Invoice creation issue (MIRO) against purchase order - reference
while creating invoice i am getting the error : GL account not defined in chart of account.

Go to transaction FSP0 and Select the corresponding chart of account and Create G/L Account at chart of accounts level.
Then create the G/L account at the respective company code level by using FSS0.

our company want to post an invoice for other expense in MIRO through the tab "G/L Acconunt" and don't through the tab "PO reference".
our problem that when we post through "G/L Account" how we allocate the "purchasing document" to the line of G/L Account?
in miro there is an option to create a posting line with purchase order reference to a g/l account and i read the documentation that says proceed as follows:
1. choose miro
2. enter header data as required
3. allocate the invoice to a document and check the items to be settled - i don't underdand what i need to do in this step?
4. choose the tab page g/l account
5. enter data as requierd.

in the table below your MIRO screen you will see PO Reference on this tab select the item of the PO that you need post for this PO, in the tab G/L account you can make manual post aditional to the PO, also you can in the tab PO reference modify amounts and quantity if you need, but it is not recommended -

You can post the invoice in following two ways:
1. Activating the G/L account tab and material tab near to PO reference tab...by this you can post the invoice to the given G/L account or material account...
To activate the tabs go to:
SPRO --> MM --> Purchasing --> PO --> confiure postings directly to G/L account or material account...
For this go to MIRO --> Enter the Base line date, payments terms and invoicing party and later enter the details in the G/L account and material data tab...and then save the invoice...posting will be done...
2. the second way is you can reference other documents as given above and post the invoice...If none of the docs exsist then above process is better ...

Is there any standard report in SAP where we can get vendor outstanding against purchase order . (Purchase order made,miro also made , but payment is still due ). How can we find or track the pending payment of vendor against which purchase order.Hi
No standard report displays your requirement.
Prepare a Functional Specification(FS) as per your requirement and tell your ABAP Guy to prepare a Customized Report.

MIGO - GR Against Purchase Order - Delivery Note # not to Repeat !!
Hi all,
Here is a interesting requirement from the business user!!
Scenario: Currently they are making Goods receipt against Purchase order in Transaction MIGO. Delivery Note # (LFSNR) is entered during Posting.
Problem: Recently they did MIGO for Purchase order, by mistake they did Goods receipt twice for same vendor delivery note # !
Question: Can you please suggest a way to validate the Delivery note # field of MIGO, Such that it is unique. If the number is Repeated for the Same Vendor, system should throw a error message, stating that Delivery note # already exists. So that it avoids posting of GR for same delivery note even by mistake !!
I thought of validating this entry in MSEG Table, but problem is it will delay the posting of document !!
Is there a standard user exit or setting to validate this field during posting!!

If you see transaction VL31, Creation of Inbound Delivery, SAP did the validation for EXTERNAL ID in the Input screen of the Transaction. If we try to repeat the External id #, system throws error message as below.
"The external ID of the delivery note is not unique (see inb. dely
0180267952)" Message no. BORGR547
When we make Goods receipt against Inbound Delivery instead Purchase order. We may over come the problem some how. Reason is that during Inbound Delivery creation itself External ID is validated. During GR against Inbound Delivery this External Id gets copied as Delivery Note #, so this is the alternative i thought !!

Capture Excise Invoice w.r .t Without Purchase order
HI
When i try to post J1IEX i.e Capture Excise Invoice w.r .t Without Purchase order i am getting the following error message :
Balance in transaction currency
Message no. F5702
Diagnosis
A balance has occurred in transaction currency 'INR' with the following details:
Exchange rate '00', amount ' 1.000-' and currency key 'INR'.
The data in the transaction currency were transferred from the calling application.
System Response
Your data cannot be processed in FI.
Procedure
The error is probably in the calling application
Please help me to solve this issue

check in cin-basic settings- co code settings , there will be a check box "Rounding duty on procurement" , pls tick mark this and check it..
otherwise check in debit / credit selection for EWPO trans type . as per blw in - Logistics General Tax on Goods Movements India Account Determination Specify Excise Accounts per Excise Transaction

Cant able to do UD for Goods Receipt Inspection against Purchase Order
Hi Experts,
I am facing problem while doing UD for Goods Receipt Inspection against Purchase Order.
The Problem is,
"Selected set code does not exist, or data entered is incomplete
Message no. QV121
Diagnosis
Code in code group * (selected set 1000 in plant ) does not exist.
Procedure
Enter a valid combination or complete combination, or make sure that the combination is available in the selected set."
And the Result Recording for Inspection lot is completed.

1. Go to QCC0 > Quality inspection > Inspection lot creation > Maintain Inspection Types > Select 01 (or the type which you are using) and double click on it.
2. Check what code is maintained in UD Selected Set
3. Create the same code in QS51 for your plant.

Contract against purchase order
Dear All..
I want to create purchase order with reference to quantity based contract but i want to know the report contract against purchase order details..
in ME2L this is not showing any other standard reports available in Standard SAP.

