Intermittent problem- send or comment buttons will not work- Reboot only sometimes fixes- does not happen in IE
Recently I have found that when in FB- the 'send' or 'comment' buttons do NOT work. I have also just found that the X along side a post - to get the dropdown to hide, etc- does not work either.
I have logged of and back on. I have closed firefox and restarted. I have cleared cache, cookies, etc. and then restarted firefox. Nothing works. It seems like this happened a few times and when I came back to the computer after several hours, it was ok. Most of the time I have to reboot.
While this is happening, some other functions work fine. For instance, if I click on HOME or PROFILE it works. Only seems to be the 'buttons'.
What's making me really crazy is that it is intermittent! And when it happens, if I open IE (ugh) it works fine.
Only fixes found at FB are to clear cache, cookies, etc. which I have already stated do nothing at all. Any ideas?

There is a problem with iMessage with what Apple says is a small number of iPhones and they are working on a fix. In the meantime try this:
1. Settings > Messages > iMessage = Off
2. Settings > FaceTime > FaceTime = Off
3. Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
4. Wait for the iPhone to Reboot
5. Settings > FaceTime > FaceTime = On
6. Settings > Messages > iMessage = On
You may have to repeat the steps a couple of times.

I receive messages on my iPad, but I cannot send a reply. The send button will not respond to my touch.
It's not that you can't use the subject field, but it is very unreliable when I try to use it. Sometimes the message send button will work and sometimes it won't.
But the biggest reason to turn it off is so that you do not accidentally type your message in the subject field. You can type a subject in that field, but you still have to type the actual message in the space below the subject field. -
after i have downloaded an album from iCloud to my new macbook pro. Itunes will only play one song at a time. If i hit the fast forward or back button will not do anything. I have to use the mouse to hit the next tidal in the album then hit play for it to play the next song. Or put it in the UP NEXT.
First, make sure these items have checkmarks next to their names in iTunes. Continuous playback only works on checked items. Itunes will play all checked items in a list whether or not they're from the same album.
If you see that nothing in your library is checked and you want to check everything, hold down Ctrl while checking an item. This checks everything.
Next, fixing the "1 of 1" problem is easily. Select all the tracks that make up the book/album. Let's say there are 15. Press Ctrl-I. Doublecheck that the album box is filled in with the name of the book, and if not, type it there. Enter "15" in the box for the total number of tracks. Click OK. Now all the items should be "1 of 15," "2 of 15," and so on. -

My iPod classic (2007) 80 GB FROZEN SCREEN (Now Playing window showing the song that is suppose to be playing, will not respond to buttons, Will not SYNC, iTunes does not recognize it AT ALL when I plug it in. hold the 'menu' and the 'circle' buttons down at the same time, KEEP the pressed until the apple appears. and now it is working. Hope this helps others. -
Hello, my father recently passed (using his ID) and I took over the payments on his mac and took his computer. I am not that familiar with mac, but am usually computer savy. However, this one has me stumped. I have no problem starting the built in cam and it seems to work fine with all other programs I've tried using it with. However, it will not work with yahoo. Whether I use normal yahoo messenger or if I try using Yahoo through I chat. The cam button will not light up, therefore, it is not clickable. Which ultimately means I cannot use my cam on yahoo, which is something I use 99% of the time compared to other programs. So why is this happening and what solutions can I take to try and fix this? The mac I am using is: Mac OS X, Version 10.7.4

1) If the iTunes preference window is open when you connect your iPod, the iPod will not be recognized by iTunes.
Also, iPods can work with many iTunes libraries, so that is not the problem here.

Does the iPod show up in My Computer when connected to your computer? Does it say Do Not Disconnect?

2) What part aren't you understanding. Here are a couple of free programs you can use to convert videos...

Videora iPod Converter
The programs should come with documentation and instructions to convert videos.
3) You can go to file-->add file to library, file-->add folder to library, or have iTunes open and drag the files into the iTunes library while viewing the library.. You can also import from CDs.
iTunes needs to be adding the songs to the iPod. You cannot just add the song files to the iPod.

I have a Mac mini operating on Mac OS X(10.6.8) Snow Leopard. In the last couple of weeks I have been having intermittent problems sending mail from Mac MAIL, especially if I hit the reply button. It whirls around for ever and then tells me to 'Try Later' or 'Try Again'. When I shut down my computer and open up mail again, I hear the mail whizzing off. I have just tried it now and it went in the time that it has taken me to compose this email. But sometimes the mail doesn't go at all. Could it me because I have too many messages in my inbox and sent boxes (around 1000 in each)? I read somewhere that you should delete Mail in library/pref/com.apple.mail.plst and reinstal it. But I'm frightened to do this in case I can't re-instal it as I don't know how to.

My iPad2 is four weeks old and the home button will not always close the application it is currently running and the problem is getting worse and I have tried to restore the iPad but this did not improve the problem...Is this a hardware problem that I need to seek a replacement
Your home button and power button are completely unresponsive, even when you attempt a hard reset? If so you will have to put into recovery mode and restore through itunes or possibly DFU if that does not work

HT1695 Slide button will not work to turn on the wifi?
I cannot connect to wifi which I need to back up my phone as the slide button will not work on this setting only
Basic troubleshooting steps outline in the manual are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new. Try each of these in order until the problem is resolved. If you've been through all these steps and the trouble persists, you'll need to bring your phone to Apple for evaluation. Be sure to make an appointment first at the Genius Bar so you won't have a long wait.

my home button will not work...however I have heard that there is suppose to be an app
that you can download that looks like a little red dot that you can move over where ever you want to go
and click therefore to bypass the home button....does anyone know anything about this?

Fo some reason, the printers on /off button will not work, There is no problem with the wires I have checked all that and it is all in order. Very strange this is a very good printer but now I am stuck, plugged it in and out and turned it upside down nothing works to get that on button to work. How do I ge tto fix this problem.

Check your power cable is snug in the port of the computer, and other devices can get power from the same outlet you are connecting your Mac to.
Try holding the power button for 10 second and letting go, and try holding it for 2 seconds and let go. -
