Internet explorer menus on 4k monitors very very small

When I run IE on my 4k monitor I use the control+mouse wheel capability to nicely zoom the contents of the browser window. Works great.
It would be really useful if the cursor could also size up to a usable size and for the menus, navigation bar etc. to become larger. They are extremely tiny making them very hard to work with. I lose track of the cursor all the time. And no, I can't change
my desktop settings to enlarge everything because then the windows on my "normal" monitors become huge. Speaking of that, if another window is launched from IE (say a form), and I move it to one of my other monitors, they become so huge many don't
even fit top to bottom on a monitor. Wouldn't changing the nav bar, menus, etc. to be HTML elements allow everything to zoom uniformly? I'm sorry, but the results of mixing html and win32 elements in what a user perceives as a single window are ... comical.

Immersive IE is a frameless browser and scales adaptive content automatically ... the whole purpose of the Immersive browser was to accommodate a range of screen sizes on different devices. In desktop IE you can toggle fullscreen to completely hide the UI
menus and toolbars.

There is no application called "Adobe" - you are either working with Adobe Acrobat or the free Adobe Reader. Open up the preferences for the application (Edit>Preferences), then go to the "General" category and modify the settings for "Scale for screen resolution". You will have to restart the application after you do that. Does that fix your problems?

Photoshop Elements 12 with UHD (4k) Monitor - Very small Fonts and Icons

I´m using Photoshop Elements 12 under Windows 8.1 64bit with a Sapphire Radeon X9 R290 4GB-Graphics Card. Since a couple of days with a new Dell UP2414Q, UHD (4k) Monitor, max. Resolution 3840x2160 Pixel.
After connecting this device and using max. Resolution, most Fonts appear so small, that it is almost impossible to read.
Dell delivers a Display Manager-Software that allows to scale Fonts. Most Windows Apps are using this. Font Size is already set to 200%.
Unfortunatelly Organizer and Photoshop ignore this and text remains very small within these programs.
Activating "Bearbeiten / Voreinstellungen / Allgemein / Systemschrift verwenden" did not help.
Deinstallation (and deleting user-Settings) with Reinstalling also did not help.
(I added a screenshot here, but it does not show the truth... In reality all Fonts are about half the size.)
How can I get larger Fonts?
I´m really looking Forward to an answer.

Firefox is scaling down the photo sizes, along with chrome and internet explorer but Firefox's photos are usually smaller

I sell products on a site, along with other sellers, that is owned by someone else.
We have many sellers there. Some of us are having problems with how we are able to view the size of our photos taken of our products that are up for sale.
From seller to seller, we have different versions of Firefox that we are using. I have the newest Firefox, which I believe is 4.
I was having, like others who use 4, the same problem seeing smaller photos before I did the upgrade as well.
It seems to be the case for most of us who are having the problem, that Firefox photos scale down smaller than Internet Explorer and Chrome.
We have been told that this may be a browser issue as the site owners say they have not made any changes. At this point we are unsure since there are so many variations from seller to seller (keep in mind that some sellers are not seeing the photos scale down through their computer).
We have asked the site owners to look into this problem further. I also wanted to see what the Firefox community had to say. Do you think it may be a browser issue? We would greatly appreciate your input.
Below are some examples of photos that have been scaled down for the sellers who are seeing a problem with smaller photos while both in Firefox; all using different versions of Firefox:
One photo that was originally the size of 419px by 1, 007px is being seen by one seller to a scaled down size of 81px by 64px.
Another seller is viewing this same photo scaled down to 163px by 329px.
Another seller is able to view this photo as the original size it was intended to be, which is 419px by 1, 007px.
The above scenario has been the worst scaled down size we have heard of so far.
Typically a photo that is the size of 1, 000px by 930px has been scaled down to 420px by 391px.
There are other examples as to size, but you can see that the photos have been scaled down quite a bit.
You can see that it has been scaled down to less than half of the original size. This can pose a real problem for us depending on the type of product that is being photographed.

Flash, Javascript and Internet Explorer

This is driving me nuts...!!!!!! It works in Firefox but not

Explorer.
I've got a load of gifs on a page that I want to swap from a
Flash movie
using a loop.
This is the Javascript I'm using:

And I'm calling it in Flash using the following action

Like I say, in Firefox this works like a dream, but in

Hello everyone.
it's my first time writing in a forum.i have just bought a dell notebook inspiron 15 which i upgrated from windows 8 to windows 8.1. (First time working with windows 8.) i'm having distorted images at some sites, double or blurry either in internet explorer
firefox or chrome. also very often i'm getting an error message that the web page cannot be viewed(in explorer) and in firefox that i should communicate with the web page in order to inform them that . when i refresh the page loads normally..so why does that
happen..is there a problem with the browsers or are the websites outdated?
In addition, web players other than youtube, like for example JWplayer start playing for a moment and then stop.After refreshing they stop at the same spot. i have the latest update of adobe flash and no problem with my internet connection.

This pages all display fine in my PC, for IE, you can click Tools\Internet Options\Advanced, then under "Accelerated graphics" enable or disable hardware acceleration to check for hardware or software compatibility issues with viewing certain Internet websites.
Or under "Multimedia", enable automatic image resizing, check the result.
or clear browser history, temporary internet files, tools\internet options\general\delete... or reset IE as a test.
These are solutions for IE, since this issue happend on all browsers, I guess that it might be related with your video card--hardware device, if so, it's recommended to take this pc to a local shop to repair it.

