Response It is not possible to assign a customer to the business partner. This can be due to the following reasons:
The business partner has been created in a grouping that is not relevant for update in the customer.
The customer has been created as a consumer.
The customer is part of a sales center.
Procedure Change the Customizing for updating the relevant grouping in the IMG activity Define Number Assignment for Direction BP to Customer or change the account group for the customer accordingly.
I have checked the config and not able to underdstand the issue here (particularly because the automatic creation is happening). As I will be using the existing customer/vendor this linking will be required. Please share your view and guide me sort this.

Post interest on arrears to the branch account

Hi,
I have assigned customer code A001 in the head office field in customer master data for A001B1. When I run F.2B for interest on arrears, only 1 document is posted for the interest for both head office and branch account.
However, the interest for branch and head office should be posted separately to the respective account. How can this be done?
Please advice.

First create an Interest Indicator. ·     OB46 - Interest Settlement Calculation Type Int Calc. Type
P - calculate interest based on line items.
S - calculate interest based on account balances.
Second, make it available to the interest run program.
·     OB82 - Interest Terms
Third, determine the interest rate that will be used by the calculation.
·     OBAC - Define Reference Interest Rates
·     OB83 - Enter the Reference Interest Rates Value
Fourth, assign the interest indicator to the reference interest rate.
·     OB81 - Define Time Dependent Terms
Finally, determine the how and to which accounts the interest program will post.
·     OBV1 - Prepare Interest on Arrears Calculation

Separate Account for Verizon Store?

Must I set up a separate account to use the Verizon store to buy ringtones?
Even when I'm signed in for my account, it repeatedly asks for my number and password without approving them.

Can I use home sharing on separate accounts on same computer?

We have iPods (one 3G and one 4G) and separate accounts on our Mac and on iTunes but would like to share some but not all of the same things through home sharing. Is this possible? I haven't found a way to do it. The information I found available only says for different computers. Am I not looking in the right place? I would appreciate it if anyone can tell me how to do this or where to find that information. Thank you.

You'd need both computers to be connecting to the same wifi network in order to Home Share.

Good question, but I'm 99.9% certain the answer is "no". Here are some considerations:
Think of the heritage of iOS. It really started with iPhones and maybe iPods. These devices cost a whole lot less than a Mac. They are generally not thought of as shared (with exceptions, of course, as is true for you).
Think of the backup process. i-devices typically sync with one iTunes on one computer. How would an i-device with multiple users enstantiate this?
Anyway, all this is to say I'm convinced you cannot do what you're inquiring about.

How do we access iTune purchases on a shared computer? Only one account is seen although each can log into our separate accounts.

If two people have separate libraries on the same computer, it is best to put them into two separate Windows User accounts.
Go to Start > Control Panel > User Accounts > Add User Accounts, and get her set up in a separate user account. Then move all her stuff there and from then on the two of you can operate independently on the same computer.

Using More than One iDevice on the Same Computer
This applies mainly to couples who are adding another device and do not want their email, messages, etc. being duplicated on both devices. To begin read: How to use multiple iPhone, iPad, or iPod devices with one computer. You need to establish a separate Apple ID and password for whomever will use the new iDevice. See Apple - My Apple ID and Frequently asked questions about Apple ID. The easiest way is to do this on the computer using iTunes: iTunes- How to set up an Apple ID within iTunes.
On the computer create a new user account for the person with the new iDevice. This will be the user account that person will always use. He/She will no longer use the other user account. This way that person will have a separate iTunes Library
Start by transferring the new device(s) to a new account along with all your data. Save any photo stream photos that you want to keep to your camera roll (unless they are already in the camera roll) by opening your Photos app, tap on Albums icon at the bottom. Now, tap on My Photo Stream album; tap Select; tap on the photos you want to select;, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow) in the lower left corner; then tap Save to Camera Roll.
If you are syncing notes with iCloud that you want to keep then you need to open each of your notes and email them to yourself. Later you can copy and paste the text into new notes created in your new account.
Tap on Settings > iCloud > Delete Account (only deletes it from this device, not from iCloud; the person keeping the current account will not be affected,) provide the password to turn off Find My Phone and choose Keep on My iDevice when prompted. Sign in with a different Apple ID to create your new account. Choose Merge to upload your data.
Once you are on separate accounts, you can each go to icloud.com and delete the other person's data from your account.

When I use migration assistant it won't let me use my account name that I'm signed in with. It requires me to select a different user name and then creates a separate account where my files live. Why can't I select the user name and account name I have?

When I use the migration assistant it connects to my PC fine but it won't let me use the account name and username that I have created as the admin. Migration Assistant creates a new account and migrates all the information you have requested to that new account. There is no way around that. However once migrated you can move the data to the account you want to. Here are some instructions for doing so:

Does iTunes backup each piece of equipment into a separate account? When I retrieve backup for my iPod I get the backup for my iPhone.

how dead is your computer?
Did the system drive survive? You could get try to remove the drive from the mac and have it put into an enclosue, so you can use it as an external drive.
But if the system drive is dead as well, I do not see a way to read the data on your dead computer.

Apple tell me I need to open separate accounts, complete with address and tel. Yesterday they told me I could do that with an itunes prepaid card but on the Aust itunes store the card was considered invalid (obviously because it is in Euro) Any suggestions? To be able to download content from another country's store you need a valid billing address in that country, and be in that country when buying from it.
Apple can only sell content where the content provider's grant them licenses to do so, so if the music etc that you want to buy isn't available in the Italian store then it's because the provider's aren't letting Apple sell it there. Do you have access to other music purchase download sites which have the content that you want ?

In Define Time based terms i have selected my int indicatore and i want to assign sequence key 01 & 02. Here what i am suppose to select. Because interest will be credit to company and debit should be customer. And also In interest posting what should i select either AR-calculation on Interes on Arears or AR-Balance interest calculation? Can any one guide me on this.

As per my knowledge If you are going calculate int on customer you have to select 01 or create your own(item int indicator).
And second one for posting you have to select A/R: Calculation of Interest on Arrears.
