Invalid Application Path
Hello,
While creating a new FDM application I am currently recieving a message that states that the application path is invalid.
Path statement currently being used_
\\SeverName\D$\Hyperion\products\FinancialDataQualityData\AppName
Can someone please shed some light on this issue?
Thank you!
Tony
The folder "AppName" likely does not exist. Remove that. When creating a new app, FDM will create the "AppName" folder natively.

PraveenHi Praveen,
Make sure -
1. Relative path you given is right
2. Casing is right (name is case sensitive)
3. Servlet is loaded (read server logs or access through browser)
May be it can help you out -

ZDM Agent "Invalid Drive Path"
We use Zenworks to install software and use the Zenworks folders to display the program shortcut icon. After installed, it will launch (Run options tab > Application > Path to file) and the program will start. I'm having an issue for the last couple weeks that some users are seeing:
0xD001
Could not get needed resources for application [application name] to be launched (id=number).
Problem: Invalid drive path [specified drive path]
The same NAL app is working fine for other users. I have confirmed on the faulty pc that the program will run manually and through a Windows shortcut link. The only thing I have noticed is the users that its failing on has ZDM 6.5 agent. If I upgrade them to ZDM 7, its fixed!
Apparently there is alot of pc's which still have ZDM 6.5 but I'm only hearing a few complaints. I know a fix is to upgrade to ZDM 7 but we have a conflicting issue if they have the ZCM inventory agent, the upgrade will kill DLU policy.
Any ideas to discover why this is happening all of a sudden and possible fix?You could try having the App launch your program from the "Launch
Script" instead of "Path to File".
This helped with some issues I had years ago.
(Might have been ZEN2 .........)
Maybe Try Killing the NALCache Folder on those devices?

WARNING: JTS5020: Invalid log path when connecting to JTS
Hi
I am using JNDI to connect to JDBC resources defined in Sun's App Server from a standalone application.
The application is not part of the J2EE container.
I was able to sucessfully connect and execute SQL against the db passing VM params...
my problem is that every time application runs I get the WARNING about JTS logs
Here is a sample of my output:

Is there any way to specify the log file location so that the warning will go away?
ThanksHi,
This message is harmless and comes, when standalone client (if you use appclient it will not come) is used. Ignoring the message is the right thing.

Netca result in CRS-0241: invalid Directory path.
I did install clusterware and db binaries. When started netca, got following error...
linux1:(oracle):rac1> netca

linux2...
problem in configuration: Nodes(s): linux1: CRS-0241: invalid Directory path.
Nodes(s): linux2: CRS-0241: invalid Directory path.
Any help appreciated..Thanks...or Just follow the below steps:
1. As root on each application node, bring in the Oracle environment:
. ~oracle/.bashrc (Linux)
OR
. /home/oracle/.profile (Solaris x86)
2. Change the owner of $CRS_HOME/crs; this prevents error CRS-0241, Invalid directory path:
chown oracle:oinstall $CRS_HOME/crs
3. From an X-Windows application, log into the lowest-numbered application node as the oracle user.
4. Change to the directory that contains the tns information:
cd $TNS_ADMIN
5. If you are going to use an existing database, make a copy of the tnsnames.ora file:
cp -p tnsnames.ora tnsnames.ora.bk
6. Remove the tnsnames.ora file:
rm -f listener.ora tnsnames.ora
7. Run netca, taking all defaults.

Invalid Parent Path in Archive
Secure Access V2.0 returned an error when I tried to open my vault. After I type in the password I get the error message, "Invalid Parent Path In Archive". When I click 'OK' I get the standard "4 Ways To Protect Your Data" screen as usual when I open a vault. When I click the 'Next" button I get the error, "This vault could not be loaded, it may be located on another computer or the original vault file has been manually removed." After I click OK the main screen opens. It has the vault listed, but if I click on it I get the same error message. Whats going on? How can I access my vault? It is my backup for important documents and archives. No, I haven't moved or deleted the vault. The vault is located on the memory stick.I only work from one computer running Windows 7. This particular Sandisk 32 Extreme is never used with any other computer. I haven't changed the password. Everything was working fine until I just couldn't sign in.
Hello, There are some steps you can try in order to recover the vault files . 1) copy the vault and secure access application from the write protected drive over to the new drive2) run secure access on the new drive3) when it prompts to create a new vault go ahead and create a new vault with the exact same password as the old vault4) encrypt any file in the new vault (this will generate two new system files)5) close secure access6) open the vault folder on the new drive via windows explorer, navigate to the system files folder, you should see several files, among them are two sets of "USB Flash Drive-XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.idx and .bak files7) Looking at the date stamps of the files, 2 will be older and 2 will be newer (you can also check on the old write protected drive to confirm the names of the older files, the older files contain the encryption information needed however the file name is associated with the previous drive we will need to rename the old files)8) copy the 2 newer files and paste them into any temporary location outside of the flash drive (i.e.. desktop)8) once you've copied the two new files to a temporary location delete the originals from the system files folder on the flash drive.9) go to the temporary location and copy only the file name from the .idx file (the file name, not the file itself)10) go to the vault / system files and rename the old .idx file with the name you copied from the new .idx file11) repeat the same for the idx.bak file12) now you should have renamed the old .idx and .idx.bak files with the names of the newly generated system files.