In ME2N you can get the PO's pertaining to a contrcat , click on dynamic selection (Shift+F4)
Open the PO Item details & in the Field Outline Agreement , enter the Contrcat Number & in the Field
Principal Agmt Item enter the Contrcat item number & execute the report. You will get all the PO's for that Contract

Error in Invoice creation in MIRO

Version 4.6 C
During invoice creation in MIRO, the following error message occurs :
" Item: 000001 PO Commitment Item 2CO0703800 Invoice Commitment Item.
Message No FICUSTOM 068".
For the message class FICUSTOM 068 in 4.6c the description is "PO Commitment item && Invoice Commitment item"
we have also checked the PO.there is a sufficient balance in the PO Quantity for this invoice.

When selecting only SEND (sender side of the transfer process) or RECV

The transaction stops. A pop-up is displayed.
Procedure
Please select both SEND and RECV.

The strange thing is that this note is only available as of 4.7 release and you are on 4.6. There is no another standard note regarding this error message. Therefore as the text of the error that you are receiving in your system is different from the one provided in the note, it seems to be that it is an own development.
Did you try to do a watchpoint or checking in the program code (SE38) where this message is changed to this content or where this message is issued? It will give a good direction to understand why this error is issued.

of credit (LC) .
Depending on the terms of Purchase order , Vendor will discount it /get
payment from Bank on submitting LC and other necessary documents.
Vendor's Bank, at appropriate Time will send the same to Customer's Bank
How to mapped this scenario in SAP-MM and FI .
Activities required to be updated against Purchase order :
(1) Payment Terms : 100 % against LC on delivery
(2) History should reflect LC opened - Date and Bank Name which
Vendor has suggested, our company's Bank Name
(3) LC discounted details
(4) LC payment due date to our company Bank - as Procurement needs
to inform to Finance for this.
Any help will be highly appreciated.

Excise Invoice is captured with another Purchase Order
Hi
We have a scenrio, transfer the material from debond plant to mfg plant after imported material in kept in Bonding area. STO po is raised to from imported plant to mfg plant with Imported duties as delivery costs.
Bill of entry is provided for all the materials as one. While capturing the excise amount at line item level is difficult so, captured at first line item level as total because material is Same (Material is Split valuated materials with 3 batches). First GR is done properly but next GR for 2nd and 3 rd line items are refered with earlier Bill of entry, system promprts the error message "Excise Invoice is captured with another Purchase Order".
Please do the needful.

Please be informed that for one a GR document wrt PO only one excise invoice can exist.
Ex PO-4500000010
GR no 5000000010
only one excise can exist and if the same excise invoice is reffered to another GR with the same PO system will throw an error message. Please let me know the exact business requirement in detail.

MIGO - Goods Receipt against Purchase order. PO rate dispaly.
Is it possible to display purchase order line item rate in MIGO - Goods Receipt against purchase order - Quantity tab.
In Quantity tab - System is showing Qty in Unit of Entry, Qty in SKU, Qty in Delivery Note, Quantity Ordered, alongwith these fields we also want display of Purchase order rate/each of that line item.
Please guide.BTW you are getting PO number at MIGO and clicking over that you will get entire PO then why you want PO rate display here??

Our Client's requirement is as follows u2013
Advance payment against Purchase order/Work Order:
1. Advance should be PO/WO wise & not item wise.
2. Advance should not exceed total PO/WO value.
3. Advance against PO should include taxes & conditions maintained in PO/WO
When I put the purchase order number along with the item number, it is taking into account the basic price for that specific item. This amount is excluding Tax.
Actually the advance is given against the Purchase Order. So whether it is possible to
1. Remove the mandatory filed of Item number against the PO?
2. Whether the amount of the advance should be inclusive of the Tax?

I am creating a report for goods receipt tracking against purchase order within in date range . If any material documant has been canceld ( 101 to 102 or 103 to 104 ) then it (101 or 103) should not be calculate receipt goods. if 105 is pending for any 103 still 103 qty should be add in receipt goods. Is there any Function module for do that or any other logic. plz tell.

Issues with printing purchase order
Dear friends,
I'm having some issues with printing purchase orders.
Normally when I create a purchase order via ME21N and then when I save the purchase order it then gets automatically printed.
Suddenly it is not anymore working. I have created a purchase order this morning and it did not get printed. I get the message "frontend is not available"when i check the spool in SP01
The funny think is if i call up the spool nr via SP01and then do a reprint then i'm able to reprint.
What can be possibly the issue that I can't print the purchase order when I create the purchase order via ME21 when I save the purchase order? Can you help me with any guide on where I need to check why the PO is not printing immediatelly when i create the PO via ME21N?

i have checked today my user settings and that shows that my prints should go to LOCL (local default printer)
The output conditions fpr purchase order have also LOCL (local printer)
The weird thing is that I can print other reports to the default printer without any issues. The issue arise when I create a purchase order via ME21N. Normally when I save the PO it automatically prints. So no manual print instructions are required from my side. Because if I give manual instructions then I'm able to print the purchase order.
Is it possible that the automatic printing is switched off and that it only prints when I hit manually the print button?
Is the automatic printing something that is maintained in SPAD?
