Internet browser not supported

Hi. Unfortunately at the moment i have to use my 8120 for internet access. NatWest's online banking website comes up with an error message 'online banking does not support your internet browser'. Would anyone know if i could download a compatible browser for the website? Thank you.

I tried to use yahoo to get into the games and it told me the certificate was expired.  I am very unsure of this phone and I really don't understand it all yet.

  • Smart wi-fi browser not supported error by Linksys

Linksys seems to have created a doozy of an issue with this "browser not supported error" they keep displaying.  Its as if head office is oblivious to this.
I am running IE 11 with all the updates applied and it gives the error.  I downloaded firefox and it gives the same error.  I downloaded Maxthon cloud browser most recent version and it does not work except when you log in with your cloud browser ID.
I have the latest version of Java  51 and cookies are enabled.
The strange thing about the Maxthon experience was when I logged out it continued to work.  but when I went to another page and came back it stopped working.
There is something screwy in the linksys firmware here.  they should have a bypass for this not so smart thing.  Its really not worth the aggravation.  Can anyone pinpoint where the issue is with this thing please?

    Have you tried this?
-start with a turned off/powered down router
-turn on your PC and clear your browser cache with the router OFF
-prior to powering up the router... remove the WAN internet cable connecting the router to the cable modem or DSL unit.
    -power on the router
-navigate to the correct ip address (probably 192.168.1.1 if there were no other routers in your network)
-now attempt to log in using the ACCESS ROUTER panel
-from now on it- local login should display as the main log in window with the smart wifi option in a panel below instead of the reverse which was the factory default.
-reconnect your wan cable and use as always.
-now the expectation is that you will always be able to log in through the ACCESS ROUTER panel locally.
Let me know if it works for you.

  • RDWEB IE11 Browser not supported

I have 2008R2 with RDS. I have a couple Apps on it, and almost everything is fine, except that IE11 users are getting this error:
    Browser Not Supported
This Web browser is not supported by RD Web Access. RD Web Access requires Internet "Explorer 6.0 or later.
You can download the latest version of Internet Explorer from the
    Windows Update Web site. "
IE 11 is certainly later than 6.0.
I am not seeing anything in the forums, is there a work-around on either the server or client side?
    Thx!

Well, I think around Y2K, this would have been at the top of everyone's mind.  Because now, in 2014 this is essentially the same kind of problem.  Gollygosh, we never thought IE would go past 9.....
(I am kind of surprised it did too... however fairly certain V.11 will be the death of IE.  Unfortunately, most users want to be the race car driver, not the mechanic so fussing with the 'strings' ain't gonna happen, the will just load Chrome or Firefox
    and it will just work.
"Its an easy fix with changing the string function. When this was written I dont think anyone thought IE would be > then 10 any time soon."

  • I8.0 Browser Not Supported

Is it possible to catch exception (rather than system dump 'Sorry program/browser not supported" )gracefully when incompatible browser [for e.g IE 8.0] is used for calling Web Dynpro ABAP application?
    thanks,
    Sanketh

I don't believe that this can be caught becuase the error is thrown very early in the framework startup and your particular application hasn't even been started yet.
You can build custom error messages and attach them to the SICF node, but this isn't going to let you by pass the error.
The offical SAP response (from note 1294877) is that you can use the IE8 blocker toolkit provided by Microsoft to keep users from installing IE8.
Even if you could bypass the error or change the client string identification; IE8 isn't supported and you could run into problems and inconsistencies in the rendering.

  • View Wiki and Webcal on iPhone - Browser not supported

As the title suggests, I would like to use the wiki and webcal on an iphone.  Ideally, I would like to turn off the browser tests the server does so it just serves the page to an iphone just as it would to any other window.
FWIW, in an android phone, the wiki services give a "browser not supported notice" but still serves the page like a regular page, and it works fine.
I have many users, so a server side change would be better than trying to get all of my users to use an emulated browser.

What do you mean by "When I do a search on my browser, I get a message that it is not supported and the message suggests to use FIREFOX"?
    Where are you searching?
You're right, FireFox cannot be used, but your 8520 browser can emulate FF.
    Tell me more.

  • Netflix & Amazon-Mac & Browser Not Supported Issues

Hello! I am having issues with both Netflix and Amazon's "Search Inside" with my MacBook Pro. I have all the lastest OS (10.7.2), browsers (Safari, Firefox, Chrome) and according to their (Netflix and Amazon) requirements everything is fine. I even have Silverlight (which I couldn't download from Microsoft because it kept saying "browser not supported.").
It can't be a coincidence that I am having the same exact issue on all three browsers on these two sites.
What could the connection possibly be? I am absolutely stumped!
    Thanks for the help!