I have tried uninstalling and re-installing the Azure SDK with no change in the error.
Any ideas how I can troubleshoot this?I uninstalled the SDK, and tried to create a new cloud servce using the WCF service project template. The new project still gives me the same error:

How do I define my web application path in Tomcat6
Hi friends,
Can anybody tell me how to define and where to define my web-application path in tomcat 6 server?
I absolutely don't want to change any files inside tomcat6\conf\ folder (like its server.xml or context.xml)
My problem comes in the following scenario:
i) My Webapplication path is c:\tomcat6\webapps\test-servletii) I have one html form file registration.html in c:\tomcat6\webapps\test-servlet\registration.htmliii) I have a form processing servlet in path c:\tomcat6\webapps\test-servlet\WEB-INF\classes\pkg_register\Process_Registration.classiv) web.xml file inside WEB-INF\ has contents

<servlet-name>Process_Registration</servlet-name>
<url-pattern>/Process_Registration</url-pattern>
</servlet-mapping>
</web-app>PROBLEM : In html <form action="/test-servlet/Process_Registration"> works fine.
But every time I don't want to give my web application folder name in URLs( not in web.xml or in form action, it should be default relative path).
I want to give just, <form action="/Process_Registration"> in registration.html file's form action.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.
---SujoyThanks...
It solved the problem by putting <form action="Process_Registration"> instead of <form action="/Process_Registration">When I was using <form action="/Process_Registration"> it was directly taking me to
http://localhost:8888/Process_Registration .
But, now when i use <form action="Process_Registration"> it takes me to
http://localhost:8888/test-servlet/Process_Registration which IS CORRECT.
But, still i don't know why the <form action="/Process_Registration"> was taking me out of my current webapplication path. It should have given me ERROR.

ORA-20091: Invalid Application ID when importing APEX 4.0 Application
Hi Folks
Anyone got a suggestion on this one?
Scenario:
1. Perform an APEX 4.0 Export of application ID 10132 from one workspace
2. Import the application into another APEX 4.0 workspace and change the application ID whilst doing so.
3a. During the import process, override the application ID to one that exists in the workspace being imported into.
In APEX 3.2 you got a warning that you were overwriting an existing app
In APEX 3.2 this would then complete the exercise with your new app replacing the previous one with the same ID
In APEX 4.0 I received ORA-20091: Invalid Application ID
3b. Delete the pre-existing application (e.g. app_id 999) completely in the workspace we intend to import into
Following successful deletion of the application (app_id 999) attempt to import the application export file from the other workspace
During the import, use the UI to change the application id from 10132 to 999.
Still receive the ORA-20091: Invalid Application ID error despite APP ID 999 having been deleted
4. I got this to work by allowing APEX to simply assign a new application ID
My problem is that, whilst this was not a problem when importing to our UAT environment, our DEV and Production environments share the same APP ID (10132) this is so that when upgrading the production application, users saved Interactive reports are preserved. This was fine in APEX 3.2 but is, as yet, untested by us in 4.0.
As things stand at the moment, we have APEX 4.0 in DEV and UAT but this would appear to be a block for us in terms of upgrading production to 4.0.
Any thoughts, comments and suggestions welcome.
Many thanks
Kind regards
Simon GaddWe ran into a similar problem. My initial tests showed the following to be a work around.
Assumption: You want to end up with the same ID as the original so you don't have to give a new link to everyone.
1. Before copying the app (lets say it's 333) from 3.2 (3.1 in our case) export it and then import it back, still in 3.x with a different app ID, i.e. 99333.
2. In ApEx 4: Import the app 99333 and install it with app ID 333 (the original app ID). After this process, I was able to make necessary changes to the app on ApEx 4, export it, and then import it again, still as ID 333.
I know this sounds very round-about, and I can't explain why it worked, but it worked.
Disclaimer: I certainly may have missed something that would still make it break. This was the result of a few different test scenarios done in a limited time.
So, it's probably best to wait for 4.0.1 if you can.
By the way, I tried creating a brand new app. in ApEx 4, export it and then import it as itself, and I still got the same error. Like I said, I don't know why it worked, but when I imported an older app with one ID into ApEx 4 with a new ID, I was able to export it and then import it again with that same new ID.
Have a great weekend,