Cannot send to printer like I can with Internet Explorer?

When ever I order from any company and they say print a copy for your records. No matter what print that I hit, nothing happens and I get not printed copy.

It has been 4 months. I have version 5.0 and still can't print from firefox. I homeschool my children and print form internet a lot every day and switching to internet explorer to print is becoming very very frustrating. Will this issue ever be fixed?

Firefox was fast when I first started using. Now, very slow to open and freezes often. Frequent message is "Warning-unresponsive script". Do I need to switch back to Internet Explorer?

Switched from Internet Explorer because seemed slow. Firefox was fast at first. Then upgraded to Firefox 4 and frequently have trouble opening. Sometimes page doesn't open, or is very slow. If I try to open again I will get Mozilla Firefox Unresponsive or a message that say "Warning-Unresponsive Script". Often have to restart and do the whole thing again. Don't really want to switch back to Internet Explorer, but getting tired of taking a half hour to get into my emails!

I am having the same problem, but not sure what's causing the slow down. Restarting in safe mode fixes the performance problem... but disabling all plug ins and extensions in normal mode (and restarting firefox) still shows the bug. Any ideas?

Adobe Reader view in Internet Explorer is very narrow

I am able to open PDF files inside Internet Explorer but they show up in a 2 inch wide (or so) column on the left side of the screen and I am unable to get this very narrow view to widen. The PDF is there but very very small. Zooming in works but again all I can see is 2 inches or so of the left hand side. The right hand side is solid black as if the plugin is just sized down to be very narrow. I've reinstalled Acrobat Reader but still have the issue. Has anyone ever seen this?

When I print an email using firefox as my browser the print if very, very tiny. No problem using Internet Explorer. This happens with both my Gmail and my AOL emails.

My emails are printing in very tiny type (unreadable). This happens in both my Gmail and AOL email accounts. When I use internet explorer it doesn't happen. I have researched the answers online and it seems that if I go to Firefox>file>page setup>scale and set it to 100% it may fix the problem. However, I cannot figure out how to take the first step. Where can I find "file"????

1. orange Firefox button in the upper-left corner - then click on Print - then click on Page Setup
2. if that orange Firefox button isn't showing and the Menu bar is - click to open File - then click to open Page Setup

Internet Explorer 5.1.7 very slow

You do not indicate how much real RAM you have. Here are a few suggestions for you to try:
Increase IE Preferred Memory by at least 300%.

Once a week in IE Edit>Preferences, delet History, Empty Cache (if you have cable set Cache to 0).
Once a week Go into the system folder>preferences folder & trash the following preferences:

MRJ Cache folder-a new one will be recreated.(If not found go to System folder>Application Support>MRJ Cache folder-trash all you find inside-(DO NOT TRASH THIS FOLDER)

History.html-found inside Explorer Folder
Rebuild your desktop w/extensions off. Use Techtool Lite or Trash*Desktop - may delete Finder comments to rebuild your desktop w/extensions off. Does a better job than manually & you avoid all the finger gymnatics. You just have to hold down the shift key to shut off extensions.
Restart to turn the extensions back on again & empty the trash.

If the above does not work, then dump the %#&*X@ & check out other Mac browsers

Internet Explorer keeps braking in when I don't want them. Very irritating. What can I do to stop this brake in?

I am not any web site, but on line, and suddenly Internet Explorer pops up with a different advertisement every time. Then they say page can not be connected. This happens quite frequently when I am not doing anything on the computer. It gets very irritating when I am working on a document to just print out and not email. Since installing Firefox as my default browser, and removing Internet Explorer 9,which was awful, my Homepage screen is just in the middle of my screen with very small print and empty space on each side of it. Can the be fixed?

Three days ago I installed Internet Explorer 9 as my browser. When I tried to sign in to my email on my homepage I couldn't.
I contacted my service provider and they said that Explorer 9 was not compatible with them as it is in Beta form and also in test mode.
They suggested that I remove Explorer 9 and install Firefox, which I did. Then they said it was a good idea to have more than one browser at a time and to go into the Microsoft site and download Explorer 8.
I tried this and it would not let me go back to Explorer 8 only forward to 9 which I reinstalled.
After all of this my Homepage only fills up the middle of my screen and I have empty space on either side of the picture. When I browse, the site I go to opens up to full page, but the print is much smaller than before.
I don't know what I installed to make my viewing so much smaller or my homepage to shrink.
Also do I really need 2 browsers or can I just go with Firefox?
If so, how will not having Internet Explorer affect my browsing?
Firefox is set as my default browser and I am enjoying using it, I just wish I had my Homepage back to full screen!

When going to a website the picture was small - tried changing the Zoom size , tried Zoom Reset - the text did change size but the layout distorts - found under View - Zoom - Zoom Text Only was checked --- Removed this check mark and the website returned to normal size and Zoom worked normally again. I am 99.9999% sure I did NOT check this myself and there is no one else on the computer to cause it. Maybe this will help.