Hi there, I meant that I was getting similar issues with both Netflix AND Amazon...separately.
That said, I figured it out. It was my virus protection. Apparently Netflix and Amazon's "Look Inside" don't like it. I should have figured out that the virus protection s/w was the issue. Netflix suggested it and they were correct.
Yeah, yeah, I know... Macs don't need virus protection. After some of the security issues that have been going on, I say 'better safe, than sorry." ;-)
Thanks for the response and help!

  • Microsoft Adcenter says browser not supported

Microsoft Adcenter says browser not supported and tells me to enable cookies and java yet these are enabled

    Hello Siborg.
Can you provide me with a link for this site? You may need to contact Microsoft about this, though.
Or you may be having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not coming from one of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do that easily and cleanly, run Firefox in [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode safe mode] and select ''Disable all add-ons''. If the problem disappears, you know it's from an add-on. Disable them all in normal mode, and enable them one at a time until you find the source of the problem. See [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes this article] for information about troubleshooting extensions and theme. You can troubleshoot plugins the same way.
If you want support for one of your add-ons, you'll need to contact its author.

  • Saying "browser not supported" - what to do?

Saying "browser not supported"  - what to do?

    A couple of options:
Turn on the Developer menu. You can do this with a tool like iTweax 2.3 and try changing the user agent.
    Download and use Firefox instead.

  • Internet Browser Not Working despite re-sending service book...

    Can someone please help?
The web browser is not working on my Pearl.
I am with O2 and have been in the O2 shop for an hour today and on the phone to various people at customer services and still no joy on my Blackberry problem.
The internet browser is not working. My e-mail has been set up and i can recieve mails only, but not send them. The error code: YOU DO NOT HAVE ANY BROWSER CONFIG SERVICE BOOK ENTRIES, or when I try and send an e-mail, NO MESSAGE SERVICE CONFIG appears, despite re-sending service book codes, plus also turning my phone off, and taking the battery off several times whilst in the O2 shop and then at home when on the phone to customer services.
The people at my network are stumped, and so am I!
    Please, any solutions?

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
Even though two steps are redundant, I suggest the following steps (in order, waiting for success of each before proceeding to the next):
    1) Register HRT
Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table > (it does not matter which line is current) > Register Now
    2) Resend Service Books
KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    3) Batt Pull Reboot
Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then it sadly remains up to your carrier to resolve as they are the ones who deliver your services to you...
Good luck and let us know!

  • Playbook Internet browser not working

    Hi guys,
I need a little help here. I bought my PB two days ago.
It works fine the first day but I can't get into the internet browser the next day.
The browser would just shut itself down whenever I tried to open it.
I reboot couple of times but still no fix. Hard reset (volume +,- and power) and still didn't work. I ended up wiping the whole data and It still didn't work.
The internet browser keeps shutting itself whenever I open it.
Is there anything else I can do?
I'm about to return the PB but I'm trying to find ways to fix this before i do.
    my OS is (1.0.8.6067)
Everything else works (youtube, app world, etc) but only Internet browser wouldn't open.
    Thanks in advance.

you can recycle the router, and check again other wise backup your data and do a security wipe.

  • Browser not supported after CS4 Install

I installed CS4 Design Premium today and have been having browser trouble since. I'm getting alerts from multiple websites that state that my browser is not supported or that my system does not meet minimum requirements (veer.com, netflix.com). I have used all of these sites in the past with no problems on the exact same computer and system.
I'm receiving this message in both Firefox 3.0.10 and Safari 4.0. I would really appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.
In case it matters, I'm on a MacBook Pro 2.4 Ghz with 4GB RAM, OS 10.5.7.

I ran into a similar issue recently. Samsung HDTV used to work fine via HDMI from my Mac. After upgrade to Mavericks, the TV would just show a "Mode not supported" message.
Simple fix did it for me:
    * Connect the television to the Mac via HDMI cable as I normally would.
    * Power on TV and set to correct channel.
    * Go to System Preferences|Displays
    * Click the "Gather Windows†" button, which brought a hidden, 2nd Display window onto my Mac's screen.
    * Using this 2nd window, I was able to configure the resolution for the Samsung HDTV; in my case, 1080p.
† Note the "Gather Windows" button is only visible when multiple displays are connected and detected - which is the case when you see this "Mode not supported" message.

  • Blackberry 9300 browser not supported uploading picture?

Hi, I'm trying to sell on my local selling page on facebook, try upload picture then says my browser is not supported to uploaded photos, why is it saying it, anyone know wat I need to do to fix it, says when I wanna upload pictire to facebook profile? Blackberry 9300 I've got , working fine other day please help thank you

Sorry for the late reply. I don't think you have the updated version of the Facebook App because the last few versions of it allows you to upload photos right then and there. Even if you are viewing photos on your phone's album, pressing the Menu button gives you the option to send it to Facebook and it will upload it right there as long as you are logged in to Facebook. The last few versions don't connect you to a mobile site if you upload. Please check it and download the updated version of it.

Yes, if there's a firmware update for your device. But it won't make any difference. I agree, it's annoying. Use your other browser, as you said.
