I am in Singapore, and own this apple tv for a few days and everything were alway ok.
Today, I upgraded the ios to version 5.1(5201). After the upgrade process was done, the apple tv can not login to itune store.
I am a software engineer. I confirm that the network setting are fine and the username and password are correct, so I doubt it is server's problem.
Even when I "reset all setting", I can not activate my Apple TV.
Even more, I try to click "update software", and it said "it is unsuccessful ...". I remembered that it should inform me "the version is newest" before I "reset all setting".
So, I doubt it is because before the server serving Singapore has some problem now.
However, now I can not choose location to US or others, because after I upgraded, the location selection box is empty.
So, I have no idea.........I check the internet connection status of my Apple TV, and got the result as
192.168.2.101 118.214.190.18 TCP www Accepted
192.168.2.101 118.214.190.17 TCP www Accepted

192.168.2.101 118.214.191.54 TCP www Accepted
, where 192.168.2.101 is my Apple TV's ip.
And I also set up a DNS server and check which domains Apple TV queries, and found that
ax.init.itunes.apple.com(118.214.190.17 118.214.190.18 118.214.191.54 118.214.191.77 all in Singapore)

phobos.apple.com(17.154.66.38)
mesu.apple.com(118.214.190.152)
And ip of ax.init.itunes.apple.com are all in Singapore.
I am doubt the iOS 6.0 (TV software 5.1(5201) ) has not been deploy to Singapore. Last time, I select location as US, so it informed me to update to iOS 6.0. -
Hello
just did the the new upgrade and now half of my songs are not playing. A screen appears and says you need to search for your music in folders. What the heck happen with this ? Anybody have any issues too? This happens if the file is no longer where iTunes expects to find it. Possible causes are that you or some third party tool has moved, renamed or deleted the file, or that the drive it lives on has had a change of drive letter. It is also possible that iTunes has changed from expecting the files to be in the pre-iTunes 9 layout to post-iTunes 9 layout,or vice-versa, and so is looking in slightly the wrong place.
Select a track with an exclamation mark, use Ctrl-I to get info, then cancel when asked to try to locate the track. Look on the summary tab for the location that iTunes thinks the file should be. Now take a look around your hard drive(s). Hopefully you can locate the track in question. If a section of your library has simply been moved, or a drive letter has changed, it should be possible to reverse the actions.
Alternatively, as long as you can find a location holding the missing files, then you should be able to use my FindTracks script to reconnect them to iTunes .

My Apple ID is verified, when I sign into iCloud on iPad it can not verify?
My Apple ID shows "verified" on the manage my ID page on Apples website, when I sign into iCloud on iPad it can not verify?
Try going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

My iPhone 4S on iOS7 is stuck on Apple Logo, and it goes off, then back to Apple Logo again for hours. Pressing home button together with sleep button does not help. Plugging the phone to Mac and restart does not help either. What do I do?
Have not backed up for months, so prefer not to lose the data.
Thank you for your help in advance.Restore iPhone with iTunes on computer. Open iTunes on computer. Connect iPhone to computer with USB cable. Hold both Home and Power buttons until iTunes recognizes iPhone in Recovery Mode, usually about 20 seconds time of holding both buttons. Click the Update or Restore button that iTunes offers.

You might try a forced shutdown to begin with, hold down the top and home buttons together until the device shuts down, then restart it. -

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year. Then see if you can connect to the store.

my ipod touch would not go past the apple logo, it would just shut off. i held the power and home keys and connected to itunes but now its on the connect to itunes picture and shuts off on its own. even if i try and shut it off myself it won't. it only stays on for about 3-5 minutes:( please help!!!
When it shows the Connect to iTunes screen and you connect it to iTunes, have you tried restoring it?
This should solve your problem because the most common cause of your issue is a software glitch that is preventing your iPod from completing it's boot sequence. Restoring it will replace the software on the iPod with a fresh set so it can be used again. -
Ipad mini is stuck on Apple Logo, have shut down but still won't reboot
Ipad mini is stuck on Apple Logo. Have done a forced shut down, but when it starts up again its back to the apple logo - its not moving either
Hi Bonney Fam,
Thanks for contributing to the Apple Support Communities.
You mention that your iPad mini is stuck at the Apple logo after it shut down. If you haven't already, try resetting it again:
To reset, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.
From:
Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
If the iPad still doesn't start up past the Apple logo, try this method to reinstall iOS:
If your device gets stuck during startup
When starting up, you might see the Apple logo or a red or blue screen for a long time, or your device might restart again. Try these steps:
Make sure that you have iTunes 12 or later on your computer.
Put your device in recovery mode.
When you get the option to restore or update, select Update. This will reinstall iOS without erasing your data.

can any body helpThe error 3194 means that "This device is not eligible for the requested build" A way to fix this problem is (Only on PC) 1st. Close iTunes 2nd. Look in C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\ Look for the "hosts" file, and click-it, when it asks you with what program do you want to open it, select "notepad". When the file opens, go to the very bottom of the text and copy this: 74.208.105.171 gs.apple.com
After that, save it, open iTunes and try to restore with the firmware you tried last time. And it should work, when the restore finish, open the "hosts" file and erase the code you pasted there, so iTunes can look for updates properly.
